A fortified defense definitely has fans excited about 2016. The Falcons upgraded their pass-rush options, adding free agents O’Brien Schofield and Adrian Clayborn to go along with their No. 8 overall draft pick, Clemson alumni Vic Beasley. Atlanta Falcons News and Updates
With OTAs getting started this week for the Atlanta Falcons, fans are finally getting a look at brand new recruits such as Mohamed Sanu and Sean Witherspoon. The limited practices are crucial in helping the team finalize its lineups and prepare for the upcoming football season. Although Falcons fans are mostly focused on what’s happening at training camp, one small distraction did occur this week when the NFL announced that Atlanta has been chosen to host the 2019 Superbowl! With lots to look forward to this season and in the coming years, Falcons fans are happy. Their home opener will take place Thursday, Aug. 11, against the Redskins. You can purchase tickets now for as little as $5.
It is no secret that the Atlanta Falcons have been struggling lately, but they may be about to turn it all around. While they do still have a shot at the post season, most fans have given up hope. Before December 20th, the Falcons had lost six consecutive matches, ending with a disappointing home game against the Carolina Panthers where the Falcons completely failed to score. However, their losing streak met its end during their final away game of the regular season. The Falcons beat out the Jacksonville Jaguars with 23-17. With only two home games remaining, this last-minute burst of momentum may be enough for the Falcons to finish with an awesome three-game winning streak.
12/14/15 - The Atlanta Falcons haven’t had a terrible season, but it hasn’t been great either. With a 6-7 losing record, the Falcons had to face some hard facts this week regarding the chances of making it to the playoffs. The likelihood of the Falcons making it to postseason play is incredibly slim. At the beginning of the season, you would have never guessed that the Falcons would be in this situation because of their 5-0 winning record. However, they have suffered from a lot of dropped passes, turnovers, and unnecessary penalties throughout the season that have kept the victories at bay. See what they can do on December 20 when they face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
12/7/15 - The Atlanta Falcons do not have the opportunity to catch up to the undefeated Carolina Panthers in their division, but the race for second place is still close. The Falcons and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are currently tied, both with six wins and six losses. Unfortunately, the Falcons are currently on a losing streak. If they want to finish the season ahead of the Buccaneers, they are going to have to pick themselves up soon. There are only four remaining games in the season for the Falcons, but three of them are home games, so they definitely have the advantage. They face the Panthers on December 27th. Tickets start at $114.
11/30/15 - It’s been a rough ride for the Atlanta Falcons these last couple weeks, and their current slump extended last Sunday with a 20-10 loss against the Minnesota Vikings. Quarterback Matt Ryan especially seemed to have trouble; with the two interceptions he threw in the game, he now has 13 total turnovers this season. Despite the errors, he is optimistic about the coming weeks. About ending the slump he stated, “I’m hell-bent on doing everything that I can to sure that happens this week.” With just five games remaining before the regular season ends, let’s hope he and the rest of the Falcons can turn things around. They are up against the Buccaneers in Tampa this Sunday, Dec. 6.
11/23/15 - Three straight heartbreaking losses have dropped the Atlanta Falcons to a 6-4 mark in 2015. The respectable record would be competitive in half of the NFL’s divisions today, but the Falcons have the misfortune of playing in the same group as the league’s only 10-0 team in the Carolina Panthers. It was the Colts who handed ATL their most recent defeat, a 24-21 decision on a last-minute tie-breaking field goal from Adam Vinatieri. The Falcons will take on the Vikings this Sunday as they attempt to stay in the playoff hunt this season. Get your tickets for the Georgia Dome, on sale now! Seats start at $24 if you act quickly!
11/16/15 - Despite having some of the hottest players in the league on their team, the Atlanta Falcons have looked anything but sharp in recent games. Quarterback Matt Ryan has led his team to back-to-back losses in the last two weeks, although both games were decided in just three points or less. The Falcons are fortunate to have a star running back in Devonta Freeman, who always makes an impact even when the rest of his team struggles. Atlanta has a tough matchup this weekend in the Indianapolis Colts, who are starting to heat up after a slow start to the season. This is just one of a few home games left, so come support the Falcons!
11/9/15 - The Atlanta Falcons are on bye this week after falling to the San Francisco 49ers 16 – 17 on the road last weekend. It was the second loss in a row for quarterback Matt Ryan, running back Devonta Freeman, wide receiver Julio Jones, and the rest of the Falcons who are currently second in the NFC Southern Division with a 6 – 3 record. They have a rough road ahead of them, however, as the red-hot Indianapolis Colts and Minnesota Vikings are both due to pay a visit in the next two weeks. Tickets to next Sunday’s matchup against Andrew Luck and the Colts are widely available and currently start at $17.
11/2/15 - The Atlanta Falcons are sitting pretty this season, with six wins and two losses. This winning record puts the Falcons in second place behind the undefeated South Carolina Panthers, in the NFC South Division. Unfortunately, the Falcons suffered one of their two losses last week when they stormed the field against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The score was tight the entire game and led the two teams into overtime play. Thanks to a successful field goal attempt made by the Buccaneers in overtime, the Falcons left their home turf with a disappointing loss. See if they can recover when they take on the San Francisco 49ers on November 8. Tickets are still available to purchase.
