Pac 12 Tournament 2016 Season

1/21/16 - No team has repeated as winners of the Pac 12 Basketball Tournament since 2010-11, when the Washington Huskies claimed back-to-back victories. In 2016, it will be the Arizona Wildcats looking to start their own streak, following their decisive 80-52 drubbing of Oregon in last year’s title game. ‘Zona ranks third in the conference, trailing the Huskies and top-ranked USC Trojans. With just a single in-conference victory separating the three teams, there’s still no telling how the seeds will ultimately land. One thing is for certain, though: tickets for the Pac 12 tourney are on sale today! Seats for all sessions are available from $397, or pick up single-session tickets from $48 and up if you act quickly.

3/6/15 - The Pac 12 Basketball Tournament is happening in a less than a week and all teams and fans involved and anxiously waiting its arrival. Is there anything better than being right in the action and being able to smell the sweat at a live basketball game? Don’t miss your opportunity to see some of the best basketball of the season and attend the Pac 12 Basketball Tournament. Tickets for an individual game start at $260 and are held in Las Vegas, NV.

2/13/15 - Arizona is currently in the lead of the Pac 12 conference, with a few weeks left in the regular season before the conference teams head to the Pac 12 Basketball Tournament. Utah and Oregon closely follow Arizona, so any of the teams could end up top seed for the start of the tournament. If Utah wins the conference title, it will be the first time in their school history, but Arizona is looking for a win after last year's loss to UCLA. The tournament will once again take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas from March 11-14. The first round starts March 11, followed by the quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship on the subsequent days. 2014 Season

Last year Oregon won its third Pac 12 Tournament title, defeating #1 seeded UCLA (sans Jordan Adams) in the Championship game. The Ducks and Bruins faced off for the first time in 2014 last night in a close game at Matthew Knight Arena that ended with a blocked shot by Kyle Anderson that allowed UCLA to hold on and get the W. Arizona leads the Conference, and the Country for that matter, after eight Pac-12 Conference games. Will we see a UCLA-Arizona semi-final Pac 12 tournament rematch come March 15 in Vegas? Compared to other top basketball conferences, Pac-12 basketball tickets are a steal. To see some of the best programs in the Country compete for a chance to play in the NCAA Tournament, you’ll pay as little as $77 to watch the semi-final rounds and $87 to cheer from the stands during the Championship game.

2013 Season

The 2013 Pac-12 Conference Men's Basketball Tournament will be played March 13th through the 16th at the MGM Grand Hotel Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It will be the first year (of a three year term) that MGM Grand will host the Pac-12 Tournament. The past 11 years, the Pac-12 Tournament has been held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles; this year, the Staples Center will host the NCAA West Regional Championship.

All 12 teams in the conference will play in the tournament; the top 4 teams earn a bye into the quarterfinals. The winner of the 2013 Pac-12 Conference Tournament receives an automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Tournament. Pac-12 Tournament tickets are currently starting at $380 for All Sessions.

In 2011, the Pac-12 added two teams — the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Utah. In their first year in the Conference, the 2011-2012 Colorado Buffaloes Men's Basketball Team won the 2012 Pac-12 Conference Men's Basketball Tournament and advanced to the 2012 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. The Oregon Ducks currently sit atop the 2013 Pac-12 standings, with the Arizona Wildcats and UCLA Bruins 2nd and 3rd. There are only three weeks left in the season, and all three teams have a shot at the #1 seed in the Pac-12 Tournament; Oregon won't have to play either of the two other schools down the stretch, while UCLA will host Arizona on March 2nd.
