Sleigh Bells 2013 Tour
Sleigh Bells is heading out on tour this Fall in support of their third studio album Bitter Rivals due out October 8. The Brooklyn band will play major theatres across the States including: El Rey Theater in Los Angeles (avg. $81), the Metro in Chicago (avg. $85), and Terminal 5 in the group’s home state of New York. Doldrums will be the supporting act on the Sleigh Bells tour which totals twenty-nine concerts from October 4 – November 22. Hip Hop artist Danny Brown will perform at the final show of the tour in New York. The average price of Sleigh Bells concert tickets is $72.
Expect to hear new music from the noise pop band on tour. “Bitter Rivals”, “Tiger Kit”, and “Sing Like a Wire” are among the ten tracks on the Sleigh Bells forthcoming album. The LP was mixed by Andrew Dawson who worked on Kayne West’s latest album Yeezus. Vocalist Alexis Krau says to expect “gang vocals, the really vicious, brutal production, and the hooky, melodic element in the chorus." Many of the Sleigh Bells lyrics for Bitter Rivals were written on the band’s recent tour that supported last year’s Reign of Terror.
