3/17/14 - The get-in price for an All-Sessions pass has gone up $23 since last week, and is now $217! Session 1 tickets (Ohio State vs. Dayton, Syracuse vs. Western Mich.) start at $100, while Session 2 tickets (Connecticut vs. Saint Joseph's, Villanova vs. Milwaukee) start at less than half that price: just $47 to get in on Thursday night! Buffalo offers some of the best matchups of the season—be in the stadium to see which teams make it into the Sweet 16 with Session 3 tickets, starting at $152 on Saturday!
3/11/14 – It’s time punch your ticket to the NCAA Tournament games in Buffalo! Demand for the second- and third-round games of the 2014 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament on March 20 and 22 in First Niagara Center is high. Close to 600 All-Session tickets remain for the event; at a cost of $194 (300 level), you can grab a seat for under face value. Unlike the primary market, Razorgator is selling single session tickets so you can enjoy as much basketball as your heart desires! An All-Session pass includes six games total: four games in two sessions on Thursday and two games in a single session on Saturday. Starting times for the games will be determined after the NCAA defines seedings and brackets for the 68 qualifying teams.
2/5/14 - New Yorkers love their basketball, so it should be no surprise that Buffalo was selected to host the second and third rounds of the 2014 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament for the fifth time. First Niagara Center, home to NHL’s Buffalo Sabres, is one of eight sites hosting second and third round games which will be played with a Thursday-Saturday format on March 20 and 22. Hosted by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, games in NCAA tournament games in Buffalo routinely sell out. In 2010, Buffalo had the highest attendance of the eight venues that held games in the first and second rounds with 56,535 NCAA tournament tickets sold over three sessions; the average attendance per session was larger than some of the Regional semifinal and final games that year.
Selection Sunday will occur on March 16, 2014 and on that day college basketball fans will find out their team’s seed and second/third round placement. On Thursday, March 20, two second round sessions will resume at First Niagara Center, each session includes two games. The second round winners of the four games, will play Saturday March 22 in session 3, which will also be comprised of two games. The two winners from the third round will advance to the Sweet 16 and their respective Regional.
Current No. 1 Syracuse, a 10-time tournament host, will be the site of the 2015 East Regional.
