MAPFRE Stadium figures to be rocking on Sunday evening, as the revitalized franchise and fan base gets set for one of the biggest matchups in recent memory. 11/25/15 - It’s a busy and exciting time of year for sports fans, and it’s perhaps even more so for soccer clubs. The road to the MLS finals is well under way, and out of 20 teams, just four remain. Before determining which teams will make it to the championship, two games have to happen. On Sunday, FC Dallas and the Portland Timbers will meet up one final time and the Columbus Crew will head off against the New York Red Bulls. As of now, Portland is up 3-1 over Dallas and Columbus leads New York 2-0. MLS soccer fans should know that they can still get their hands on tickets for either of these exciting games.

11/18/15 - There is still plenty of time to get your tickets for the first weekend of MLS Soccer conference finals! After an exciting knockout round last weekend, the final four teams are gearing up for their chance to earn a spot at this year’s Stanley Cup. It looks to be a grueling road to the championship, however, with Columbus Crew taking on New York next Sunday, November 22. After that game concludes, the Portland Timbers will take on FC Dallas, who went into overtime penalty shots to earn their bid to the conference finals. 11/11/15 - The MLS Soccer conference semifinals concluded last weekend, with one game going into extra shots and culminating in a devastating defeat for Seattle. New York managed to overtake D.C. United for the second week in a row, sending them to the conference finals. Columbus Crew beat the Montreal Impact 3 – 1, giving them the advantage heading into the conference championship. The Portland Timbers took out the Whitecaps FC 2 – 0, giving them the conference finals bid. Finally, FC Dallas sent Seattle home after beating them in a shootout 4 – 2. It was a brutal loss for Seattle, dashing their hopes of a championship appearance. Don’t miss the conference finals next weekend!

11/4/15 - Conference semifinals are underway in MLS Soccer, which is all leading up to the final match on Sunday, December 6. The semifinals have already produced a few surprising victors, including Seattle’s 2 – 1 romp over the ever-popular FC Dallas. New York also managed to shut out D.C. United, winning the match 1 – 0. Not every game was shocking, of course. The Montreal Impact help strong by defeating the Columbus Crew 2 – 1, and the Portland Timbers and Whitecaps FC tied in a 0 – 0 stalemate. 10/28/15 - It’s playoffs time in MLS Soccer! The first round wrapped up on Wednesday, with at least one surprising result. D.C. United managed to beat New England 2 -1, but the real shocker came in the second match. Seattle upset the LA Galaxy 3 -2. The next two matches take place today, Thursday, October 29. The Montreal Impact will face the Toronto PC at 5:00 p.m. Then, the Portland Timbers will play the Sporting KC later at 8:00 p.m. Winners will advance to the Conference Semifinals, which kick off on November 1. Tickets are still available to most matchups, so be sure to scoop up your tickets now to catch the action this weekend!

10/21/15 - MLS Soccer power ranking are out for this week, with a few surprises at the top of the charts heading toward Decision Day. The New York Red Bulls are on top after bouncing back from a rough patch. FC Dallas comes in at number two, as they are practically unbeatable when Mauro Diaz is healthy. Columbus Crew SC are holding down the number three spot thanks largely to their strong offense. The Los Angeles Galaxy and Montreal Impact round out the power rankings at number four and number five. 7/8/15 - A lot of the major League Soccer players are heading to participate in the Gold Cup this week. Some of the teams will suffer from the loss of their top players and it will be interesting to see how things shake out for some of the top teams and teams that are looking to move up on the leader board. The Gold Cup is extremely important because the champions are automatically qualified for a playoff to define a team in the FIFA Confederations Cup. The United States have the opportunity to qualify directly into the 2017 Confederations Cup if they are able to bring home the Gold Cup, but if unable to win, they will have a playoff game in 2015. 6/24/15 - This week some amazing soccer took place within the US. There were some upsets and some games that ended as expected. The DC United team hit the green grass against Chicago on Wednesday night and pulled off a 1-0 win. In the 73 minute of the game, Conor Doyle slams a goal that hits the crossbar and zings into the net for the only goal of the game. One of the upsets that occurred was when Columbus beat the second ranked team in the Eastern conference, the New England Revolution. Within the first 30 seconds of the game, NE sends one into the back of the net. However, Columbus answered three minutes later with an outstanding header goal by Kamara. All tied up, Kamara is assisted a second goal during the final half of the game to win 2-1.

6/16/15 - It was an exciting weekend in Major League Soccer but one without many upsets. The top-ranked Seattle Sounders took a 3-0 victory over fifth-place FC Dallas, getting a goal each from Leo Gonzalez, Lamar Neagle, and Obafemi Martins in the win. In Eastern Conference play, New England knocked off the Chicago Fire 2-0 getting both scores in less than three minutes in the second half. The Revolution snapped a six-game winless streak with the triumph. New York City picked up a 3-1 win over the Montreal Impact on Saturday while Columbus and the L.A. Galaxy battled to a 1-1 tie. 6/9/15 - Major League Soccer has always been popular in other countries, but its popularity is continuing to rise in the United States. The current season is underway and the standings are neck and neck, especially in the western conference. The Seattle Sounders are tied with the Vancouver Whitecaps, with 26 points a piece. Close behind them is the Sporting Kansas City who isn’t going to be easy to shrug off. In the eastern conference, the D.C.
