Toronto Raptors News – 2013 Raptors Updates
The Toronto Raptors may be in last place in the Atlantic Division, but they look like a squad with a lot of potential going forward. The Raptors young lineup featuring Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, Andrew Bargnani, and Jonas Valanciunas was significantly boosted by the addition of Rudy Gay who they acquired from the
Memphis Grizzlies mid-season. Gay has played well for the Raptors so far, averaging 21 points and over six rebounds per game, and the future looks bright. The team is out of the NBA Playoffs right now, but look for them to finish strong and challenge for a spot in the postseason next year.
The Raptors have the cheapest away ticket of any team in the
NBA, averaging $85 at the beginning of the season. The Raptors are the only Canadian team in the NBA so local road trips might include Divisional games in New York against the
Brooklyn Nets or
New York Knicks. Raptors fans will pay $13 more per ticket on average at the
Air Canada Centre (also home to the
Toronto Maple Leafs). In comparison, preseason Toronto Raptors tickets cost about half that of the regular season. However, the Raptors preseason roster did not include Gay. Many games in the second half of the season on the Raptors schedule have cheap Raptors tickets available with get-in prices under $20.
