12/9/14 - Hip-hop star Usher is in line to add a new award to his eight Grammys. In 2015, BET will honor him with the Musical Arts Award to commemorate his twenty years as a singer/songwriter. From his days coaching budding artists on ‘The Voice,’ the public learned that Usher knows his craft. His talents are not just vocal, however. Reviews from early stops on his tour declare that his dancing is also phenomenal. He is confident on stage, and his moves have traces of Michael Jackson’s style. Usher’s #URXTour continues in Florida, with shows in Orlando, Miami, and Tampa between December 12-14. Tickets for his shows start at just $38. 12/5/14 - Usher takes Texas by storm this week with two shows on the docket in the Lone Star state. Fresh from a show in Colorado on December 2, the R&B singer has just launched his #URXTour. Featuring special guests August Alsina, DJ Cassidy and Nico Vinz, the tour has been receiving rave reviews. The Texas shows are part of only a handful of U.S. dates on the tour. The rest of the tour will take Usher and his band to Europe, where he’ll play a string of shows before wrapping up in March 2015.

11/26/14 - Usher has been making music professionally since he was just 14, but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t use a little inspiration. While in Chicago on his OMG tour, Usher spent an hour Sunday night at the “David Bowie Is” exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Usher brought his kids along to see the exhibition, which features 400 photos, album artwork and rare performance materials from Bowie’s career. Usher called the exhibit, and Bowie himself, inspiring. Usher wore a Davy Crockett-style raccoon hat to the exhibit, and kept it on for a drive through Los Angeles Thursday. Keep an eye out for the favorite headpiece when he plays in western Canada and Colorado this month, before finishing up his tour in mid-December in Florida. Tickets are still available for $47.
11/21/14 - Superstar Usher heads across the Midwest in November with upcoming performances in Chicago, IL and St. Paul, MN. Drawing from his eighth studio album, UR, The UR Experience began on November 1, 2014 in Quebec and is slated to hit 27 cities before ending in Tampa, FL on December 14. Critics have compared the R&B and urban feel of the album to Usher’s 2004 album, Confessions. The lead single, “Good Kisser,” was recently performed on the star’s hit show, The Voice. The star began performing at age 11 and competed on Star Search at the age of 13. He released his debut album, Usher, in 1994. He is also known for discovering teen sensation Justin Bieber. Tickets for the November 20 performance in Chicago begin at $69.
