The U.S. Army All-American and former ESPN 300 member has proved he is well-adjusted, a quick learner, and ready to be a starter in football’s toughest conference, the SEC. Find out who will get the job with Texas A&M Aggies football tickets to the season opener. Prices are as low as $51 on the secondary market when the Lamar Cardinals visit Kyle Field September 6. 2/4/14 - The Texas A&M Aggies have the biggest former player entering this year’s NFL Draft: Johnny Manziel. His impact on college football is undeniable, being the first freshman to win the Heisman Trophy, breaking the SEC record for total offense, and leading the conference in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. The young buck announced his departure after defeating Duke in the Chick-fil-A Bowl, foregoing his junior year. Other departures are senior OT Jake Matthews and Manziel’s favorite target WR Mike Evans (also a sophomore). The Aggies were projected to struggle during their first year in the SEC, but the team sure turned that idea on its head, with a 9-4 record and No. 18 ranking on the season. This year, with National Signing Day impending, second-year HC Kevin Sumlin potentially possess the SEC’s No.2 ranked class (No.3 in the nation): including 5-star players QB Kyle Allen, WR Speedy Noil, CB Nick Harvey, DE Myles Garrett (No.2 overall prospect)

2013 Season

11/6/13- After multiple personnel changes at the coaching level, the Texas A&M Aggies are 7-2 and third in the SEC West. In their last matchups, the Aggies have had convincing victories over Vanderbilt and Texas-El Paso, and they are pitted against Mississippi State next, a game Johnny Manziel and company should handle well. Tickets start at $76 (Upper) and shoot up to a lofty $717 (50-yd line). Their two following games, however, are significantly more challenging: they face LSU and Missouri State on the road. Texas A&M will have to win all three games for a shot at a BCS bowl game, and right now they are projected to take the Sugar Bowl. Don’t miss out on Johnny Football this season with the Aggies, it may be your last chance—rumors are swirling that he may choose early entry into the 2014 NFL Draft!
