Miami Heat 2014-2015 News and Updates
1/21/15 - According to Forbes, the Miami Heat have the best fans in the NBA. The Heat may not be having the season they hoped for, but their fans are loyal. With Hassan Whiteside on the sidelines for a few games, they may struggle even more. He injured his ankle in the game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Hopefully, he’ll be back in the game by the game on Friday (1/23) against the Indiana Pacers. Even if he’s not there, the Heat still have plenty of talent in Chris Anderson, Chris Bosh, and Dwyane Wade who kept the team alive in the Thunder game, but couldn’t pull out the win. Catch the Heat in their game against the Pacers by purchasing your tickets from Razorgator at great prices.
1/12/15 - Coach Erik Spoelstra has had the unenviable task of adjusting to life without LeBron James this season, as the two-time champion Miami Heat have turned to Chris Bosh and veteran point guard Dwyane Wade to lead the way. The results have been mixed, but nearly halfway into the season, the Heat remain among the playoff contenders in the Eastern Conference, buoyed by their defense (fifth best in the East). In their Sunday road win, they held the high-scoring L.A. Clippers to just 90 points—16 below their season average. Miami will look to build on that win as they continue their West coast swing, with upcoming games versus Sacramento, the Los Angeles Lakers, and starting with the league-best Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night. A limited number of tickets are still available for Oracle Arena, starting at $52, but don’t wait because they’ll be gone soon!
1/5/15 - The Miami Heat snapped a four-game losing streak on Sunday, coming away with a victory over the Brooklyn Nets, 88-84. Hassan Whiteside had a big game for the Heat, grabbing a career-high 10 rebounds to go with 11 points and five blocked shots in just 27 minutes. Stars Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade combined for 51 points in the win, which elevated Miami to a record of 15-20 for the season, and kept them just ahead of the Indiana Pacers for eighth place in the Eastern Conference. The Heat will try for back-to-back victories when they travel to the Rose Garden to face off with the dangerous Portland Trail Blazers, led by the all-star duo of Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge. Razorgator is your ticket in the door, with a limited number of seats still available from just $27!
12/31/14 - After a big win on Christmas Day versus the Cleveland Cavaliers and former teammate LeBron James, the Miami Heat have dropped two straight at home to bring their record to 14-18 overall this season. The Heat defeated Cleveland convincingly in LeBron’s first game back in Miami since his departure as a free agent, prevailing 101-91 behind 31 points from Dwyane Wade. Miami slipped up two nights later versus Western powerhouse Memphis, and then lost a nail-biter to the Orlando Magic, 102-101 on Monday night. The Heat will have a chance to close out the year with a win over an Eastern Conference rival, as they visit the Indiana Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Wednesday night. Razorgator still has a limited number of tickets available starting at just $18, so come out and support your team!
12/25/14 - Looking to maintain their position among the top eight in the Eastern Conference, the Miami Heat will try for their second straight win on Tuesday when they host the Philadelphia 76ers. After five straight losses on their home floor, the Heat rebounded, defeating the Boston Celtics on Sunday, 100-84. Luol Deng led all scorers with 23 points, and Mario Chalmers added 11 to go with ten assists for Miami, who improved to 13-15 despite playing without all-stars Chris Bosh (left thigh strain) or Dwyane Wade (right knee bruise). Wade is due back into the lineup on Tuesday, and hopes to quickly reestablish his rhythm, as the Heat will host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas Day in LeBron James’ first game in Miami since returning to his home-state Cavs this season. Razorgator is your ticket in to AmericanAirlines Arena for this hotly anticipated showdown, with tickets from $89.
12/17/14 - Despite the game delay due to a leaky roof, the Miami Heat were able to defeat the Brooklyn Nets last week, keeping them ranked third out of the five teams in the Southeast Division standings. The 95-91 win was a close game for the Heat, but the team was able to pull it off, even without star LeBron James on the roster this season. Chris Bosh continues to put up big numbers each game, holding on to his spot as the team’s scoring leader with an average 21.6 points per game. Bosh also leads in rebounds and blocks. Fans can purchase tickets for the Sunday, December 21 home game against the Boston Celtics. Tickets are available online starting at $27 each and make a perfect stocking stuffer for any basketball enthusiast.