10/26/15 - Even though the Saints put a halt to their undefeated start to 2015, the Atlanta Falcons are flying high and feeling good after Week 7. They scratched out a 10-7 win over the defensive-minded Titans in a low-scoring affair, jumping to 6-1 including 3-1 away from home. Matt Ryan threw for 251 yards in the outing, connecting with Julio Jones for the go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter. The defeat dropped Tennessee to a lowly 1-5 mark while allowing ATL to keep pace with Cam Newton and the surprising Carolina Panthers. The Falcons head back to the Georgia Dome this weekend to host Jameis Winston’s Tampa Bay Bucs. Get your tickets from $34 and up!
10/19/15 - The Atlanta Falcons finally received their first loss of the season. It is disappointing, but it had to happen eventually. It is just impressive that the Falcons were able to remain undefeated for so long. It was the New Orleans Saints that were finally able to beat out the Falcons with a close game ending 21-31. Up next, they will be travelling to Tennessee to play the Titans before finally returning to Atlanta on November 1st. Tickets for their homecoming match against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still available starting at $33. With only five home games remaining in the regular season, don’t miss this chance to see the Falcons in action.
10/14/15 - Along with the Packers, the Atlanta Falcons remain one of the NFC’s only undefeated teams in 2015. They climbed to a perfect 5-0 record with their defeat of Washington this past weekend, a 25-19 victory at the Georgia Dome. Matt Ryan had a fine afternoon for ATL, totaling 254 yards and a pair of TD passes. Devonta Freeman was a force rushing the football, running for 153 yards and a touchdown of his own. The Falcons will try to stay spotless this Thursday evening, when they visit the New Orleans Saints. You can secure your tickets for the Superdome today starting at just $43, but act now—they’re going quickly!
10/5/15 - A spotless 4-0 record has the Atlanta Falcons hovering atop the NFC South, tied with Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers for tops in the conference through the first month of 2015 NFL action. ATL clobbered the Texans at home for their fourth win this year, 48-21. Matt Ryan threw for 256 yards on 19-27 passing, connecting with Leonard Hankerson for a TD late in the second quarter to put Atlanta on top 28-0. The Falcons’ lead ballooned to 42-0 after three quarters, and the final score was competitive thanks to three touchdowns in a Houston rally that was too little, too late. Get your tickets for Washington at Atlanta this Sunday, starting at $51!
9/28/15 - The Atlanta Falcons are seemingly unstoppable. They had their third match, against the Dallas Cowboys, this week, and the Falcons took another win. Along with six other teams, the Falcons are currently undefeated. Unlike most of those other teams, however, the majority of their games so far have been on away fields. The Falcons are certainly playing well so far this season. Be sure to come out and show your support as they return to their home field. How long will they be able to hold out before suffering their first defeat? Tickets for their next game, which is on October 4th against the Houston Texans, start as low as $33.
9/21/15 - The Atlanta Falcons have a good start to the season with two victories, including their most recent game against the Giants. It was a close game, with the Falcons getting on the board first with a touchdown in the first quarter. However, the game was soon in the Giants' favor after they had two touchdowns with just one extra point, and the Falcons were only able to score a field goal. When the Giants scored a touchdown in the third quarter, it seemed as though the game might go their way. However, the Falcons were able to score two touchdowns in the fourth to win the game 24-20. Julio Jones had 13 receptions for 135 yards to tie the club record. The Falcons face the Cowboys on September 27, and you can still get tickets for just $14.
9/14/15 - The Atlanta Falcons finally had their official season opener, and it was a close one. Fans knew it would be exciting when they found out the Philadelphia Eagles would be Atlanta's opponent. The Falcons pulled ahead slightly at the beginning, but they really built up an impressive lead in the second quarter, scoring 17 points total. Unfortunately, they were unable to score again in the third quarter, so the Falcons only held a three point lead. They managed to hold on to that lead, however, and the final score came to 24-26. The Falcons' next home game isn't until October 4th when they host the Houston Texans, so be sure to get your tickets early. You can still secure your spot in the stands for as little as $32.
9/7/15 - The Atlanta Falcons are preparing for the official start of the NFL season, which for them begins on Monday, September 14 when they host the Eagles. This will be the first season for new coach Dan Quinn, who is working hard to revamp the team after a few lackluster seasons. They also brought in Andy Levitre on September 4 in a trade with Tennessee, and he is expected to be ready to play for the first game. After finalizing the team's official roster last weekend, the Falcons have also ensured they have a strong practice squad. They recently signed guard Ben Garland to their practice squad, who most recently played with the Broncos. Fans still have a chance to get tickets to see the home opener in person, with prices starting at $53.
8/31/15 - The time for roster cutting is upon the NFL, and the Atlanta Falcons have gotten their roster down to the 75-player limit. They made a round of cuts to get down to 76, and then made the final cut when they were able to reach an injury settlement with Peter Konz. Konz injured his knee last season and underwent surgery. This was his final year in his contract. There will be one more round of cuts this week, as they have to reach 53 players by Saturday. The team plays its final preseason game on Thursday, September 3rd against the Ravens, and then they host the Eagles for their first regular season game on the 14th. You can still get your tickets to see the Falcons play in person, with prices starting at just $2.
