9/18/14 - The California Golden Bears will emerge fresh from their bye week eager to extend their winning momentum into Pac-12 play. The unbeaten UC Berkeley team will take on the Wildcats in Arizona to prove they can compete consistently in their unforgiving conference. Arizona snuck away with a 33-28 victory over Cal the last time these two met, but judging by the look of this revamped Golden Bears squad, Cal has a prime opportunity to show their worth on this Saturday (9/20). Support this team on the rise with Cal Football tickets at Arizona for an affordable get-in price of $12.

7/9/14 – UC Berkeley athletics is in the midst of some big changes for the better. Sandy Barbour has recently stepped down as the California Golden Bears’ athletic director, and Chancellor Dirks has selected alumni Michael Williams to recuperate the school’s debt taken on for its brand new training center and football stadium, as well improve upon the football program’s lowest-ranking graduation rate amongst major conference universities. The new AD previously served as Cal’s wrestling coach and looks forward to taking Golden Bears athletics in a fresh new direction. See how the optimism up top drives the Golden Bears this season with Cal Berkeley Football tickets!

6/20/14 – Five California Golden Bears Football players were named to CFB guru Phil Steele’s Preseason All-Pac 12 team. Berkeley raised the bar even further, when six players were selected in the Athlon 2014 Preseaon All Pac 12 team. The stellar standouts include WR Chris Harper, LB Jalen Jefferson, OL Jordan Rigsbee, DE Brennan Scarlett and WR Bryce Treggs. Harper leads Cal with the most receptions, receiving yards, TDs and points over his Golden Bears career. See these exemplary players exceed expectations with California Golden Bears tickets!

5/28/14 – Two former Cal football players were selected in the 2014 NFL Draft – TE Richard Rodgers (Packers) and linebacker Khairi Fortt (Saints). Which up-and-coming Bears’ players will join them in the next few years? Check out the crop of talent at Kabam Field at California Memorial Stadium this season with California Golden Bears tickets. One game to be played off-site, is the highly-anticipated October 24 meeting against the Ducks at Levis Stadium. Cal vs. Oregon tickets are averaging $233 on the secondary market, $89 more than the highest priced Cal football ticket in Berkeley. At $144, you can grab a seat for the Big Game! Per usual, the game will be played in late November.

5/9/14 – Sophomore quarterback Jared Goff showed his talent at Cal’s Spring game completing 14 of 23 passes for 170 yards and an 8-yard TD pass to Kenny Lawler. With Lawler, Goff will have an affluence of receivers to work with this season including Chris Harper and Bryce Treggs. Cal fans can catch the threatening trio for the first time at home against the Sacramento State Hornets (avg. $52) on September 6. The Golden Bears will start and end their schedule at Kabam Field at California Memorial Stadium against non-conference opponents as Colorado (avg. $76), Washington (avg. $90), UCLA (avg. $128), Oregon (avg. $253), and crosstown rivals Stanford (avg. $151) travel to Berkeley in between.

2/6/14 - The Cal Golden Bears had a pretty rough season under Sonny Dykes first year as head coach. With a 1-11 record (0-9 Pac-12), the worst in the conference and a team-low since 2001, there’s nowhere to go but up! Cal announced their 22-player recruiting class for 2014, headlined by six prep All-Americans, 4-star WR Erik Brown, and 3-star QB Luke Rubenzer. With “a solid recruiting class [even] on the heels of a tough season” as said by coach Dykes, Cal is primed for much improvement in 2014!

2013 Season

11/18/13 – Twelve weeks into the season, and the Bears have just one win to their name. Still in the hunt for their first conference win, Cal has just one game left on their schedule and it’ll be the toughest of the season. The Cal Bears football program will play 2012 Pac-12 Champions and crosstown rival, Stanford Cardinal Saturday on the road; Cal vs. Stanford tickets start at just $28. In the off-season, Dykes and the young Cal squad will go back to the drawing board and clean up their defense, now the worst in school history giving up 488 points on the season thus far.

California Golden Bears Football 2014 Season

California Golden Bears Football season is right around the corner, with their Non-conference schedule kicking off Saturday, Aug. 30 against Northwestern. Despite mustering a historically bad season on defense, Berkeley has done much to improve upon last year’s 1-11 record. Their gridiron overhaul kicked off with the new hiring of Sonny Dykes and his fast-paced, high-scoring offense. With the head coach’s rookie season out of the way, fans can’t wait to see the students Dykes has developed in the trenches. On the players’ side, sophomore quarterback Jared Goff is returning with an honorable mention as an All-Pac-12 true freshman, flanked by wide receiver Chris Harper and DL Brennan Scarlett.

While the Golden Bears’ offense is sure to be productive, the upcoming season really hinges on Cal’s improvement on defense. The upside is a ton of defensive powerhouses who suffered season-ending injuries last season will be back this year; think of DT Mustafa Jalil, LB Jason Gibson, CB Stefan McClure, and S Avery Sebastian. The 2014-2015 Golden Bears schedule is chock-full of must-see rivalry games and Cal will host the likes of Washington, UCLA, Oregon and Stanford at California Memorial Stadium. Don’t miss out on Cal vs. Stanford tickets for $39 to get-in (Nov. 22) and Cal vs. UCLA tickets for $35 to get-in (10/18). Cheer on the boys in Berkeley with Cal Golden Bears Football tickets today!

2013 Season

The Cal Bears non-conference schedule features #2 Ohio State (9/14) and #22 Northwestern (8/31) which will prove to be a big test in Berkley from the get-go. Cal will play rival #21 UCLA Bruins on the road this year, but the difficult schedule doesn’t stop there. The Golden Bears will also play cross-town rival #4 Stanford Cardinal and #3 Oregon Ducks on the road. In all, the California Bears will play seven teams ranked in the Top 25 USA Today’s Coaches Poll; a tough feat for a team that won just three games last year.

Cal finished 5th in the Pac-12 North standings last season, with a Conference record of 2-7. Those two wins came against UCLA at home and Washington State on the road. The Bears are young this year, and they have a new head coach, Sonny Dykes who will look to take this program back to the Aaron Rogers era when the Bears went 10-1.

Of the twelve Pac-12 Conference schools, Cal tickets are the eighth most expensive. Cal vs. Ohio State tickets are averaging $156 and are the most expensive this season at Memorial Stadium-CA, a stadium California recently spent $321 million in renovations. #24 USC makes the trek up north at the end of the season; Cal vs. USC tickets are averaging $135. Over seven home games on the Cal Bears schedule, tickets average $79.
