New Jersey Devils News – 2013 Devils Updates

In 2012, the New Jersey Devils found themselves in the Stanley Cup Finals despite finishing 4th in the Atlantic Division. Now, the Devils are looking to reclaim the top spot of their Division from the Pittsburgh Penguins to claim their tenth Division title.

The NHL Playoffs are a familiar spot for goalie Martin Brodeur, who through his 21-year tenure with the organization has been to the playoffs every year except two. In the 2012 offseason, Brodeur who has played with the New Jersey Devils his whole career, signed a two-year deal to extend his time in Jersey. The Devils have gotten solid goaltending from him this year with a 2.27 goals-against average and .911 save percentage. On the offensive side, David Clarkson is leading the team in goals and Patrik Elias leads in points. All three Devils players will be depended on as New Jersey looks to get back to the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The New Jersey Devils are playing well at home. Like many NHL teams, Devils tickets at the Prudential Center are up 13% since last season. However, Jersey Devils tickets are $47 cheaper at home than on the road. Upcoming rivalry games on the Devils schedule: New York Rangers (3/19), New York Islanders (4/1), and Pittsburgh Penguins (4/25). Rangers-Devils tickets at the Prudential Center are averaging $171 and starting at $59. Islanders-Devils tickets are averaging $86 and starting at $25. Should New Jersey continue their winning ways, 2013 Devils playoff tickets will be available at Razorgator.
