New York City FC 2016 News and Updates
The New York City FC soccer team isn’t having a completely unfortunate season. They are in seventh place in the Eastern Conference, but have had some astonishing games. On Independence Day, the New York City FC took on the Montreal Impact for the second time. The biggest player of the game was New York’s player, David Villa, scoring the two and only goals for New York. Montreal’s Ignacio Piatti, was able to score one penalty kick for Montreal, but it wasn’t enough to match New York’s two goals. This single game pushed NYCFC above the Impact and the Philadelphia Union for their current seventh place spot. See if they can continue to climb the Eastern Conference board when they face off against the Toronto FC on July 12. Tickets start at $27 a piece.