8/24/15 - Although they looked sharp in their preseason opener, the Atlanta Falcons didn’t fare quite as well against the Jets in their second outing. ATL fell 30-22 despite another strong performance from Matt Ryan, who completed four of five passes for 75 yards with a TD pass to Leonard Hankerson and a 60-yard bomb to Collin Mooney. The Falcons jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and added eight more in the fourth, but New York did all the scoring in the middle to drop Atlanta to 1-1 in warm-up games. Next up on the schedule is the Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, and you can get your tickets today! Come out on Saturday for all the action starting at just $16!
8/17/15 - The Atlanta Falcons are off to a good start. They had their first matchup of the preseason and came out victorious. The Falcons hosted the Tennessee Titans on August 14th and won 14-31. If you were not able to attend, do not fret. The Falcons will be having one more home game in a couple weeks. If you cannot wait for the season to kick off, be sure to attend this final home preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens on September 3rd. In the meantime, the Falcons will be playing the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins in two away games. Be sure to keep your eye on the team to see how they fare against the competition. The official season will begin on September 14th.
8/3/15 - The Atlanta Falcons Training Camp is underway. Rookie Tevin Coleman, who has been battling it out with Devonta Freeman for the starting spot at running back, has had to sit out due to a hamstring strain. This gave the chance for Freeman to shine, and Terran Ward also got a chance to impress. It is unclear how long he will be out, but coach Dan Quinn has expressed his hope that it will not be long. The team is still working out some kinks, including moving around the offensive line. In another roster battle, it appears as though Ricardo Allen may earn the free safety job over Charles Godfrey. You can still get tickets as low as $4 for the 2015 season, including the first game on the 14th against the Titans.
7/27/15 - In the NFL game there are always injuries and even the best and brightest players are not exempt from suffering from them. The Atlanta Falcons superstar, Roddy White made news this week regarding the condition of his left knee. The receiver has decided to have his knee drained prior to starting a minicamp; however White is not worried about the joint causing him problems during the season. White does have the option of going under the knife to shave off some of his rippled cartilage, but he has chosen to stick with the outpatient approach. The receiver believes that he can still play at an extremely high level when his 11th NFL season begins in August. Watch White and the rest of the Falcons hit the field starting mid August.
7/16/15 - The Atlanta Falcons have yet to negotiate an extension on the contract with Julio Jones, but after Dez Bryant and the Dallas Cowboys have come up with a deal, experts have started to speculate what Jones' deal may look like. Although there has not been much progress, many believe the contract will be done before training camp begins on July 31. While waiting for the Training Camp to start, many are choosing what players to watch during the camp. Akeem King, Micky Shuler, Colin Mooney, Joey Mbu, and Jonathon Mincy have been signaled as five players who may surprise the audience through impressive work during camp. Although the team may have to wait until July 31 to play any football, you don't have to wait to buy tickets for the 2015 season, with prices starting at $3.
5/7/15 - The Atlanta Falcons are well known for their lousy play on the field, but many speculate that that is all changing in 2015. First things first, the team has a new coach, Dan Quinn. Ending the season last has its perks. The Falcons have had an impressive draft so far, and their team is really coming together, especially on defense, which is where the Falcons lacked most. Plus, they have luck on their side. They drew the best possible schedule of games, playing the least number of 2014 playoff teams the least number of times possible. The season is just a few short months away, and the Falcons are all set to surprise the entire league and make a huge comeback. They may even go all the way to the playoffs.
4/21/15 - For the first time in 10 years, the Atlanta Falcons will open the regular season at home on a Monday night, taking on the Philadelphia Eagles. Philly is entering into another year under the guidance of innovative offense-minded head coach Chip Kelly, who recently signed the enigmatic Tim Tebow for a new option at the quarterback position. The Falcons defeated Philadelphia in their 2005 home opener and will hope for a similar outcome in 2015. Other notable contests include the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3, the San Francisco 49ers in Week 9, and Andrew Luck’s Colts following a Week 10 bye. Tickets are on sale now for the 2015 season—secure your seats at the George Dome to be a part of the excitement of live NFL action!
12/23/14 - With a 6-9 record, the Atlanta Falcons still have a chance to make it in the playoffs for a run to the Super Bowl. It seems incredulous, but if the Falcons beat the Carolina Panthers in this Sunday’s game, they take the division title. Lose, and the Panthers take the title. The Georgia Dome will be hopping on December 28 when the Falcons go all out. Make sure you note the later start for the game. Originally scheduled for 1:00, now the game has a 4:25 pm start time. This winner-take-all game will be a hot fight to the finish, so come out and scream and holler for your Atlanta football team. It’s going to be a great game for fans of both teams, but Atlanta has the home field advantage.
