The Bucks made a key acquisition in standout big man Greg Monroe, who will combine with “The Greek Freak” Giannis Antetokounmpo to form a fearsome defensive duo. Entering his third year and first full season with Milwaukee, point guard Michael Carter-Williams also figures to be a big part of the puzzle thanks to his ability to impact a game on both sides of the floor. Milwaukee Bucks 2015-2016 News and Updates

2/10/16 - The Milwaukee Bucks may not be one of the better teams in the NBA, but they tend to pull off some surprising wins against extremely tough teams. For example, on February 9, the Bucks overcame the Boston Celtics powerhouse offense. The biggest part of the night for the Bucks was the third quarter. In that quarter alone, the Bucks scored 40 points and held the Celtics to only 20 points during that period. The Celtics made a run for the win in the final minutes, but the Bucks held them off and won the game 112-111. Watch the Bucks play live again on February 19 against the Hornets. Tickets are still available to purchase.

2/3/16 - There is bad news for fans of the Milwaukee Bucks. The team had been holding their own recently, but they have lost their momentum and taken four consecutive losses, three of which were on away courts. With a season record of 20-31, the Bucks now occupy the 13th position in the Eastern Conference. Unfortunately, it looks like they still have many away games coming up. They will be returning to Milwaukee on February 9th for two quick home matches, however. Be sure to come out, show your support, and cheer them to victory over the Boston Celtics in their homecoming match. Tickets are available starting as low as just $12.

1/27/16 - The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Magic on January 27. The Magic outscored the Bucks in the first quarter 30-23, but the Bucks found their groove in the second quarter to reduce the deficit. They came out strong in the third quarter, outscoring the Magic 29-22 to get back in the game. Jerryd Bayless made two three pointers in the final two minutes of the game, including a shot with 13 seconds left that gave them a four point lead. Jason Kidd was back as coach after hip surgery. The Bucks could not maintain the winning momentum and lost to the Grizzlies on the 28. They host the Heat on the 29, and you can still get tickets for prices starting at $27.

1/20/16 - The Milwaukee Bucks have won their last three games in a row. The first was a nail biter that went into overtime against the Hawks, but the Bucks were able to be victorious with a final score of 108-101. They secured their victory better in the next two wins. They beat the Hornets on the 16th with a score of 105-92 and the Heat on the 19th with a final score of 91-79. Khris Middleton led the team in scoring against the Heat with 22 points, and Greg Monroe had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. The Bucks head to Houston to play the Rockets on the 22. You can still get tickets, with prices starting at $16.

1/13/16 - The Milwaukee Bucks have gone 2-2 in their last four games. Their latest win was against the Bulls on January 12. The Bulls led for much of the game, but the Bucks were able to rally and take the game. Giannis Antetokounmmpo finally ended his scoring slump and led the team with 29 points, which marked his second-best career performance. The Bucks' ability to convert turnovers helped them to win, and they scored 30 points from 17 turnovers by the Bulls. However, they were unable to keep the winning momentum when they faced the Wizards the next night and fell 106-101. The Bucks host the Hawks on the 15, and you can still get tickets, with prices starting at $13.

1/6/16 - The series of four away games is over for the Milwaukee Bucks, but it does not look like there is much consistency to their upcoming schedule. For the next week, they are not going to have two consecutive away or home games, so it may be a tough time for the Bucks. Already, they have lost their first two games, against the San Antonio Spurs and the Chicago Bulls. Hopefully they will be able to gain some momentum as they return to Milwaukee for a quick matchup against the Dallas Mavericks before heading back out to take on the New York Knicks. Afterward, they will be having a rematch against the Bulls, this time on their own court.

12/30/15 - Sitting at 12-21, the Milwaukee Bucks aren’t completely off the radar in the Eastern Conference. They will need to put together a winning streak or two in order to vault themselves back into serious contention however, and they can start with the Indiana Pacers on New Year’s Eve. Milwaukee has lost three straight dating back to the day after Christmas, including a high-scoring 131-123 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road. Their current four-game swing wraps up on January 2nd in Minnesota, and tickets are available for Bucks vs. Timberwolves right now! Get your seats at the Target Center starting at just $17 each and help the Bucks usher in 2016 the right way!