12/9/14 - After dropping three consecutive games, the Miami Heat finally got a road win over a quality team. Chris Bosh poured in 34 points to help his team earn a victory over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, moving the Heat to a 10-11 record on the season. Luol Deng added 23 points on 9-12 shooting, as all five starters for Miami scored in double figures. The Suns committed 22 turnovers to leave the door open, and Bosh took over down the stretch, scoring 10 points in the fourth quarter to help Miami snap its losing streak and improve to 6-5 on the road. Next up for the Heat is a date with the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center on Wednesday night, with seats still available from Razorgator starting at just $9!
12/3/14 - The Miami Heat scored another victory on Sunday when they took on the New York Knicks. It was a very low scoring game, but the Heat only scored less than their opponents in one of the four quarters. The final score came to 86-79. This win brings Miami to 9-7. They sit at 3rd for the Southeast Division, however they are only two win shy of the Washington Wizards in the number 1 slot. All season, the Miami Heat has been inconsistent with their wins and losses, usually alternating without establishing a streak of any kind. Hopefully they will be able to change that as they take on the Atlanta Hawks and then start a series of away games. Tickets for the Heat/Hawks game start at $17.
11/26/14 - The Miami Heat scored their second win in a row after an incredibly close game against the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday. After being ahead by 9 at the half, a dismal third quarter left them trailing by 5 going into the final quarter. This is when Miami brought an unstoppable offence to score 27 points over the Hornets’ 21, bringing the final score to 94-93. This tense victory brings Miami to 8-6 and 2nd in their division. The Heat has been doing quite well this season, but they still have a long way to go if they want to catch up with the top team in their division, the Washington Wizards with 9-3. Be sure to follow the Heat as they take on that challenge starting with a home game against the Warriors on Tuesday. Tickets for $24.

After trailing by 10 at the half, Miami started make a comeback in the third quarter, but ultimately fell just slightly short. This brings them to 5-4. It wasn’t even two weeks ago that the Heat was in the top position of their division, but they currently sit in 3rd. They have a little battle ahead of them if they are to climb back to the top, but first they need to kick this losing streak. Be sure to catch them take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday to find out if they can turn it around. A few tickets are still available starting at $17.
11/14/14 - Following the departure of LeBron James for Cleveland, Miami Heat tickets still remain in high demand on the secondary market. The team still sees its secondary tickets exceed the $200 average for games at American Airlines Arena, according to Razorgator, making the Heat one of the most sought-after teams in the NBA. 11/12/14 - The Miami Heat is off to a very impressive start of the season, just winning their fifth game and second in a row. This 105-96 victory over the Dallas Mavericks puts Miami at 5-2. They were able to score more than Dallas in each of the first three quarters and a strong defense in the final period held their lead straight to the final buzzer. Luol Deng is still settling in as Heat’s new No. 3, but he seems to have the hang of things as he scored a season high 30 on Sunday. As they head to face the Indiana Pacers on their home court on the 12th, Los Angeles finds themselves in the top position of the Southeast Division. Tickets are available starting at $15.
11/11/14 - The Miami Heat have gotten off to a solid start this season with a 5-2 record as the new big three Luol Deng, Chris Bosh, and Dwyane Wade combined for 70 points in their last outing, a 105-96 victory over a formidable Western Conference opponent the Dallas Mavericks. The Heat look for their fifth consecutive NBA Finals appearance.
11/5/14 - With LeBron James out of the picture, Chris Bosh has returned to the forefront of the Miami Heat, helping the team gain another win against the Toronto Raptors Sunday. The 107-102 victory places the Heat as the only unbeaten team in the Eastern Conference, securely at the top of the Southeast standings. Bosh had 21 points, four assists and 11 rebounds in Sunday’s game and has taken over one of the starring roles on the team. Averaging over 25 points in the first three games of the season, Bosh just may be the player to watch this year. Wade made a nice block on Terrence Jones, got two rebounds, and had six assists. Troy Daniels scored with only 36 seconds left, winning the game at 88-83. Wade also had a good game against the Memphis Grizzlies three days later and finished with two assists, three rebounds and 16 points scored. Be sure to snag your tickets for Wednesday night's game. Tickets start at $29.

The Heat will now wait for the Indiana Pacers vs Washington Wizards series to wrap up before moving on to the Eastern Conference Finals.
5/12/14 - Tonight the Brooklyn Nets will try to even up their playoff series with defending NBA Champion Miami Heat who currently hold a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. 4/28/14 - Tonight the Miami Heat will look to sweep the Charlotte Bobcats and become the first team to advance to the second round of the 2014 NBA Playoffs. 4/25/14 - Tomorrow the Miami Heat will try to extend their winning streak to 18 games over the Charlotte Bobcats which dates all the way back to the beginning of the Big 3’s arrival in Miami. However after the way the Bobcats played in Game 2 of the series that streak might be in jeopardy. The Heat were barely able to come out of the game with a win after a furious run by Charlotte who will only play better in front of their home crowd in Game 3 which is averaging $325.
