Paul Simon Tour News and Updates

Four years have passed since Paul Simon has been on tour, and that’s just been way too long! Luckily, he’s announced that the drought will end this spring. Starting off by playing the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, Simon will weave his way through the U.S. and Canada, ending the tour on July 1 at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York. A brand new album titled Stranger To Stranger can also be expected in the coming months. After infamously splitting up with singing partner Art Garfunkel more than 45 years ago, Paul Simon has gone on to have a rich and rewarding solo career with both commercial and critical success. Tickets for all scheduled shows are on sale now!
… more

Paul Simon, originally of Simon & Garfunkel, is known as “The Great Wordsmith” for his lyrical genius and immeasurable influence in music. Simon’s work as a talented guitarist and an initiator in the folk revival of the 1960s has garnered him the Kennedy Center Honor and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Across his illustrious career, Simon breathed life into apartheid South Africa with album “Graceland” and provided unforgettable sound to film, The Graduate, but now, you can hear all your favorites, including “Mrs. Robinson” and “The Sound of Silence” first-hand. This Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will be back on the road very soon, joining longtime friend and neighbor, Sting, for the ultimate dream-team rock tour!

After playing a benefit concert together over a year ago, the duo’s musical chemistry was so remarkable, plans to embark on a joint tour started immediately. Between the two rock icons, there are 28 Grammy Awards and nimble guitar skills to leave anyone floored. Sting & Paul Simon: On Stage Together is a music lovers fantasy, and has already garnered comparisons to Elton John and Billy Joel’s tag-team repertoire. On tour, Sting and Simon will perform individually, as well as take turns singing songs from each other’s canon: through rehearsals, Sting has taken “Bridge Over Troubled Water” while Simon lends his vocals to “Fields of Gold” and many more.

So far, the musicians have booked a string of just 18 dates, kicking off Feb 8 in Houston, TX and running through Mar 16 in Washington, DC. There will be three concerts in California: 2/15 in Los Angeles ($102 to get-in), 2/16 in Anaheim ($66 to get-in) and 2/17 in San Jose ($85 to get-in), and there are two shows in New York City at Madison Square Garden (get-in for $151 on 3/4, or $185 on 3/6) . This once-in-a-lifetime bill features unbelievable collaborations you will sorely miss if you don’t secure Paul Simon tickets soon!
