After recording two albums and leaving the group in 2007, Skrillex became a solo artist producing electronic music under his real name Sonny Moore. It was in 2008 that Moore started performing in L.A. clubs under the alias Skrillex, and in 2010 released his debut EP My Name is Skrillex. Singles like “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites,” and “Bangarang” have peaked at number three on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. The dubstep star has since released four EPs under the Skrillex moniker, and has collaborated with other artists like Korn and Kaskade.