4/24/14 - In their Wednesday night playoff game the Charlotte Bobcats threw everything they had at the Miami Heat who took it like the defending champions they are and winning the game 101-97. With less than a 15 seconds to go Kemba Walker hit a 3-pointer to move them within one of the Heat but couldn’t get any closer as Miami pulled ahead on free throws to go up in the series two games to none as it heads to Charlotte for Game 3.
4/23/14 - Tonight the Miami Heat will play the second game of their playoff series against the Charlotte Bobcats after easily beating them the first time around 99-88. In that game Lebron James scored a game high 27 points as the Heat took a 1-0 series lead. When these two teams get together at American Airlines Arena tonight Miami Heat tickets will be going for $254 on average.
4/21/14 - The defending NBA Champion Miami Heat began their attempt to win a third straight title on Sunday when they played the Charlotte Bobcats. The game was tight early on but in the fourth quarter the Heat went on a 18-4 run to put them ahead for good. LeBron James scored a game high 27 points in the Heat win and with that last bucket was able to pass Larry “Legend” Bird for 8th place on the All-Time Playoff scoring list.
4/17/14 - Last night the Miami Heat closed out their regular season against the Philadelphia 76ers the same exact way they started it, with a loss. However this time the Heat did not play their normal starting lineup as they wanted to give Lebron James & Co. some rest before beginning the road for a third straight NBA Championship.
4/16/14 - The Miami Heat will play the Philadelphia 76ers tonight but don’t expect to see their normal starting five take the floor to start the game as head coach Erik Spoelstra will rest Lebron James and Chris Bosh to make sure they will be ready to go for a third straight NBA Championship. Despite the majority of their big three not playing in tonight’s season finale Miami Heat tickets are still averaging nearly $30 more tonight than their first round playoff game Friday night at $245.
4/15/14 - Tomorrow night the Miami Heat will close out yet another highly successful season when they play the Philadelphia 76ers, and will hope to finish better than they began the year against the 76ers before embarking on a quest for a third straight NBA Championship. Miami Heat tickets are going for $234 on Wednesday and $213 when they begin the playoffs.
4/14/14 - The Miami Heat are in danger of losing out on home court advantage for the NBA Playoffs after losing 98-85 on Saturday to the Atlanta Hawks to take them out of the drivers seat and now need some help to reclaim that top spot. Today the Heat head to the nations capital to play the Washington Wizards where tickets are averaging $166.
4/11/14 - The Miami Heat have a huge game tonight as the will host the Indiana Pacers who currently lead them by ½ a game for the top seed East and home court throughout the playoffs. It took a team effort to beat Miami on Wednesday but it will now be the Heat who need a team effort to overtake the surging Indiana Pacers whom they play tomorrow night.
4/9/14 - Last night the Brooklyn Nets traveled down to Miami to battle the Heat as they attempted beat them for the fourth time this year to pull the season sweep. With time running down the Heat turned to their MVP Lebron James who went in for a game winning dunk only to be rejected at the rim by Mason Plumlee of the Nets as time expired to lose the game 88-87. 4/7/14 - When the Miami Heat began yesterdays game they thought the key to the game would have been slowing down the New York Knicks All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony. Rather instead of Anthony the offense for New York flowed through swingman JR Smith who set an NBA record with 22 shots from behind the arc making 10 and scoring a team high 32 points. Smith would have won the game for the Knicks had they not been playing Lebron James who had an even better 38 points along the way to beat New York by a final score of 102-91.
4/4/14 - The Miami Heat are coming into tonight's game fresh off a day of rest after easily beating the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. Lebron will have his hands full trying to slow down All-Star forward Kevin Love of the Twolves who has quietly been having a stellar season.
4/3/14 - Two teams from the opposite spectrum of the NBA standings squared off last night as the league leading Miami Heat played the abysmal Milwaukee Bucks who are in dead last in the standings. As you could have guessed things played out just as their records indicated they would with the Heat putting a beatdown on the Bucks 96-77.
4/2/14 - Tonight when the Miami Heat play the Milwaukee Bucks there will be a huge disparity between the two teams. The Heat are arguably the best team in the NBA this year and have won the past two NBA Finals while the Bucks on the other hand are the worst team in the league this season with an abysmal 14 wins on the season.