12/15/14 - The 5-9 Atlanta Falcons dropped their second straight last Sunday, falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers
27 – 20 in week 14 of the NFL season. Atlanta came back to within seven points in the fourth quarter, but the Steelers held on by running out the clock in the final 4 ½ minutes. Incredibly, the Falcons can still qualify for the playoffs as division champs by winning their final two games of the season. Both games are against division foes and are must-wins. First up is a road game at the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Dec. 21, then a home contest on Sunday Dec. 28. Take a drive to the Big Easy to cheer on the Falcons on the road, or make some noise at the home finale as your Falcons strive to make the playoffs. Tickets are available for both games, and start at only $38!
12/8/14 - The scrappy Atlanta Falcons team took on the Green Bay Packers last Monday. They were hoping to upset them, but they ended up suffering defeat with a final score of 37-43. It wasn’t for a lack of trying, though. In their loss, Matt Ryan went on to throw for 375 yards and had an incredible 3 touchdown passes. Julio Jones, their star receiver, also had a stellar game, getting 259 receiving yards with 1 touchdown. He simply couldn’t be stopped, and it was one of his better games this season. His efforts were not enough, though, but all is not lost. They are still first in their division. Up next for them is a game against the Pittsburg Steelers. Tickets for the game can be bought now for a $133.
12/1/14 - After a relatively slow start to the season, the Atlanta Falcons now sit in a statistical tie atop the NFC South standings thanks to a run of three victories in the last four games. Most recently, Matt Ryan and company dealt a 29-18 defeat to the NFC West-leading Arizona Cardinals in the Georgia Dome. Next up for the Dirty Birds is a trip to the “Frozen Tundra” of Lambeau Field for a date with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers for Monday Night Football on December 8. If you’re interested in visiting this historic football cathedral, tickets are available starting at $52. Looking ahead, the Falcons return home to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 14 (tickets from $104), head to the Superdome to take on the Saints on December 21 (tickets from $91), and finish the season at home against the Carolina Panthers on December 28 (tickets from $34).
11/26/14 - The Atlanta Falcons have not had the best season this year. However, in their last game, they showed some promise, beating the Carolina Panthers 19-17. It was a close game for the entire game, but the Falcons did just enough at the end to pull away. A huge reason for their success was because of Matt Ryan. He went on to throw for 268 yards with 1 touchdown. He didn’t’ have any turnovers in the game, which has killed the Falcons in the past this season. If they want to build towards next year, their defense will need to pick it up. Their next outing is against the Cleveland Browns, a game that is going to be close and exciting for the fans. Tickets can be bought now for $38.
11/19/14 - Following a close win in Carolina, the Atlanta Falcons head home to face off against the Cleveland Browns. Currently tied with New Orleans for the lead of the NFC South, a win against Cleveland is a must. Atlanta, current division leader, will face the lowest ranking team in the AFC North, but the cards do fall in favor of the Falcons. Still in the running for the playoffs, an improvement in the effectiveness of their defense could allow Atlanta to move away from their struggle with the Saints and increase their chances of seeing the playoff season despite a frustrating regular season. Razorgator has the best seats available starting at $24 each. With fan support, the Atlanta Falcons may be able to face the Cardinals the following week with much-needed adrenaline rush.
11/10/14 - As the Atlanta Falcons prepare for their game against the Panthers, fans at home are hoping to add another mark their long-awaited winning streak. With a challenging season so far, the Falcons have struggled to get their footing, but a home game against the Cleveland Browns could be just what the doctor ordered to turn this season around. Battling for control of the NFC South, it’s still too soon to count Atlanta out of the playoffs, but the confidence of home fans is crucial. As the Atlanta Falcons battle their division rivals, the Carolina Panthers, and then return home for what will be a very important game against Cleveland, fan support is sure to go a long way in the Georgia Dome on Sunday. Fans can still ensure their piece of the action with ticket prices starting at just $29.
11/3/14 - The Atlanta Falcons had a bye this last week to reflect on their loss to the Detroit Lions on October 26, and come up with a new game plan for Sunday. The Falcons have struggled to come up with a win since mid-September thanks to an ever-changing offense plagued with injuries. They now stand at 2-7 for the season and are gearing to take on Tampa Bay on November 9. Their lineup still appears to be somewhat uncertain, as players like Drew Davis, Antone Smith, and Jonathan Babineaux are slated to practice, but still recovering from injuries. The Falcons will not be back in Atlanta until November 23, when they take on the Cleveland Browns. Tickets are still available for that game starting at an affordable $29.
10/27/14 - After another loss for the Atlanta Falcons to Detroit, making their record 2-6, they take a week off before facing the Buccaneers on November 9. The game against the Lions was especially tough, as the Falcons led by 21 going into halftime. However, Arthur Blank has confidence in the coach and general manager to turn the losing streak around. Mike Smith, the Falcons head coach believes that the team can come back during the second half of the season. During their bye week, the team hopes to turn things around with a team film session and letting the coaching staff evaluate the offense, defense, and special teams before they reconvene for practice. Smith is confident in the team and the coaching staff’s abilities to bring wins back to their fans.
