Say Anything Tour News and Updates

Say Anything was founded while band members Max Bemis (frontman/multi-instrumentalist) and Coby Linder (drums) were still high schoolers in Los Angeles. The two provide the core of the group, with string of stand-ins on accompanying instruments. Say Anything emerged on the music scene with the release of two self-produced and self-released EPs in the early 2000s, exhibiting the pop-punk genre of Blink 182 and Saves the Day. Bemis later shifted towards a more angsty "punk rock musical" style, palpable in 2004's sophomore album …Is A Real Boy, and lead single "Alive With the Glory of Love." The popular song gained traction due its touching inspiration (Bemis' grandparents who survived the holocaust) and its fearless sound.

Due to Bemis' bipolar disorders, frequent bouts of stress and eventual nervous collapse after the release of their successful album, Say Anything was forced to cancel two tours. Luckily, the band signed with J Records that same year, and the re-issue of …Is A Real Boy garnered even more popularity and won the band a national headlining tour. Since then, Bemis has worked on Two Tongues (with Saves the Day's Chris Conley) and Perma (with wife Sherri DePree of band Eisley) and Say Anything released two more albums.

The band is working on their forthcoming sixth record, Hebrews, the first self-produced album since their breakout effort, and their "favorite" work yet. Hebrews is set to release later this year, accompanied by a full US tour with The Front Bottoms and The So So Glos as openers. Say Anything will kick things off June 13 in Dallas hit 36 cities, closing July 27 in Tempe. Get your Say Anything tickets now and hear the group's all-new music live this summer!
