8/7/15 - Coach Gary Patterson spoke at the recent Big 12 Media Days about the upcoming TCU Horned Frogs Football season. He reflected on the difficulties his team experienced during the 2013 season, which he attributed largely to confidence and preparation issues. He discussed Trevone Boykin’s development as a leader for the squad, dealing with the high expectations of being a league favorite, and about the disparity between available wideouts and linebackers in 2015. Their last game was against the Texas Longhorns, and they ended up dominated with a final score of 48-10. In their dominant win, Aaron Green, their running back, went on to rush for 73 yards and had 1 touchdown. This road game is crucial for the Horned Frogs, as they currently sit in a three-way tie for the lead in the Big 12. Tickets for this holiday showdown are available starting at $40. Looking ahead, TCU wraps up a strong 2014 campaign with a home finale against the Iowa State Cyclones on December 6. Tickets for that game start at $26.
11/21/14 - One of the best teams in the Big 12 division right now is the Texas Christian Horned Frogs. They have looked great as of late, and they currently sport a record of 9-1. They are the 4th ranked team in the nation, and they proved their ability to battle back last weekend against Kansas. Early in the game, they found themselves behind and unable to stop the Kansas passing attack. They rebounded quite nicely in the third and fourth quarter, though. They ended up winning the game with a final score being 34-30. In their closely contested win, Michael Cummings went on to throw for 332 yards, and had 2 touchdowns. TCU’s running back Aaron Green had a great performance, rushing for 128 yards and had 2 touchdowns of his own. 11/14/14 - One of the best teams in NCAA football right now is the Texas Christian Horned frogs. They are currently 8-1, and they looked great in their win last weekend against the top ranked Kansas State Wildcats. The final score ended up being 41-20, and it’s a huge win for TCU, who are looking to control the tables in the Big 12 conference. A huge reason for the Horned Frogs’ success was because of their running back, Trevone Boykin. He went on to rush for 123 yards, and he scored an amazing 3 touchdowns. Their dominant rushing attack allowed them to control the tempo of the game, and they will need to continue this strategy if they hope to continue their stellar run. Up next for them is a game against Kanas, which shouldn’t be a difficult game for them. Tickets are available now, and they start out at a low $24.
11/7/14 - The Texas Christian Horned Frogs recently had their first away game outside of Texas this year, boarding a plane for West Virginia. Though the game was close at first, their trip paid off in the end. TCU played in cold and windy weather, with Virginia winning in the first half at 27-14. In a spectacular show, the Horned Frogs came back from this 13 point deficit to win against West Virginia 31-30. This victory was gained in spite of a less than impressive offensive showing, which should give them something to work on for the upcoming game against Kansas State. This time, however, TCU will have the home advantage once again. See how they work it and support your favorite team live with tickets starting at $52.