12/21/15 - The Milwaukee Bucks were in desperate need of a win away from home. Since the beginning of November, the Bucks had lost 12 straight games away from home and were looking for any possible way to stop the losing streak. On December 20, the slump came to halt when they took on the Phoenix Suns. Thanks to Khris Middleton and Greg Monroe having blow up fourth quarters, the Bucks were able to hold off the Suns and leave Arizona with the satisfying 101-95 win. Cheer them on when they play live again at home on December 23 against the Philadelphia 76ers. Tickets are still available and start around $14 each.

12/16/15 - On December 12th, the Milwaukee Bucks did what many assumed was impossible. All things considered, the Bucks have been struggling this year, but they may just be the only team to beat the Golden State Warriors this season. Up until now, they have been completely undefeated, but that all changed when they faced the Bucks. They were able to earn an early two-point lead in the first quarter, but even fans were not expecting them to hold on to that lead going into the second half. By the end, the Bucks still had a fantastic 13-point lead. This win puts the Bucks at 10-15 and 13th in the Eastern Conference.

12/9/15 - After losing two in a row, the Milwaukee Bucks added two wins to their record. They beat the Knicks 106-92 on December 5. Despite missing three of their point guards, the Bucks had a very solid night of play. O.J. Mayo started at point guard, and Michael Carter-Williams came off the bench to lead the team with 20 points. On December 9, the Bucks edged out the Trail Blazers in a 90-88 victory after coming back from behind to take the lead in the final seconds. They were unable to maintain their winning momentum when they played the Clippers on the 9. They next play the Raptors in Toronto on December 11. You can still get tickets, with prices as low as $15.

12/2/15 - The Milwaukee Bucks hit the road this week to compete against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night. The Bucks started off slow and ended the first half trailing the Spurs by 10 points. Things didn’t seem to be looking up to start the second half as the Bucks continued to let the Spurs put numbers on the board. However, they went on a fabulous offensive run and cut the double-digit lead to only six points. The Spurs then did what they were famous for, took a much-needed timeout, followed by a large scoring spree. This led the team to the 90-75 victory over the Bucks. See the Bucks play live again on December 5 against the New York Knicks.

11/25/15 - The Milwaukee Bucks unfortunately added another loss to their record when they faced the Pacers on November 21. The Bucks struggled to score, with the high scorer, Greg Monroe, only getting 11 points and the next in line, Jabari Parker and O.J. Mayo, snagging 10 points apiece. They shot well, with a 43 percent shooting percentage, but they just did not have the chances they needed to take control of the game away from the Pacers. The Bucks will look to add some more wins to their record when they play two home games against the Pistons and the Kings on the 23 and 25 respectively. You can still get tickets for both games, with prices starting at $9.

11/18/15 - Even though the Milwaukee Bucks are at the bottom of the Eastern conference standings, they are still a team to be reckoned with. They have beaten some of the top teams in the NBA this season, including the Cleveland Cavaliers. Their last game was against the Washington Wizards and unfortunately the results weren’t as pretty. The Wizards dominated the court during the second quarter of the game and outscored the Bucks by an impressive 20 points in that quarter alone. After halftime, things didn’t look less grim for the Bucks as their offense continued to struggle. Watch them recuperate on Saturday November 21 against the Indiana Pacers. Tickets are still up for grabs.

11/11/15 - The Milwaukee Bucks were able to come away the victors after a double-overtime game against the Cavaliers on the 14. The win came after two losses in a row against the Celtics and Nuggets. Jerryd Bayless helped the team win with a strong defense, stopping LeBron James from scoring in the final three minutes of the second overtime. He also had 17 points to help out the offense. The Bucks played hard, but the game could have gone another way. There was an inadvertent call by a referee in the final moments of the first overtime, which stopped the Cavaliers' momentum and gave the Bucks a chance to extend the game and win. They next play the Wizards on the 17, with tickets starting at $6.

