Arnold Palmer Invitational 2014 News and Updates

The final stop on the famed Florida Swing Tournament circuit, the Arnold Palmer Invitational, is always one of the most exciting events to attend on the PGA tour. Set at the beautiful Bay Hill Club and Lodge, the invitational is overseen by one of the sport's most beloved players and philanthropists, the legendary Arnold Palmer. This prestigious event is one of the only "invitationals" on tour, and offers just 120 spots to elite players who compete for a $6.2 million purse. Sip on your iced tea-lemonade and join in on this impressive golf legacy with Arnold Palmer Invitational tickets today!

This year's tournament will take place March 17-23 in Orlando, and since the pool of players is considerably smaller than other tournaments, you're sure to always have a great view of golf's finest players taking their swings! An All-Week Pass is available for purchase at bargain price of $169. You can buy individual day tickets, costing $57 March 17 & 18 and $56 on March 19, 21 & 22. The cheapest API tickets of the week are $53 on March 20 & 23.

When it was founded in 1966, the tournament was initially called the Florida Citrus Open Invitational. Since Arnold Palmer took ownership of the resort in the mid-70s, the event has grown into one of the most-watched tournaments in the sport. So far, the world’s No.1 and two-time defending Arnold Palmer Invitational Champion, Tiger Woods, will return alongside reigning Masters Champion Adam Scott and reigning US Open Champion Justin Rose to the grounds in 2014. Woods has won eight times (sharing the record with Sam Snead) at the API, and is a heavy favorite heading into the 36th event, with hopes of securing an unprecedented nine wins.