4/1/14 - Monday was a good day for the Miami Heat. Last night the defending NBA Champions were able to beat the Toronto Raptors 93-83, but more importantly with that win the Heat were able to jump the Indiana Pacers for the top seed in the Eastern Conference. This was huge as they will need a home court advantage if they are going to win a seven game series against them.
3/31/14 - The Heat finished their three game road trip with a win yesterday, soundly defeating the Bucks 88-67. Chris Andersen led all rebounders with 14 and the high scorer for the Heat was Chris Bosh with just 14 points. Miami returns home for five games so grab your Heat tickets now!
3/28/14 - The Miami Heat have been slacking at a time when they need to be playing their best basketball of the season with the NBA Playoffs rapidly approaching. After losing their last contest to the extremely tough Indiana Pacers the Heat will look to avoid dropping two in a row tonight when they play the Detroit Pistons.
3/27/14 - The Miami Heat had a huge task at hand last night, to go on the road and beat the Eastern Conference leading Indiana Pacers on their home court. That task was just a bit too much for the Heat as they lost the back and forth game 84-83. Miami had a chance to win and was able to inbound the ball with just 2 seconds left for a chance to get a buzzer beater but Chris Bosh’s last second shot came up short of the basket as time expired.
3/26/14 - Tonight the biggest game of the week takes place between the Miami Heat and the Eastern Conference leading Indiana Pacers. This game will have two of the premier players in the NBA facing off against one another, between Lebron James and Paul George. The Heat have been struggling lately losing seven of their last twelve games and would like nothing more than to show the Pacers who the top team in the East is.
3/25/14 - You would be hard pressed to find a better basketball game than the one we saw last night between the Miami Heat and Portland Trail Blazers. Lebron James went off for 32 points in the contest, including the biggest two of the game which put the Heat up by two with just over 11 seconds left. Chris Bosh was then able to block Damian Lillard’s attempt to tie the game as time expired and sealed the Heat’s 93-91 victory.
3/24/14 - The Miami Heat may be the top team in the Eastern Conference but recently they have not been playing like it. On Saturday the Miami Heat succumbed to the New Orleans Pelicans 105-95 for their 7th loss in their last 11 games, a scary trend when considering the NBA Playoffs begin in less than a month. The Heat will look to kick this habit tonight when a very good Portland Trail Blazer team comes down to Miami.
3/21/14 - Tonight will be a bittersweet game for the Miami Heat when they welcome in the Memphis Grizzlies and former key contributor to their two NBA Championships Mike Miller. The sharpshooting swingman came to Miami in 2010 and was a vital part to winning those two titles but was cut this offseason by Pat Riley. Tonight will be his first game in South Beach since being waived and he will look to make the Heat rue the day they cut him.
3/20/14 - The Miami Heat saw a very rare occurance last night; Lebron James take the night off. King James took a seat at the end of the bench for this game to give his sore back a day of rest while his team ended up losing to the subpar Boston Celtics 101-96. This is a bad loss for the Heat as half of their losses this season have come against teams with a losing record as was the case last night. The Heat return home tomorrow to play the Memphis Grizzlies.
3/19/14 - Lebron returned home to Cleveland last night to play his former squad, the Cavaliers. King James left nothing to the imagination of what the Cavs could have had if he stayed in Cleveland as he went off for 43 points in the game with an amazing 25 of them coming in the first quarter alone. The Heat went on to win the contest 100-96 and will now travel to Boston to take on the lowly Celtics.
3/18/14 - Today Lebron James and company return to his hometown of Cleveland to play his former team, the Cavaliers. Anytime James goes back to his former stomping grounds it makes for must see television even though Cleveland is one of the worst teams in the NBA this season. The Miami Heat are hoping to lock up the top seed in the East and a win tonight will definitely help them come closer to attaining that goal.
3/17/14 - The Miami Heat had a huge game over the weekend when one of the top teams in the West, the Houston Rockets, came into town for a marquee matchup. This game was back and forth as the Rockets entered the Fourth Quarter with the lead but the Heat battled back and were able to go on a 13-0 run down the final stretch to seal the victory Sunday night.
3/14/14 - The Miami Heat will look to avoid dropping five of their last six games tonight when the Denver Nuggets travel to Miami play this very important game if the Heat hope to earn the top seed in the East come playoff time. Miami is currently two games behind the Indiana Pacers for the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference but can close that gap tonight with a victory over a tired Nuggets team who will play in their fourth consecutive road game.
