The Magic are still in rebuilding mode following summer 2012 trade of Dwight Howard

The Magic return their backcourt of leading scorer Arron Afflalo and longtime point guard Jameer Nelson, who is entering his tenth season with the team. Leading rebounder Nikola Vucevic and frontcourt mates Glen Davis and Hedo Tukoglu also return. Rookie #2 overall draft pick Victor Oladipo is expected to make an instant impact. The Indiana product is an explosive athlete with a great motor, and enters the season as a favorite for Rookie of the Year.
