Sacramento Kings News – 2013 Kings Basketball Updates
Perhaps the most talked about topic for the Sacramento Kings this year is their potential move to Seattle. Come mid-April fans should have a better idea of whether or not they'll need to clear their calendars for the 2013-2014 season at
Sleep Train Arena. As the Kings finish up regular season play, their focus may be more on the NBA Draft than the NBA Playoffs. With Isaiah Thomas, Tyreke Evans, and DeMarcus Cousins, the franchise has some young talent to build on and they will look to do so in the lottery this year.
The Kings have not played well on the road this season and yet Sacramento Kings tickets to their away games are averaging about 30% more than tickets at home. Kings tickets at home are averaging $60, about half the price of the League average of $116. All but three games this season at Sleep Train Arena are averaging under $100 including upcoming matchups on the Sacramento Kings schedule:
Los Angeles Clippers (3/19) and
Philadelphia 76ers (3/24).
Golden State Warriors tickets between the two Nor Cal teams averaged just $39 (12/19) and $61 (11/5) - the Kings won both those games. The Sacramento Kings owners offer cheap Kings tickets throughout the season. Get-in prices were as low as $2 for matchups early in the season against the
Minnesota Timberwolves (11/27) and
Toronto Raptors (12/5). Should the Kings move to Seattle, what do you think the average cost of Super Sonics tickets will be?
