Rolling Stones 2015 Zip Code Tour
6/25/15 - Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and the rest of the Rolling Stones had the privilege of kicking off the much-anticipated Summerfest music festival in Milwaukee, WI on Tuesday night. In fact, the event was one of the most-hyped performances in recent history for the city of Milwaukee. The Stones played at a sold-out, thrilling show at Marcus Amphitheater, which was filled to the brim with 25,000 fans in attendance. Ironically, this was also the smallest show and venue for the Stones along their Zip Code Tour! The band was also joined on stage by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Concert Chorale, who sang back up to Jagger for an angelic performance of “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.” The Stones’ next show is this Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
6/17/15 - It’s always a pleasure to see Mick Jagger and the rest of the Rolling Stones live in concert, but fans in attendance at tonight’s show in Nashville are in for an extra special treat. The Stones are known for having eclectic cameos and guest performers at their shows, and tonight’s concert is no different. Not only will they perform alongside guest act Brad Paisley, they’ll also kick things off with a performance by the Belmont University Chorale. This ensemble is a select group of two-dozen university students, and they’re about to have the experience of their lives as they sing along with the legendary Mick Jagger. There’s no word on what the Chorale will perform, but we can only hope it’s the backup to “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.” Find out at tonight’s show!
6/9/15 - Singing on stage with the Rolling Stones is probably on a lot of peoples’ bucket lists, but for one college choir, that dream came true this last weekend. Twenty four students at the University of Texas at Arlington got to perform alongside some true rock and roll legends for a rendition of “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” at the AT&T Center. Mick Jagger praised the choir after the eight-minute performance, and even snapped a picture with his phone. Members of the lucky group were required to keep complete secrecy about the opportunity which was hard, but totally worth it. The Rolling Stones continue their 2015 “Zip Code” tour on Friday, June 12 at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida. Tickets are available from us for $85.
6/4/15 - Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and the rest of the legendary Rolling Stones are having an incredible week. They put on a high-energy performance at the TCF Stadium in Minneapolis on Wednesday night, thrilling the sold out crowd by opening with long time fan favorite “Jumping Jack Flash.” They proved the term “World’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band” isn’t just a tagline; the guys are still rocking out well into their 70s. Jagger seemed as sprightly as ever, spending a large portion of the show jumping, prancing, leaping, and generally moving around with enthusiasm. The Stones are also celebrating the rerelease of their hit album Sticky Fingers, which debuts next week. The Stones’ next show takes place this Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. Don’t miss it!
5/28/15 - Just over a week remains until the release of the revamped album, Sticky Fingers, from rockers the Rolling Stones. The work will include an alternate version of “Dead Flowers,” a song that was featured on the original record and released in 1971. The new recording of the tune is much more rock and roll and a lot less country, as Mick Jagger sings it without the Southern twang that he used in the ’70s. The album is due out June 9. The Stones are also currently on tour in the United States, and they are slated to perform at the Ohio Stadium venue in Columbus on Saturday, May 30. Come see them live along with opener Kid Rock with tickets from us! Prices start at just $34.
5/14/15 - Rock legends the Rolling Stones are observing a special anniversary today as they prepare to embark on their Zip Code tour in less than two weeks. Today marks the 50th anniversary of when the Stones recorded their iconic single “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.” Guitarist Keith Richards first created the famous guitar riff after reportedly hearing it in a dream. He recorded the chord progression while half asleep at the Gulf Motel in Clearwater, FL in 1965 on a tape cassette, which at the time was groundbreaking technology. Lead singer Mick Jagger quickly wrote the lyrics to the worldwide hit after hearing the recording, which Richards played for him the very next day. Come hear this legendary song live when the Stones kick off their Zip Code Tour on May 24 in San Diego, CA.
5/6/15 - When you belong to a band like the Rolling Stones, it’s not hard to get people to listen to what you have to say. After the devastating earthquake in Nepal, Mick Jagger is putting that influence to good use by urging fans to donate to a charity called “Save the Children.” He teamed up with members of Pink Floyd to record a single titled “Save the Children (Look Into Your Heart).” All proceeds will go to the survivors of the tragedy via the humanitarian organization and you can do your part by downloading the song. You should also make plans to see the Rolling Stones in concert in a city near you! They will be in San Diego on May 24 to perform at the PetCo Park venue. We have your tickets for that show for $211 and up.
4/29/15 - Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and the rest of the iconic Rolling Stones are set to take the stage later this spring on their highly anticipated 2015 Zip Code Tour, but not before unveiling a few surprises for fans. The group recently released an alternate edit of their song “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking” as well as an acoustic version of “Wild Horses.” Both releases are stripped-down versions of fan favorites, which serve to reassert that Jagger, Richards, and the rest of the Stones are truly pure, incredible writers and players. The group will reissue their wildly successful album Sticky Fingers on June 9 along with a wealth of quality extra material that is sure to delight even Stones fans who think they’ve heard it all.
4/8/15 - Rolling Stones Zip Code tour presales have started today for Columbus, OH (Ohio Stadium); Arlington, TX (AT&T Stadium); Orlando, FL (Citrus Bowl); Nashville, TN (LP Field); Pittsburgh, PA (Heinz Field); Milwaukee, WI (Marcus Amphitheater Summerfest); Kansas City, MO (Arrowhead Stadium); Raleigh, NC (Carter Finley Stadium); Indianapolis, IN (Indianapolis Motor Speedway); Orchard Park, NY (Ralph Wilson Stadium).
