11/1/13 – Unfortunately for Florida, the Gators saw their starting QB Jeff Driskel go down with a season-ending injury in their third game of year. The usually dominant Gator football program, has fallen to both ranked opponents on their schedule thus far, most recently #14 Missouri. The offensive line that was supposed to be restored this season, gave up 10 sacks in Florida’s last two games; now 17 on the year, the Gators are tied for fifteenth most in the country. On the upside, RB Kevin Taylor has emerged as one of the best playmakers among the struggling offense. Carrying the ball 22 times for 126 yards combined in the last two games, Taylor has proved he can be relied on and should be given more touches moving forward. In one of the greatest college football rivalry games, Florida welcomes the Georgia Bulldogs Saturday to EverBank Field where Florida vs. Georgia tickets start at $75. A win against the Bulldogs (also 3-2 in Conference) would put the Gators right back in the mix of things.