10/20/14 – The Falcons will look to bounce back in London against the Detroit Tigers after losing four straight. Considered a home game, Atlanta Falcons tickets are averaging $319 for the meeting at Wembley Stadium. Fans won’t see their Falcons at their true home until November 23 when the Cleveland Browns get to the Georgia Dome (min. $39).
10/15/14 – Atlanta is looking to get back to .500 after losing three straight of late. The Falcons will need to put up some big numbers on the road at M&T Bank Stadium against the Baltimore Ravens if they anticipate picking up their third win of the season. In the sixth most expensive game of the Week, expect a lot of throwing yards from Atlanta and a good amount of rushing from the Ravens.
10/10/14 - After a heartbreaking 30-20 loss to the New York Giants in Week 5, the Atlanta Falcons are now 2-3. The Falcons had a 10 point lead at the half, but after failed coverage on defense, a collapsing offensive line, and botched fumble recoveries, the game was lost in the second half. On road games, Atlanta is now 0-3. However, the NFC South division is weak, and despite the loss, the Falcons are now tied with the New Orleans Saints in that division, both behind the Carolina Panthers. Next, the Falcons return to the Georgia Dome to play the Chicago Bears. The Bears are also 2-3 after Week 5, and both teams will be playing hard to even out their win-loss ratio. Tickets are still available for Sunday’s game, with prices starting at $72 per ticket.
10/3/14 - The Atlanta Falcons will head to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Giants. While Atlanta’s offense has performed well so far, the Falcons defense that has been the issue all year long, as they allowed 34 points to the Saints in Week 1 and the only time they looked remotely competent was at home against a bad Buccaneers squad. The Giants offense has been clicking the past few weeks, which could be trouble for the Falcons. According to RazorGator, Giants vs Falcons tickets will be the most expensive road game of the season for Atlanta.
9/26/14 - With a solid defense backed by an offense of fear, the Atlanta Falcons will not go down without a fight on Sunday, Sept. 28th against the Minnesota Vikings. Watch history be made at TCF Bank Stadium.
9/24/14 - When the Atlanta Falcons head north to play the Minnesota Vikings at TCF Bank Stadium on Sunday it will be against rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater who will be making his first career NFL start. Bridgewater, the Vikings first round pick, will have a tough task in front of him if he hopes to match Matty Ice and the rest of an explosive Atlanta offense which put up 56 points last week. Atlanta Falcons tickets are averaging $109.
9/22/14 - This week the Atlanta Falcons will play in an unfamiliar setting, TCF Bank Stadium, the temporary home of the Minnesota Vikings while construction of their new stadium is underway. The Falcons are fortunate that this game is early in the season as TCF Bank is open to the elements which could spell disaster in the frigid Minnesota climate for a dome team such as Atlanta. Falcons tickets will be going for $111 on average for this contest with the Vikings and rookie QB Teddy Bridgewater according to Razorgator.
9/16/14 - Just one week removed from the offensive explosion Atlanta demonstrated over New Orleans, the Dirty Birds faltered in Week 2. Coming off the best game Matt Ryan’s career (a.k.a. Top Fantasy Football QB of Week 1), the Falcons lost their first game of 2014 to the Cincinnati Bengals, 10-24. The Falcons look to bounce back this week, when they face a less stifling defense in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Atlanta Falcons tickets for this Thursday Night Football game start at an affordable $14 minimum. Be there on 9/18 when the Dirty Birds take flight in the Georgia Dome.
9/8/14 - Atlanta made a huge statement on Sunday. Their exciting win at Mercedes Benz Superdome, home of division rivals the New Orleans Saints, sent a message to the rest of the league that these Falcons have the makings of an NFC powerhouse in 2014. Mike Smith’s offense gave Drew Brees and Co. a taste of their own medicine, as Matt Ryan became the franchise's all-time leader in touchdown passes, and set the record for total passing yards in one game (448). The running backs, wide receivers, and kicker Matt Bryant all attributed to the tremendous Week 1 victory—see the team back at it again in Week 2! 7/30/14 - This season the Atlanta Falcons are hoping for better injury luck than last year. The team was struck hard, and finished as one of the worst teams in the league, after winning at least nine games in every other season of Matt Ryan’s career. They’re road starts out soon with a preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, which is averaging $222 according to RazorGator.
7/23/14 - The rookies have already reported for the beginning of training camp as the Atlanta Falcons prepare for a bounce back season after having one of the worst records in the league a year ago. They will open with the New Orleans Saints but Atlanta Falcons tickets are most expensive for their matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers which is averaging $222 according to RazorGator.
7/17/14 - Playing their home games in the Georgia Dome has some advantages to it for the Atlanta Falcons who hope to bounce back in 2014 with a retooled defense and offensive line. This year the Falcons will have one less game there than normal as they been selected to play a game in London at Wembley Stadium against the Detroit Lions which according to RazorGator has seen Atlanta Falcons tickets go for $378 on average.
7/10/14 - Atlanta will open the season with the arduous task of having to take down the explosive offense of the New Orleans Saints in Week 1. Luckily for the Falcons they will be at home in this contest thats averaging $205 for Atlanta Falcons tickets which, according to RazorGator, is their third most expensive game of the year.