3/12/14 - Lebron James and Dwyane Wade were able to end their losing streak in their last game by beating the Wizards on Monday and now will look to start a winning streak when they host the Brooklyn Nets tonight. When Brooklyn heads to South Beach tonight they will not only be looking for their first win in Miami this year, but rather their first win in Miami in more than six years which is why you might see Kevin Garnett return to action for the Nets after sitting out the last six games with a back injury.
3/11/14 - Dwyane Wade has started to play great at just the right time for the Miami Heat who were able to pick up yet another win on Monday to give them a total of 44 this season as he was able to score 13 points in the 4th to edge out the Washington Wizards last night. Wade has struggle to stay healthy at times this season but it will be his play that will be the catalyst for the Heat to attempt to “threepeat” for the first time since the Lakers did it in the early 2000’s.
3/10/14 - Sunday might have been the Heats most exciting game in quite some time as Miami pushed a Chicago Bulls team to its limit before falling short in overtime this weekend. Dwyane Wade scored a game high 25 points in the contest but it was the guard play on the other side of the ball that had the bigger impact as DJ Augustin provided a much needed boost scoring 22 points off the bench for the Bull. Tonight the Heat return home to American Airlines Arena to play John Wall and the Washington Wizards.
3/7/14 - On Thursday night the Heat played the very talented San Antonio Spurs in front of a sold out crowd as they met for the first time in Texas since Game 5 of the NBA Finals. This rematch of last years NBA Finals didn’t turn out in Miami’s favor this time after getting behind from the get go and never being able to close the gap despite Chris Bosh and Lebron James combining for 53 points 15 rebounds and 8 assists. The Heat will try to stop this losing skid at two games so expect them come out with a purpose when they travel to Chicago to play the Bulls.
3/6/14 - Tonight, the Miami Heat have one of their toughest games of the season when they travel to San Antonio to play Tim Duncan and the Spurs in a rematch of last year’s NBA Finals. These two teams are a combined 87 - 31 and are going to be the favorites to reach the NBA Final yet again in their respective conferences when the playoffs come around.
3/5/14 - The Heat played what could be a future preview of this year’s NBA Finals last night when they battled the surging Houston Rockets who have played better than anyone else in the league since the start of 2014. The Rockets took the game 106-103 but the Heat have to feel good about how they played considering it was their second game in two nights. Dwayne Wade was their leading scorer notching a game high 24 points in the loss.
3/4/14 - Lebron James had his best night ever when he was able to score a career high of 61 points against the Charlotte Bobcats on last night, shooting an incredible 22 for 33 and 8 of 8 from three point. With the best player on the planet having his best game ever, LeBron James is still front and center in the MVP race this season but will need to continue playing like this if he is going to catch Kevin Durant.
3/3/14 - While LeBron James’s mask has been getting all the recent headlines, the Heat continue to dominate, winning their 7th in a row Saturday night against the Orlando Magic. Dwayne Wade led with 24 points and James lead the Heat with 9 rebounds and 7 assists. With a new clear mask, James was the same superhero that he usually is on the court, contributing 20 points in a 14 point victory at home.
2/24/14 - The Miami Heat returned home to American Airlines Arena on February 23 after 20 days on the road, and there were some changes in order. Coach Erik Spoelstra decided to give LeBron James (swollen nose) a rest in the Heat’s game against Chicago, and in the starting lineup was recently acquired center Greg Oden. The oft-injured Oden played just 15 minutes, registering five points and five rebounds; fellow center Chris Bosh led the way for the Heat, pouring in 28 points and collecting 10 rebounds, as did Dwyane Wade to go along with his 23 points in Miami’s dominant 93-79 win.
2/18/14 - Miami’s threesome of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh all tallied in last weekend’s All Star Game, with James leading the way. LBJ contributed 22 points (third on the East squad) and seven rebounds (most for the East) in 33 minutes of play; while Wade chipped in 10 points in 12 minutes, and Bosh five points in 10 minutes. The Heat came out of the break 2 1/2 games behind conference leading Indiana.
2/5/14 - LeBron James may have fallen two rebounds shy of a triple-double in the Miami Heat’s victory over Detroit, but it was guard Dwyane Wade who had the best night for the defending champs with his own double-double. After sitting out four games to rest his knees, Wade rang up 30 points and 10 rebounds against the Pistons, both team highs. Interestingly enough, when the Three Amigos of Wade, James, and Chris Bosh combine for at least 70 points among themselves, the Heat are 5-0 – all at home.