11/4/15 - It seems the Milwaukee Bucks have finally started to hold their own. They had three consecutive losses to start the season, but they have won their two most recent matches, against the Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers. They may have only beaten the 76ers by a slim four points, but they blew the Nets away with a final score of 103-96. The Bucks have one more away match, then they will return to Milwaukee on November 7th for back-to-back home matches against the Boston Celtics and in a rematch with the Nets. These are sure to be some exciting games, so secure your spot in the stands today and cheer the Bucks to victory.

10/28/15 - The Milwaukee Bucks were unable to get a win for their first game of the 2015-16 season. They played the Knicks on October 28 and lost 122-97. The Bucks struggled early, allowing the Knicks to have a 15-0 run and were unable to close the gap. Greg Monroe was the team leader, scoring 22 points and snagging 14 rebounds. Michael Carter-Williams also had a good scoring night with 20 points, but he had six turnovers. The Bucks also needed to have a stronger defense. They will work to improve on these areas before they host the Washington Wizards on October 30. You can still get tickets to the game, with prices starting at $15.

10/21/15 - The Milwaukee Bucks have been around the NBA for a long time, but haven’t seen a lot of success for a couple of decades. The preseason doesn’t determine what teams are going to be successful and those that aren’t, but it does indicate who needs a lot more work before starting the regular season. So far the Bucks have lost three of their five preseason games. This week the Bucks put Jorge Gutierrez, Marcus Landry, and Josh Powell on waivers, completing their 15 player roster. See what they can pull together when they start their regular season play on October 28. Tickets start at $19 each, so don’t miss your chance.

10/12/15 - The Milwaukee Bucks have yet to win a preseason game after playing the Bulls and the Pistons. In their first preseason game against the Bulls, they lost 95-105. Rashad Vaughn was the high scorer of the night with 20 points. Jorge Gutierrez helped out with seven assists and Damien Inglis had nine rebounds. Against the Pistons, Greg Monroe, Jr. was the high scorer with 18 points, and he also had the most rebounds at 8. The Bucks will be looking to get a win when they play the Cavaliers on Tuesday, October 13. Then, they head back home to host the Wizards on Saturday, October 17. You can still get your tickets, with prices starting at just $3.

8/12/15 - The Milwaukee Bucks are gearing up for a fresh new start. The NBA just published the official schedule for the 2015-2016 season, and the Bucks are ten short weeks away from their home opener game. After finishing with a mediocre 41-41 record and ending up in third place in the Central Division, the Bucks will be looking for a lively start to the new season. They will face the New York Knicks at home in the kickoff game on Wednesday, October 28 at BMO Harris Bradley Center. Next, they will take on the Washington Wizards before hitting the road to play the Toronto Raptors. Don’t miss all the kickoff action on October 28. Tickets are currently available in varying prices and start at just $35.

2014-2015 Season

5/1/15 - The playoffs are officially over for the Milwaukee Bucks, but they certainly put up a fight before being eliminated. They got out to a rough start when they took on the Chicago Bulls, who are seed number three. The Bucks lost their first three matches, which meant the Bulls were only one win away from taking their spot in the second round. Knowing this was their last chance, Milwaukee dug in their heels and fought hard. They managed to beat out the Bulls and even followed it up with a second win on the Bulls' home court. To avoid elimination, the Bucks would need to win four consecutive games, and it looked like they just might do it, but they just could not get control of April 30th's game, and they lost 120-66.

4/20/15 - After dropping the opening two games of their first round playoff series versus the Bulls, the Milwaukee Bucks are hoping a little home cooking will cure what ails them. Jimmy Butler proved unstoppable for the second straight game, accounting for over a third of Chicago’s points en route to a 91-82 win in Game Two on Monday night. Bucks shooting guard Khris Middleton did his best to play the equalizer, scoring 22 points and grabbing six rebounds in his 34 minutes of action. It wasn’t enough to overcome sluggish scoring in the first and fourth quarters, however, as Milwaukee ultimately fell by nine. The series turns to BMO Harris Bradley Center in Wisconsin on Thursday night as the Bucks look to climb back into the series. Tickets are on sale now!

