3/18/14 - Selection Sunday came and went, leaving a wake of anticipation for NCAA Tournament fans everywhere. Considering San Antonio will host the No.3 seeded Iowa State and North Carolina, expectations are running high for the weekend in Texas. An All Sessions pass that will get you into all 6 games has jumped up nearly $40 since Selection Sunday—from a $207 minimum to its current get-in price of $246. That's still just $41 a game to join in on March Madness! Session 1 tickets (Baylor vs. Nebraska, Creighton vs. Louisiana Lafayette) are $166 to get-in. Session 2 tickets (North Carolina vs. Providence, Iowa State vs. NC Central) start at $90 in Plaza Level. Can the Tar Heels gain redemption of their former years and make it to the Sweet 16, or will Iowa show their dominance? See all the heart pumping action with Session 3 tickets, starting at $82 in Balcony, for the final day of competition in San Antonio!
3/11/14 – Texas residents will be treated to some big-time basketball this year beginning with second-and-third round games in the 2014 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament at AT&T Center. Creighton and Iowa State are currently projected as 3 seeds and the highest ranked programs to play in San Antonio March 21 and 23. Because St. Louis and Milwaukee are full, San Antonio is closer in proximity than Raleigh for the two schools. But anything can happen in Conference Championship week, so there are no guarantees until Selection Sunday when game times and brackets are final. Cheap All-Session tickets are available from $207 and will get you into all six games. If you’re looking for single-session tickets, grab seats for $34 (Session 1), $53 (Session 2), or $76 (Session 3).
2/6/14 - After hosting seven regionals (1998, 2004, 2008) or Final Fours (1997, 2001, 2003, 2007), San Antonio will host the second and third rounds of the NCAA basketball tournament for the first time ever! The AT&T Center, home to the Spurs, will be one of eight sites for the sub-regional men’s games March 21 and 24. The facility has hosted a women’s basketball Regional in 2006, but has never contested men’s tournament games – so 2014 will be the venue’s first! Texas-San Antonio (UTSA) will serve as the organizers for the six games played over three sessions.
Session 1 and 2 will be played Friday, March 21 at AT&T Center and will include two games in each. San Antonio tickets for Friday’s sessions start at $27 and $63 respectively. Eight second round teams will be narrowed down to four; winners advance, losers go home. In the lose-and-go-home format, the opening rounds of the tournament make for some exciting basketball! Session 3 will occur Sunday, March 23; also a two game session, we’ll see four of the top 32 teams in the Country battle for a spot in the Sweet 16. Session 3 tickets for the third round of NCAA tournament play range between $82-$792 in San Antonio. Both third round winners will advance to the West Regional in Anaheim, CA on their road to the Final Four at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, TX.