1/31/14 - It was about this time last season that the Miami Heat finally caught fire as a team in their inexorable march to the NBA title, and it certainly looks as though they are poised to repeat history, having gone 4-1 in their last five games (the lone loss coming on the road at Atlanta. Among upcoming games is a February 5 trip to Los Angeles to meet the Clippers, whom the Heat dispatched handily in November, just a few days after a weekend tilt in Manhattan against the New York Knicks.
1/21/14 - With yesterday’s loss to the Hawks, 114-121, the Miami Heat are 5-5 over their last ten, uncharacteristic for the two-time defending champs who are looking to achieve dynasty status. Though their defense failed in Atlanta (snapping their nine-game win streak over the Hawks), Miami is still well ahead of Southeast Division contenders, and 2nd in the Conference at four games behind Indiana. The hottest upcoming game on schedule is Feb 1 when the Heat meet the New York Knicks on the road during Super Bowl weekend: tickets are expectedly high, starting at a lofty $151 in the 400 Level of Madison Square Garden. Tonight, the Heat will look for revenge against Brooklyn, whom they lost to on Jan 10. See the LeBron James vs. Jeff Green rematch, with captain Rajon Rondo in the mix after returning from injury—you can get into this rivalry match for $84 if you buy tickets now! Miami will take on the Lakers this Thurs (get-in for $77), followed by Tony Parker and the Spurs on Sunday (get-in for $114) and Kevin Durant and the OKC Thunder on Wed (get-in for $90). 3/29/13 - The Heat clinched a top seed in the Eastern Conference with a win over the New Orleans Hornets. The Big 3 and the Miami Heat dominated in March and finished with the most wins by any team during a single month in NBA history.
3/22/13 - The Miami Heat are one of six NBA teams who have clinched a Playoff berth and the first to clinch their Division. Currently on a 24-game winning streak, Miami has the hottest ticket on the secondary market averaging $376 for the remainder of the season. The most expensive game left on the Heat schedule is against the New York Knicks with a get-in price of $114. NBA Playoffs First Round tickets at American Airlines Arena are averaging $461. Watch the Heat live as they try and break the Lakers' 33-game winning streak.
2/14/14 - Say what you want about LeBron James, but his arrival in Miami has turned the Miami Heat into a permanent contender for the NBA title. Along with his teammates Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, James and the Heat have made two forays into the NBA Finals, being blitzed by Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks in 2011, and then getting the job done over the athletic but young Oklahoma City Thunder in 2012. If anyone thought that LBJ couldn't get any better or more motivated once winning his first title with the Heat, guess again — he leads the team in not only points per game, but rebounding, steals AND assists. (Bosh leads in blocked shots). Mario Chalmers and Udonis Haslem are generally in the starting lineup along with the Big Three, while veteran Ray Allen is the valuable sixth man off the bench. If Erik Spoelstra's team has a weakness, it is in general their rebounding, as they currently stand dead last in the league, 30th out of 30 teams in rebounds per game.
But if the Heat keep playing the way they are, the fans who occupy the seats at the American Airlines Arena have little to worry about, except what to wear to the parade through South Beach. Miami Heat tickets at home average $183, currently the fourth most expensive NBA tickets behind the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Oklahoma City Thunder. Cheap Heat tickets at AA Arena can be found in the 300 and 400 levels for less than $50. The Miami Heat continue to be most popular visiting team in the NBA during the 2013 season. On the road, the price of Heat basketball tickets averages $233, almost $40 more per ticket than the second most popular road team, the Los Angeles Lakers. Orlando Magic, Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks.
Miami Heat 2014-2015 Season
The Miami Heat made NBA history when the team advanced to a fourth consecutive NBA Finals—though the 2013-2014 campaign was one for the ages, their bid for a three-peat was shot to the ground by the San Antonio Spurs. Eric Spoelstra’s squad swept Charlotte, lost one to Brooklyn, and beat Indiana 4-2, before the worn-out Heat fizzled against San Antonio. Of course, none of that matters now, with a very different Miami Heat—and league—lining courts in the East this season. The shockwave jump heard ‘round the world landed this summer when LeBron James spurned South Beach for a spot on his hometown roster in Cleveland.
The dust has yet to settle on the Miami Heat’s bustling offseason, but the franchise is already toting a totally new-look roster. Miami also landed solid players like Josh McRoberts and Danny Granger, not to mention the draft-night scoop of Shabazz Napier so far this summer.