4/13/15 - After missing the cut last year, the Milwaukee Bucks are returning to the postseason in Jason Kidd’s first year as head coach. They will look to win their first playoff series since the 2000-01 season, when a Bucks team led by Ray Allen and Sam Cassell was bested by Allen Iverson and the Philadelphia 76ers in the Eastern Conference Finals. Milwaukee will begin this year’s playoff run on the road, as they will face either the Chicago Bulls or Toronto Raptors in the first round depending on the outcomes of the regular season’s final contests. We have playoff tickets on sale now! The postseason begins on April 18th, but it’s not too early to secure your seats for home games at the BMO Harris Bradley Center!

4/8/15 - With five games left, the Milwaukee Bucks have yet to clinch their spot in the playoffs, despite being in sixth place overall in the conference. The Bucks are two games up on seventh-place Brooklyn, but two far behind Washington (six games) to potentially move up.

3/25/15 - With each passing day, the Milwaukee bucks edge closer and closer to the NBA postseason – quite an achievement after finishing as one of the league’s worst teams last season. The Bucks are currently holding down sixth place in the Eastern Conference, 5 ½ games behind fifth-place Washington and 2 ½ games ahead of seventh-place Miami.

3/17/15 - The Milwaukee Bucks will be looking to change the tide after losing their last two games. They lost 109-103 against the Pacers on March 12, and then lost again 96-83 on the 14th against the Grizzlies. They opened their game against the Grizzlies strong, with a 14-4 run. However, the Grizzlies came back strong in the second and third quarters, securing their victory. The Bucks have two back-to-back games next on their schedule, starting with the Pelicans on March 17, followed by a return home to face the Spurs on the 18th. As the Bucks head to New Orleans, they will be looking to stop their streak of road losses, which is currently at eight. Tickets remain on sale, starting at $4 for the Pelicans and $5 for the Spurs game.

3/11/15 - It’s gotten a little tougher for the Milwaukee Bucks of late. While they’re still in the running for the Eastern Conference postseason, currently in sixth place, they’ve lost seven of their last 10 and are just four games ahead of hard-charging division rival Indiana, who have worked their way into playoff contention.

3/4/15 - Even though the Milwaukee Bucks have lost their last three in a row, the team is still fairly comfortably in the playoff hunt; while they are 16 games behind conference leading Atlanta (who have clinched their spot in the postseason), they’re 5 ½ games ahead of seventh-place Miami.

2/25/15 - The NBA Central Division is getting bunched up at the top, and one of those teams is the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks, who were big-time buyers at the league’s trading deadline last week, are currently just 4 ½ games behind Chicago and four back of Cleveland, as well as sixth overall in the Eastern Conference.

2/19/15 - With the trade deadline on Thursday, the Milwaukee Bucks were wheelin’ and dealin’, picking up three players as part of a three team deal with Phoenix and Philadelphia. From the Sixers, the Bucks acquired point guard Michael Carter-Williams; while getting center Miles Plumlee, and Tyler Ennis, another guard from the Suns.

2/4/15 - Winners of their last four, the Milwaukee Bucks are in the thick of the race both within the Central Division as well as the overall Eastern Conference. The Bucks are just 3 ½ games behind division leading Chicago, and sixth overall in the conference.

1/28/15 - With division rival Cleveland picking up steam again, the Milwaukee Bucks have fallen back to third place in the Central Division. The Bucks, although at .500, are still well ahead of their next nearest rival in fourth place, 5 ½ games ahead of Detroit.

1/21/15 - As division rival Cleveland seeks to get their act together, the Milwaukee Bucks are in a position battle with the Cavs. The Bucks are currently in third place in the Central Division, a half game back of the resurgent Cavs, but 5 ½ games ahead of fourth place Detroit.

1/14/15 - With division rival Cleveland’s current woes, the Milwaukee Bucks have moved back into second place in the Central Division. The Bucks are a game above .500 at 20-19, and a game ahead of Cleveland, but six games back of division-leading Chicago – still a far cry from last year.

