Professional Bull Riders 2016 News and Updates
Professional Bull Rider events are like no other sporting spectacle on the face of the planet. These riders train year round to perform for fans in an intense bout of man vs. beast that only lasts for a few seconds. Professional Bull Riders has become an international event, bringing the best cowboys in the world in front of thrill-seekers far and wide. The PBR daredevils will be in Florida at the end of July, riding at the Germain Arena on July 29 and 30. Tickets for those events start at $27 and $29, respectively. After that the show heads to the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on August 19, with tickets starting as low as $38.
This week, the Professional Bull Riders series heads to Sioux Falls, SD, for the latest installment of cowboy action. You can catch your favorite riders when they head to Denny Sanford Premier Center on Friday, April 1 and stay through Sunday, April 3. Tickets to the opening show on April 1 are currently available for as little as $14, which is a steal to see these bucking broncos! If you can’t make it to the show on Friday, you can catch the cowboys in action again on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are currently available for purchase starting at $41 for Saturday and $21 on Sunday. You won’t want to miss this!
J.B. Mauney missed out on the Anaheim Invitational, but the Professional Bull Riders star wasn’t nursing an injury; it turned out to be a nasty bout of food poisoning which sidelined him. He woke up to find his vision blurry and his balance off, and after 48 surely rough hours, he was back on the road to good health. He was back in the saddle as of Friday, posting an 86.5-point performance riding on Hash Tag in his return. As the final evening of competition approaches at Sleep Train Arena, Mauney remains in second place overall. PBR competition heads to Scottrade Center in St. Louis, MO all weekend long—order your tickets today!
2/4/16 - This weekend, Professional Bull Riders competition heads to California’s capital for one last rodeo at Sleep Train Arena. Formerly known as Arco Arena and Power Balance Pavilion, Sacramento’s flagship sports arena is being retired following the conclusion of this year’s NBA season, as the resident Kings will move to the newly-constructed Golden One Center downtown. PBR action is set to go out with a bang in the old building, with 35 of the nation’s most talented bull riders on tap, all vying for the grand prize: a cool $30,000. Don’t miss your chance to catch Professional Bull Riders in Sacramento this weekend! Tickets for Saturday night are available now from $32 and up!
1/29/16 - Saturday night’s Professional Bull Riders showdown at the Honda Center in Anaheim is going to be a true barnburner. Long John, the defending World Champion Bull, is going to get an opportunity to shake off a rough week in Oklahoma City—if he can shake off Gage Gay, who is also seeking redemption after a sub-two-second ride on Brutus in OKC. Long John went up against rider J.B. Mauney last week, who held on for over 90 seconds in frustrating the champion bull, but it’ll all become a memory when that pen opens up and the clock starts running again. Get your PBR tickets today, on sale from $29 and up if you act now!
1/22/16 - One of the hottest names among Professional Bull Riders competition is a fresh face. 19-year-old Derek Kolbaba has been on a tear as of late, picking up a three-for-three win in Denver before adding to his streak with victories in Pueblo, CO and Reno, NV in the same week. For his money, Kolbaba believes this has “dang sure been [his] best start to a year” in the Walla Walla native’s young career. Now with a whopping five exceptions to his name, Derek enters the Built Ford Tough Series brimming with confidence. PBR action stops into the Honda Center in Anaheim on Friday the 29th—you can pick up tickets today from just $15!
1/7/16 - On Saturday, Jan. 9 and Sunday, Jan. 10, all the best bull riders in the country will gather in Rosemont, Illinois, at the Allstate Arena for the kickoff of the Professional Bull Riders Built Ford Tough Series. One of the competitors, Markue Mariluch, commented on what fans can expect from a bunch of cowboys in such a big city. “People will see guys getting banged up and a lot of excitement. It’s explosive,” he commented. This is not an event you want to miss, and tickets should be purchased soon in order to ensure they don’t sell out!