7/8/14 - 2013 was a year of great expectations for the Atlanta Falcons coming off a near Super Bowl berth, only to lose in the final minutes to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game. Things didn’t quite go as planned as the Falcons had a very poor season losing 12 games en route to finishing last in their division. As a result Atlanta Falcons tickets for the upcoming season are on the more reasonable side of the NFL ticket spectrum according to RazorGator as they are averaging only $150 for the season.
7/7/14 – The Atlanta Falcons recently released a trailer for their upcoming Hard Knocks show, effectively getting everyone amped for training camp and the 2014 season. A player that fans will miss out on is wide receiver Drew Davis due to reparative foot surgery that will take him out for the next six weeks—better to be sidelined through preseason rather than when the record starts counting! The Falcons are known for debuting highly successful practice squad players, among Brent Grimes and Ryan Schrader, but who will it be this time around? Score Atlanta Falcons tickets for an incredibly low $1 minimum for their Aug 8 exhibition game against the Miami Dolphins to find out.
7/1/14 – In case you had any doubts as to what kind of offensive scheme the Atlanta Falcons will play this year, allow OL coach Mike Trice to put it succinctly: “We’re not going to be a run-first football team by any means.” Why, you ask? Because “with those two great receivers and that great quarterback.” Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Roddy White will push to give defenses a rough time as Atlanta’s trifecta, but the Falcons are still looking to buff up their run game, as emphasized by offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter. Our nation’s birthday may be coming up this Friday, but did you know that the Atlanta Falcons franchise turned 49 years old today? 6/24/14 – The rough and ready Atlanta Falcons are currently enjoying summer break, before they get back on their grind with the start of training camp, July 25. On the final day of minicamp last week, linebacker Akeem Dent was suddenly traded in exchange for Houston Texans’ back-up quarterback TJ Yates. This move comes as a surprise, as the injury to Sean Weatherspoon rendered Dent the only linebacker on roster with two-plus years of pro experience. You are invited to the a handful of open-to-the-public practices, but score your Atlanta Falcons tickets now and see the Dirty Birds when the pads really come on in August!
6/17/14 – The Atlanta Falcons started three days of mandatory minicamp today and welcomed back one half of their wide receiver duo. Roddy White was happy to return to his “football family” and “he looked great” during OTAs, according to head coach Mike Smith. Julio Jones, on the other hand, is still busy rehabbing his fractured foot and no timeline is available for the star’s return. This year, you don’t just have to buy Atlanta Falcons tickets to stay posted on the squad, because your Dirty Birds volunteered for the star spot on HBO”s hit reality series Hard Knocks. Now you can see just what it takes during the offseason to achieve a successful season campaign!
6/10/24- The Atlanta Falcons suffered gravely on offense last year per injuries to Roddy White and Julio Jones. Fans can’t deny the elite play Atlanta showed two years ago, and with the return of these two stars, plus a number of free agent signings, who’s to say they can’t get back to their winning form now? Matt Ryan will enter his seventh season with the Falcons, looking to bounce back from a second-worst career year, and now he’ll have two weapons back. Wide receiver Julio Jones has been in OTAs easing out of recovery from foot surgery, while Roddy White’s return is expected after the player mourns the death of his younger brother. Buy your Atlanta Falcons tickets now and be in the stands when this team lights up the field in 2014!
6/2/14 - Atlanta Falcons' owner Arthur Blank is optimistic about two things: one that will make fans jump for joy, and another that may leave fans a bit skeptical. The Falcons will play one of their "home" games across the pond in London this year (Oct 26, Falcons vs. Lions) and Blank stated he thinks a franchise will be placed in both Los Angeles and in London within the next few years! He explains the NFL is progressing and revenue for both cities is undeniable. For now, see how this optimistic owner fairs per his own team with 2014 Atlanta Falcons tickets!
5/27/14 - The Atlanta Falcons have kicked off OTAs today! Out of the nine players drafted in 2014, just one rookie remains without a contract. Third-rounder Dez Southward (Wisconsin, safety) is still in the midst of negotiations that should wrap up later this week. 5/19/14 - With rookie camp over, the Atlanta Falcons have made some further commitments to bolster their defense. The franchise has signed four linebackers (Prince Shembo, Yawin Smallwood, Marquis Spruill, Tyler Starr) and one cornerback (Ricardo Allen). The news of Roddy White's family tragedy (murder of his younger brother) has shaken the close Falcons organization; teammates and coaches have all gathered around the star receiver in support. Next week, these returning veterans and new free agents will start workouts and mix-in with the eager rookies. Summer camp marks the return of football, be an early bird and score your Atlanta Falcons tickets now!
5/12/14 - The Atlanta Falcons made sure to address pressing needs with their nine 2014 Draft picks, most notably with No. 6 overall Jake Matthews—the sixth member of his family to be drafted in the NFL. The offensive tackle bolsters the franchises' offseason initiative of getting stronger up front to further protect Matt Ryan (the league's most-pressured quarterback in 2013). The team underachieved last year, but score Atlanta Falcons tickets in 2014 and watch the re-vamped squad soar!
