Oregon State Beavers Football 2016 News and Updates
8/6/15 - There are plenty of position battles to add to the intrigue as the Oregon State Beavers Football season approaches, perhaps none more interesting than quarterback. True freshman Seth Collins will square off with redshirt freshman Nick Mitchell, who was a stand-out on last year’s scout team. For his money, Collins produced 29 touchdowns for his high school squad in San Diego, throwing for 1,013 yards while rushing for 988 (or 8.7 per carry). Mitchell’s Pac-12 experience may give him the edge heading into 2015, although Collins figures to take snaps in order to gauge his true capability while preparing him for future seasons.
