Phish Tour News and Updates

The band Phish is hitting the road this summer to play in numerous gigs across the country. The band will begin their tour in the Twin Cities on June 22. It has been 16 years since the band has played in St. Paul, which has been disappointing to all Phish fans. Mike Gordon, Phish’s bassist explained that 25 years ago the band would tour for 9 months straight allowing them to get to more locations. However, now they tour for six-week periods and hit up as many big cities as they possibly can. They are definitely doing that as they are scheduled to perform in Chicago, Philadelphia and Portland. Catch all of the action live when you purchase your tickets from Razorgator today.

Music fans will be happy to know that a brand new Phish album is one step closer to release! Although no date has been given for the debut, drummer Jon Fishman confirmed that the album is finished recording. The group has been fairly quiet since the end of their 2015 tour, announcing last August that they were studio bound. Since then they’ve been hard at work, though Fishman has taken some time to do campaign on behalf of democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Phish will be hitting the road this summer, ready to jam with audiences across the United States. June 22 you can see them at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. Tickets start at only $42.

There are not many things that a musician likes to do more than playing music, but talking about music may come close. Phish leading man Trey Anastasio recently spoke about his experience touring with the Grateful Dead this summer. He stated, “It was amazing. I was freaking out. I loved it.” Now that he’s back with his own band, he is celebrating the release of a brand new music video for “Lever Boy,” a psychedelic animation worthy of the likes of Anastasio. Phish has also kept pretty busy wrapping up their summer tour. The fun isn’t over, however, they will be back on the stage in December for New Year’s Eve at Madison Square Garden.

8/6/15 - The jam sessions are in full swing as Phish has officially started their summer 2015 tour. Known for being an impressive live band, no two shows are alike, and that fact is cemented by their devout following, which often will travel from city to city with the band without ever getting bored. At a recent concert in Nashville, the band announced that they would return to the music-friendly city to record an album after the tour is over. Before they do that, however, they still have 18 shows left to do! On Friday, Aug. 7, they will be performing at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. We have tickets on sale now, but quantities are limited, so you need to act quickly. Prices for lawn seating start at $73.

7/30/15 - Did you catch Phish last night? The legendary rockers played the first of two shows in Texas at the Austin360 Amphitheater on Tuesday. This is the group’s first visit to Texas since 2010. It’s also the first time they’ve played a two-set show in the Lone Star State since 1999. Despite their absence, the guys managed to make up for it by putting on an action-packed performance that included over 25 songs from their lengthy history together. They played several hits including “Party Time,” “Free,” “Halley’s Comet” “Wolfman’s Brother,” and Run Like An Antelope.” If you missed the show last night, you’ll have the chance to see Phish again tonight in Grand Prairie, TX at the Verizon Theatre. Tickets are limited and start at just $34.

7/9/15 - The time is nearly here for fans of the jam band Phish to tour. Fans have been waiting for months, but it is now just a few weeks away. Beginning on July 21st, Phish will be playing two shows in Bend, Oregon, two nights in a row. Then, they will move south and play in Mountain View and Inglewood, California. For the time being, those four shows will be it for the west coast, so if you are excited to see them live, be sure to catch one of those. There are still plenty of tickets for the two California shows, but the Oregon shows are nearly sold out. This is likely your last chance if you were planning on catching Phish in Bend, Oregon.

4/17/15 - While it will still be several months before patient fans have the chance to see iconic jam band Phish perform live, the rockers just released something that will tide them over until July. The guys recently released a brand new archival recording of their show on December 12, 1992 at Toronto’s The Spectrum. It was the group’s only show at the venue and their second-ever performance in Canada. Fans can purchase the archival show footage via the band’s website. If you prefer the real deal, come catch Phish live when they kick off their long awaited summer tour in Bend, OR at the Les Schwab Amphitheater on July 21 and July 22. Tickets are still available to both shows in extremely limited quantities, so act fast!

4/8/15 - Phish fans are all geared up to enjoy a full summer concert schedule. In addition to the band’s 2015 tour, Mike Gordon, the bass player and vocalist for the group, has announced a month-long solo tour that will begin June 5 in Charleston, SC at the Charleston Music Hall. His show is sure to be just as psychedelic, intricate, and full of improvisational jams as your typical Phish concert. He will reunite with the band in late July. There are two scheduled shows at the Les Schwab Ampitheatre in Bend, OR on July 21 and 22. Due to the strong following of this talented group, there are only a very limited number of tickets left, but they are still available at this point. Snag yours today starting at $168.
