Young The Giant Tickets

Indie rock darlings Young the Giant are playing a small collection of venues and Razorgator has Young the Giant tickets available. The Los Angeles-based group formed in 2004 under the name The Jakes and played small indie shows including shows at the famous indie music festival South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. The group changed their name in 2009, and released their eponymous Young the Giant album in 2010 digitally and 2011 on physical copies. Thanks to exposure on the MTV Video Music Awards and touring and opening for fellow L.A. band Incubus, the album reached number 42 in the Billboard 200 chart. Their singles “My Body,” and “Cough Syrup” reached number five and number three on the U.S. Alternative charts respectively. The Young the Giant tour will be hitting the northeast this summer, and the group will also make a quick stop to the L.A. area before heading back up north. Young the Giant Tour News and Updates

Young the Giant’s success propelled them out of the indie music scene and into the rock foreground with breakout singles “Cough Syrup” and “Your Body.” No strangers to the road, the boys starting performing in dive bars around Orange County while in high school, have toured in support of Minus the Bear and Incubus across continents, and are now primed for a huge headlining tour of their own.

The indie-rockers will be on the road to support the drop of their sophomore album, “Mind Over Matter” in late January. Southern Californians born and bred, the five-piece group are kicking off their tour in Ventura before playing three more shows in the Golden State, including Oakland, Hollywood and San Diego. From there the boys will tackle their monstrous 40-date tour, with stops in Phoenix, Baltimore, Atlanta, Boston, New York, Nashville, before heading up to Canada for a number of weeks. YTG will close out their tour in April when they play and party for a night in Las Vegas.

The group’s sound blends the best of alternative, punk and synth into catchy melodies characterized by pining literary lyrics. Comfortable with the band’s growing popularity, frontman Sameer Gadhia and YTG consciously stay true to their indie roots, as seen in their latest indie anthem singles “It’s About Time” and “Crystallized.” Rock out at one of their raucous concerts when you score some Young the Giant tickets today!