4/16/14 - The Falcons will open their 2014 preseason against the Miami Dolphins at the Georgia Dome. This will be the two squads' 12th time meeting in the preseason, and they're at a stalemate: each team has won six games. The Falcons will then take on an entirely new preseason opponent, the Houston Texans, in Week 2 (Aug 14-18) where they will try to spoil the NFL's No. 1 overall draft pick in his first home opener. Atlanta will look to break another series tie when they host the Tennessee Titans (3 victories apiece) in Week 3. Their preseason will conclude on Aug 28, when the Falcons face the Jaguars at Jacksonville. Score Atlanta Falcons tickets this summer and see fresh faces like Paul Soliai, Jon Asamoah and, of course, their 6th overall pick!
2/11/14 – The 2014 Atlanta Falcons’ schedule is eleventh toughest in the league and is highlighted by a game in London, mid-season against the Detroit Lions. After a disappointing 4-12 season last year, the Falcons look forward to their star WR Julio Jones returning to the lineup. Head Coach Mike Smith expects the former sixth overall pick to return this Spring after undergoing foot surgery five games into the season. Up to that point, Jones had 41 catches for 580 yard and two TDs; his return will certainly boost the offense, giving QB Matt Ryan a legitimate target down field.
The Atlanta Falcons will once again open the regular season against NFC South rivals New Orleans Saints Sept. 7, this time at the Georgia Dome. On Oct 12, Devin Hester will face his former team when the Chicago Bears visit Atlanta in Week 6. They’ll fly to London to take on the Detroit Tigers in a “home” game Oct 26; the Internal Series is the first overseas regular-season tilt for both franchises. Following their bye the next week, Atlanta has two road contests against NFC South foes Tampa Bay and Carolina. It doesn’t get much easier as the Falcons have a tough stretch down the season including matchups against: Arizona, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, New Orleans, and Carolina. Atlanta Falcons tickets are averaging $184, 14 percent more than last year at this time.
12/16/13 - The Atlanta Falcons edged out the Washington Redskins in the Georgia Dome on Sunday, 27-26. Atlanta’s young defense kept getting their hands on the ball as they trounced RG3’s replacement, Kirk Cousins, on his critical final drive, shutting down a potential game-winning two-point conversion attempt. On the other side of the ball, treasured tight end Tony Gonzalez became the fifth player in NFL history with over 15,000 receiving yards. The Falcons are on the road, pitted against the fiery 49ers, for their last-ever home game at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. 12/9/13- In one of the colder games of the weekend, the Atlanta Falcons suffered bitter defeat when they fell to the Green Bay Packers shy just one point (21-22). Though Atlanta held the lead at halftime, they were shut out in the second half of the game and allowed 12 unanswered points. The Falcon’s loss helped keep Green Bay’s season alive, but virtually ended theirs, after kicker Matt Bryant missed a tough 52-yard field goal against the wind and light snowfall, and later, Tony Gonzalez dropped a short pass from Matt Ryan to seal the loss. Atlanta Falcons tickets for next Sunday’s game against the doomed Washington Redskins start at $28 and average at $107.
12/2/13 - The Atlanta Falcons are on the road to improvement, after scooting past the Buffalo Bills, 34-31 on Sunday in overtime. The Falcons successfully snapped their five game losing streak all the way up in Toronto, Ontario for the Bills’ annual Canadian home-game. The Falcons maximized on Buffalo’s mistakes, erasing a 14-point deficit, while safety William Moore helped take away the ball on the Bills’ final two possessions, getting Atlanta into field goal position for Matt Bryant to kick the game-winning score. Watch the ATL put the heat on the Green Bay Packers, who may see the return of Aaron Rodgers in the face off. Atlanta Falcons tickets are a moderate $34 on average.
11/25/13 - The Atlanta Falcons fell to the New Orleans Saints on Thursday (13-17), locking in their first losing season since 2007. The Falcons were expected to take their division, coming off last season when they took the title in the NFC South (ahead 6 games). But this Sunday, Atlanta sealed their fate when the offense failed to clinch a game changing score in their third quarter rally, while the defense proved ineffective against Brees. Now, the Falcons will take things one week at a time; next Sunday they are pitted against the Buffalo Bills. Tickets are $144 on average.
11/18/13- The Atlanta Falcons are hanging by a thread, with their fourth straight loss, this time to the low-caliber Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 28-41. The Falcons allowed 4th string running back, Bobby Rainey, another breakout game, with two rushing and one passing touchdown. With playoff chances shot, the Falcons can hope to win their remaining games and finish the season out at .500. The squad is on a short week, and will face off against the New Orleans Saints for Thursday Night Football. Atlanta Falcons tickets are a moderate $24 to get in and $111 on average.
11/11/13 - The Atlanta Falcons were routed in the Georgia Dome by the Seattle Seahawks, falling 33-10 on Sunday. In their sixth loss in seven games, Falcons were again shutdown by a stalwart defense: Matt Ryan was only able to throw for 172 yards passing and the return of Roddy White proved insufficient in jumpstarting Atlanta's offense. The Falcons are now looking forward to their next match, when they travel to Tampa to play the winless Buccaneers, one of the two teams they beat earlier this season. Atlanta Falcons tickets are just $14 to get in, and a reasonable $62 on average.