1/7/15 - The Milwaukee Bucks got back on the right foot recently with a win over reeling Philadelphia. The win over the Sixers has the Bucks just a half game behind Cleveland for second place in the Central Division.

12/17/14 - The Milwaukee Bucks took a big blow en route to a 96-94 buzzer-beating win over Phoenix on Monday night. Rookie Jabari Parker suffered what turned out to be a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during the game, and will miss the remainder of the season.

12/10/14 - After spending much of the young season at or near the top of the Central Division, the Milwaukee Bucks have fallen back in the pack. Now in third place behind Cleveland and Chicago, the Bucks are also now one game under .500, at 11 wins and 12 losses on the season.

12/3/14 - Has the change in ownership been the catalyst for a resurgence in the Milwaukee Bucks this season? After previous owner Herb Kohl sold last year’s cellar dwellers, this year’s squad is one of just two in the Central Division with 10 or more wins at this juncture.

11/19/14 - If the season finished today, the Milwaukee Bucks would be the 4th seed in the Eastern Conference…but there’s still 71 games to play. However, it’s a far cry from last season, when the Bucks struggled their way to a last-place finish in the Central Division.

11/12/14 - Last season, the Milwaukee bucks were one of the cellar-dwellers of the NBA. This year, at least for starters, it’s been a different story for the Bucks, who are at .500 (along with Cleveland), just two games behind division leading Chicago.

10/29/14 - Coming off of a 108-97 loss against the Washington Wizards on Saturday, Milwaukee Bucks head coach Jason Kidd feels the team needs to believe it deserves to win in order to improve. The Bucks played with energy and gave great effort, but at the end of the night came up short. Brandon Knight was the team’s leading scorer on Saturday with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The loss comes as rumors surfaced recently that Milwaukee Bucks owners Wes Edens and Marc Lasry have been negotiating to purchase a parcel of land known as Journal Square, which includes the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel buildings. Located across the street from UWM Panther Arena, and adjacent to the failing Milwaukee Theater, it remains uncertain whether the nearby buildings would be razed and included as part of a new sports complex. The Bucks’ next home game comes on Wednesday, November 5th against the Chicago Bulls. Tickets are still available for purchase, beginning at $38 each.

8/26/14 – The Milwaukee Bucks 2014-2015 schedule released and there are tons of can’t-miss matchups on the 82-game slate. The Bucks have sped up their rebuilding process with the growth of Antetokounmpo and addition of Jabari Parker, the NBA-ready No.2 pick who is in talks for Rookie of the Year. Milwaukee opens up regular season play on the road at the Charlotte Hornets (Oct. 29), while the Philadelphia 76ers visit BMO Harris Bradley Center for the home opener on Oct. 31. Fans don't have to wait very long to see superstar NBA talent, when Kevin Durant and the Thunder visit on Nov. 11, followed by Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks on Nov. 18. See your new coach Jason Kidd on the sideline, and your fresh young core on the boards, with Milwaukee Bucks tickets today!

Last season, the Milwaukee Bucks made valiant efforts to gain ground in the East, with the addition of O.J. Mayo, Zaza Pachulia and Larry Sanders. Unfortunately, these offseason efforts saw no gain in the regular season and the Bucks were a bottom barrel team, despite being the No.8 seed just a year before. Notwithstanding play from Greek phenom Giannis Antetokounmpo, who displayed his raw athleticism and great promise with time, the team lacked leadership and blue-chip quality players to take their play to the next level. Look out Bucks fans, because after a successful offseason, Milwaukee is certainly on the rise.

Milwaukee is in a rebuilding year, and made major moves to ensure positive progress towards NBA postseason relevance, starting with the 2014 Draft. The lottery landed the Bucks with the No. 2 pick, which they briskly used on Jabari Parker, the guy they wanted from the outset, in addition to Damien Inglis and Johnny O’Bryant. Now under new ownership, the franchise hired Jason Kidd as new head coach, who will build the team around Antetokounmpo and Parker. See if the new faces of the franchise can propel them back into playoff contention with Milwaukee Bucks tickets today!
