The Canes’ season opener on 10/4 at home against the Red Wings has an average price of $105, and is their third most expensive home game. The Carolina Hurricanes signed Alexander ("Sasha") Semin in the 2012 offseason. Previously Semin had played for the Washington Capitals. His addition to the lineup with Jordan Staal has helped the Canes reach first place in the Division at various times of the 2013 season.
