San Francisco Giants News

After losing the first two of three games, the third game against the Pirates looked like it would be the San Francisco Giants' to win. Matt Cain started on the mound and only let the Pirates get one hit in four innings. The Giants scored four runs early, thanks to an RBI single from Buster Posey and an RBI double from Brandon Crawford in the first and a triple from Crawford in the third that brought in two runs. However, the Pirates found their groove in the fifth to score six runs, and the Giants were only able to get one more. The Giants host the Mets for four games starting on the 18, and tickets are available for $8 and up.

The San Francisco Giants went 1-2 in their latest three game series against the Orioles that started on August 12. After losing the first game 5-2, the Giants took control in game two. Madison Bumgarner was on the mound, had seven shutout innings. Denard Span had two singles that brought in two runs each and Brandon Belt hit a home run that also brought in two runs. The Giants were leading in game three 7-1, but then the Orioles rallied late in the game and took the victory. The Giants next host the Pirates for three games starting on the 15th and then the Mets. You can still get tickets for $9 and up.

After going 2-2 in a four game series against the Nationals, the San Francisco Giants lost in their first of three against the Phillies on August 2. The Phillies had an early lead, and then the Giants found their groove with a five run fifth inning, followed by two more in the sixth to tie the game. However, the Phillies scored five in the eighth to take the victory. There was also excitement during the game when the home-plate umpire ejected a fan from the game after he shouted a lewd comment. The two teams play twice more on the 3 and 4, and then the Giants once again play the Nationals, this time in Washington. You can still get tickets for prices starting at $30.

Despite a solid effort, the San Francisco Giants lost all three games in their latest three game series against the Padres. After losing 4-1 in the first game, game 2 went ten innings in a nail biter. The Giants rallied to tie the game in the sixth inning and send it to overtime. Then, it looked like the Giants just might win after Buster Posey homered. However, the Padres came out and scored two runs to win the game. The third game was also close, with the Giants trying to rally but coming up short. They play two games against the Red Sox on the 19 and 20, with tickets available starting at $31.

The San Francisco Giants beat the Diamondbacks 2-1 in their latest three game series. All three games were close, with the first game going the Giants' way with a final score of 6-4. The Diamondbacks won the second game 6-5. The third game had to go to eleven innings before the Giants scored the winning run. The Giants had an early lead, but the Diamondbacks equalized in the eighth, sending it into overtime. Ramiro Pena hit a double in the eleventh that brought in the winning run. The Giants have started out their next series against the Rockies with a victory, and the two teams play twice more in San Francisco on the 5 and 6. Tickets are available starting at $10.

The San Francisco Giants broke their eight game winning streak with a 1-0 loss against the Pirates. Madison Bumgarner was on the mound for the Giants, and this was his first loss since April 20. Bumgarner only allowed five hits, but unfortunately one of those was a homer in the fifth inning. The homer went just over the left field wall and was almost snagged by Angel Pagan. Pagan had the ball in his glove but was unable to hold onto it. The Giants will look to get back to their winning ways when they play the Pirates for three more games on the 21, 22 and 23. You can still get tickets for $10 and up.

After going 2-2 against the Braves, the San Francisco Giants started off their three game series against the Cardinals strong with a 5-1 win despite the absence of Hunter Pence, who might miss as much as eight weeks due to a hamstring injury. Johnny Cueto was on the mound and held the Cardinals to just one unearned run despite some back issues. However, the Giants fell to the Cardinals in the next two games to lose the series 1-2. The Giants next head home to host the Red Sox for two games starting on the 7, followed by a three game series at home against the Dodgers. You can still get tickets, with prices starting at $24.

The San Francisco Giants are looking great this season as they top the leader board in the NL West division. They hold tightly to the number one spot with three wins ahead of the Colorado Rockies. Winning their last five games in a row, the Giants are on a high and hope to hold on to their winning streak. They start a new three-game series against the San Diego Padres on May 17, which wraps up on May 19. Don’t miss your chance to catch two California teams duke it out on the field this week. Tickets are still up for grabs and start at an affordable $21 a seat.

The San Francisco Giants are starting to click and now is the time to get tickets and see if this club has what it takes to keep their even-year magic alive. The top of the Giants’ rotation has been stellar, having gotten back on track against the Reds after a rough series against the Mets. After losing five straight in mid-April, the offense has come alive and the team is back over .500. The G-Men have an interleague showdown as the Toronto Blue Jays visit AT&T Park starting on May 9. Madison Bumgarner takes the mound on Wednesday, May 11 for a day game, and tickets are available starting at less than $10.

The San Francisco Giants have had at least one home run in each of their opening eight games, and the superstitious nature of some baseball lovers has many calling this a good omen for the 2016 season. Others are calling it a fluke, but no matter what you think, it’s made for great baseball. Giants fans are anxiously keeping their eyes on the coming games, and what’s better than being there in person! The team will head south this weekend for a series at LA, but will be back early next week for a run against the Diamondbacks at At&T Park. Tickets for all games, whether home or away, are available from us today!

The 2016-2017 MLB season is in full swing as many teams played their first game of the season on Tuesday, April 5. This included the San Francisco Giants who took on the Milwaukee Brewers. The Giants pitchers didn’t have a great game on the mound, but this didn’t transpire in the final 12-3 score for the Giants. Offensively, the Giants were unstoppable, which proved to be true when they hit back-to-back homers in the eighth inning. See if the good juices continue to flow when they play the Brewers again on April 6 starting at 12:40 p.m. Tickets range from $4-$43, making it an extremely affordable game to attend so don’t miss your chance.

Spring training has been confusing for the San Francisco Giants and fans alike. Going into the off-season, the Giants took to a strategy enlisting big names associated with even bigger money to create an indomitable lineup. Unfortunately, things have looked less than promising during Spring Training, although the Giants did managed to beat the Colorado Rockies 10 – 4 in a recent wallop. Will they be able to keep the steam going heading into Opening Day? Find out on Thursday, April 7 when the Los Angeles Dodgers come to visit AT&T Park. Tickets are still available for purchase and can be found for prices starting at $113 and up. Don’t miss it!

The San Francisco Giants are back. The new season is going to kick off on April 4th, but you don’t have to wait that long to catch the Giants in action.
