3/2/15 - The American Athletic Conference Tournament, formally known as the controversial Big East is sure to show some of the best basketball games of the season. Scheduled to start on March 12, 2015 and run through March 15, 2015, the top fourteen collegiate basketball teams of the season will face off to compete for the coveted championship trophy. Louisville, the champions last year, won’t be in the AAC tournament this year guaranteeing a new team to walk away with the big W. UConn came in second place in 2014 and is coming back with a vengeance and something to prove. 2/9/15 - The American Athletic Conference Tournament will take place at the XL Center in Hartford, CT, on March 12 to the 15. It will start with the first round, with a game between the 8th seed and 9th seed, followed by a game between the 7th seed and 10th seed, and the final first round game between the 6th seed and 11th seed. The winners of those games move to the quarterfinals to play against the top seeded teams. Currently, the top ranking team is Tulsa, followed by SMU and Temple. There are still a few games left in the regular season before the final seeds are chosen for the tournament.
