Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl 2015 News and Updates

2014 Season

1/1/15 - The Chick-fil-a Peach Bowl went down yesterday, December 31, 2014, which featured a great game on paper between the TCU Horned Frogs and Ole Miss. TCU completed dominated the game, winning 42-3. Things couldn’t have gone any better from them, and they looked outstanding against a top 10 team. A huge reason for their success was because of Trevone Boykin. He ended up throwing for 187 yards and had 3 touchdowns. Aaron Green, TCU’s running back, also looked impressive. He was able to rush for 68 yards and had one touchdown. The dominant performance showcased why TCU is one of the best teams in the nation. And it makes one wonder how they would have done in the 4-team playoff system this year. Regardless, they have a bright season to look forward to next year.

12/22/14 - College fans are getting excited for the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, which features TCU and Ole Miss. Both of these teams are well-rounded, so it should be a competitive game that is going to be full of momentum swings. TCU proved a lot this season in the Big 12. They ended up with an 11-1 record, and arguably could have made it to the National Championship game if they had a little more luck. A pivotal piece for them on offense is their quarterback, Trevone Boykin. He can do it all, from rushing and shedding off tackles to throwing long balls down the field. Ole Miss have also showcased a potent offense this season, ending the regular season with a 9-3 record. In order for them to win, they need Bo Wallace to make smart decisions down the stretch. Tickets are available now for $57.

12/15/14 - After narrowly missing a birth in the first College Football Playoff, sixth-ranked TCU gears up to face the ninth-ranked Mississippi in the 47th annual Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta, GA. Led by Heisman candidate Trevone Bovkin, TCU will bring all of their offensive weapons to the Georgia Dome. Averaging an impressive 46.8 points per game, TCU (11-1) won all but one game this season, losing on the road against fifth-ranked Baylor in Big 12 conference play. Ole Miss (9-3) may have only finished third in the SEC West, but they racked up three signature wins against No. 1 Alabama, No. 7 Mississippi State, and No. 20 Boise State. The Mississippi State Rebels come into this game with the nation's top defense, limiting opponents to a meager 13.8 games per game. Tickets, available in a wide price range, are now on sale.

12/7/14 - TCU finished 6th in the final CFP rankings today. Falling from No. 3 and short of the first College Football Playoff, the Horned Frogs aim to prove the CFP committee wrong when they take on Mississippi in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on New Year's Eve in Atlanta. The Rebels started this season 7-0 before tough back-to-back losses versus LSU and Auburn, but they finished with a terrific win over in-state rival Mississippi State at home. It'll be fun to watch Ole Miss's No. 1 defense in fewest points allowed per game battle TCU's No. 2 offense in points scored per game.

9/2/14 - The start of the 2014-2015 season is under way, meaning premature bowl predications have stormed through the floodgates. Because the Chick fil-A Peach Bowl is no longer held to their ACC and SEC tie-ins, who do you think the College Football Selection Committee will choose to appear in the Peach Bowl? Experts have predicted the likes of Georgia, Ohio State, South Carolina and USC will appear at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Get your Chick fil-A Peach Bowl tickets at an early-bird price of $89 in the Upper Level Endzone.

2013 Season

The Coastal Division champs will face 2013 Heisman Trophy candidate Johnny Manziel and a high powered offense in Atlanta. Chick-fil-A Bowl tickets are averaging $129, down $13 since mid-season.
