Toronto FC 2015 Season

7/10/15 - The Toronto FC is right in the middle of the pack in the Eastern Conference, holding tight to their number five spot on the standing board. Close behind them is the New York Red Bulls and the New York City FC, vying for their spot in the playoffs. Each game is extremely important going forward as the race to the playoffs begins. Fortunately the Toronto FC is coming off a giant win against the LA Galaxy on July 4. Toronto took it to the Galaxy and showed no mercy, scoring four goals to the Galaxy’s goose egg. Toronto will face off against NYC FC on July 12, which will make a huge impact on rankings. Don’t miss all of the action and instead get your tickets today. Tickets start at $27 a piece.

6/10/15 - The Toronto FC have a three-game winning streak going, and they’ve moved up to third in the MLS Power Rankings this week. Last week they won at the D.C. United 2-1, and with those points, they’ve scored 19 points in the season for a 1.58 points-per-game average. Toronto FC has to be proud that four of their team members made the provisional roster for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup, Quillan Roberts, Ashtone Morgan, Jonathon Osorio, and Jordan Hamilton all the potential to make on the final roster, which should be announced at the end of June. On Saturday (6/20), Toronto FC hosts the New York City FC at BMO Field, and tickets start at $34. Don’t wait to get your tickets because they are getting sold out fast.

2014 Season

Will this be the year of the breakthrough for Toronto FC? The Reds have made a number of splashes in the offseason – the acquisitions of American midfield engine Michael Bradley and England forward Jermain Defoe, and the more recent acquisition of Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar from Premier League side Queen’s Park Rangers; and the return of Canadian international striker Dwayne de Rosario, most likely for his last go-around. TFC have never qualified for the MLS Cup playoffs in their history, although they advanced as far as the semifinals of CONCACAF Champions League in 2011.