11/4/13 - The Atlanta Falcons were blown-out by the Carolina Panthers yesterday, losing 10-34. Carolina forced 4 turnovers and Matt Ryan threw three interceptions (7 turnovers in the last two games), leaving his team smoked by Cam Newton and the Panthers’ fourth straight win. The squad, decimated by injuries, was playing without primary options Julio Jones and Roddy White, and things are looking grimmer next week. The Falcons are pitted against the Seattle Seahawks, who are looking to play a clean game after their overtime victory yesterday. Atlanta Falcons tickets are just $30 to get in.
10/28/13 - The Falcons were unable to clinch another victory, and have fallen 2-5 following Sunday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals (13-27). Atlanta’s defense from last Sunday’s Buccaneers rout was deemed ineffective yesterday, allowing Andre Ellington 154 rushing yards and Carson Palmer nearly 200 passing. Likewise the Falcons’ offense fell apart: Matt Ryan threw four interceptions in the second half alone, and Steven Jackson was unable to make a statement comeback off of his hamstring injury, essentially nonexistent in the running game. The Falcons will look for a win on the road against the hot Carolina Panthers and Cam Newton. Atlanta Falcons tickets were the second cheapest of last week, but for Week 9, they boast one of the highest get-in prices at $59.
10/21/13 - The Atlanta Falcons have come out of their bye week with a successful rout of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday to end their three game losing streak, 31-23. Without Roddy White and Julio Jones, other players stepped up to nab the victory; most notably, Harry Douglas who had seven receptions for his best game yet (149 yards and a 37-yard touchdown catch), while Matt Ryan had a great game at 20- 26 passes for 273 yards and no interceptions, and Jacquizz Rodgers completed two TD passes. The Falcons are looking for their next win when they travel to Arizona to play the Cardinals, but they will have to rev up their running game and hope that Steven Jackson will come back off his hamstring injury, a player who cost the Falcons a lot of money, but will improve their offensive game where they need it upon his return. Atlanta Falcons tickets for their next match up in Arizona are just $68 on average, the second cheapest seats of the week.
10/14/13 - The Atlanta Falcons will be coming off their bye week to face the Buccaneers next Sunday. Their bye could not have come at a better time and may be what the Falcons need to rehab and reestablish their offense, who have now lost two crucial playmakers: Julio Jones (second in receiving yards in the NFL) to a season-ending foot injury and Roddy White to a hamstring injury for a number of games. With a 1-4 record on the season, the Falcons will be looking to improve their standing while hosting the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This game will offer a crucial victory as the Falcons now have the opportunity for upward movement in the NFC South following the New Orleans Saint’s loss to the New England Patriots in Week 6. Atlanta Falcons tickets this Sunday at the Georgia Dome average $78 and $15 at the lowest.
10/8/13 - The Atlanta Falcons have accumulated their third consecutive loss, after the Birds could not restrain the New York Jets’ 30-28 comeback in last night’s game. Jets’ quarterback, Geno Smith maintained his composure for a game-winning drive that set up a 43-yard field goal in the final play of the game. Atlanta is now sitting 1-4—their longest losing streak since 2007. Wide receiver Julio Jones, who almost surpassed 100-yards in 4 successive games, and quarterback Matt Ryan played well, throwing for 319 yards, zero interceptions and two touchdown passes, but the offense was certainly stunned by rookie Geno Smith and the Jets’ defense. The Atlanta Falcons are looking to regroup as they come into their bye week, and will get ready to play the undefeated New Orleans Saints in Week 7.
9/30/13 - The Atlanta Falcons were ousted by Tom Brady and company Sunday night, losing to the Patriots 30-23 despite their fourth quarter rally and home field advantage. The Patriots shot down Matt Ryan’s fourth-down pass to Roddy White with 36 seconds left in the game. Sitting with a disappointing 1-3 start, The Atlanta Falcons now have to pull out all the stops in order to stay in the NFC South division race. The Falcons will try and brush off Sunday’s gut wrenching defeat to overcome the 2-2 New York Jets in Week 5’s Monday evening game. Atlanta Falcons tickets are averaging $82, with $17 to get in at the Georgia Dome.
9/24/13 - After a shaky start to this season, the Atlanta Falcons have been plagued with injuries and a gut-wrenching, last-second loss on Sunday to the Dolphins. The Falcons will now go head to head against the unbeaten Patriots, but with home-field advantage in the Georgia Dome, Matt Ryan and his boys are sure to put up a convincing fight. Atlanta Falcons tickets are hot for this one, and are averaging $174.
6/18/13 - The Atlanta Falcons had tied for the best record in the NFL last season and were the last unbeaten team in the League; yet, came up 10 yards short from landing their first Super Bowl appearance in more than a decade. Standouts QB Matt Ryan, WR Julio Jones and TE Tony Gonzalez will all be back on the Falcons roster this year. The question is can they win when it counts?
The Falcons open the regular season on the road against the New Orleans Saints. Saints vs. Falcons tickets are averaging $331 at Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
