Jersey Boys Theater News - 2013 Jersey Boys Musical Updates
What sets Jersey Boys apart from other musicals is its documentary style and also the ability of its characters, posing as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, to really get the crowd into the music. It’s as though they are performing a real concert! And there is no need to have ever attended the real thing in the Sixties to have the chance to time-travel and totally enjoy the ride.
The current U.S. tour has dates scheduled a whole year out – all the way to August 2014. There is a performance nearly every night. The Jersey Boys will be bouncing between the Paris Casino
in Las Vegas and the August Wilson Theatre
in New York until September 3, when there is a show at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, AR. They will juggle the three venues, then add dates in Birmingham, Columbus, OH, and, starting in October, Grand Rapids, MI. Waterbury, CT and Milwaukee are also on the itinerary for October. Other dates include Nashville and Baltimore through the winter, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Orlando, Cleveland, and Fort Worth in the spring. There are also shows in California and Arizona slated for next summer.
The Jersey Boys do not perform on Mondays, but otherwise you can have your pick of any night of the week! Jersey Boys tickets
are available for Las Vegas shows starting at $85. New York shows are a little pricier, starting at $94. Tickets for 2014 shows are comparably priced, so booking in advance may not make a huge difference. The shows do sell out, however, so don’t wait too long to get your Jersey Boys tickets!
