One Direction Tour News and Updates
2015 On the Road Again Tour
9/1/15 - One Direction fans could certainly use a piece or two of good news. The band’s liege of followers have been a little depressed since the guys announced they will take an indefinite break once their current tour ends. Despite the bleak absence from touring and recording, the year 2016 won’t go without its accolades, as the foursome will be honored with an impressive six Guinness World Records, including one for having the biggest fan base on Twitter. With a whopping 23.3 million followers on the social networking site, 1D should realize just how much they are loved. Be sure to catch their show in Buffalo, New York this Thursday, Sept. 3 at the Ralph Wilson Stadium. Tickets are in-demand, but we do have some still available starting at just $45.
8/26/15 - Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably have heard the alarming news that boy super group One Direction are officially planning to take a one year hiatus starting after their On The Road Again Tour wraps up later this month. Fans everywhere are shocked by the news, especially given that the guys reported being just fine following the departure of former band mate Zayn Malik. The guys have tried to reassure fans, saying that the break will not be permanent. They simply want to take some time to refresh and potentially even explore solo projects before rejoining one year later. Regardless of what happens, you may only have eight more chances to see 1D live before their tour concludes in Foxborough, MA on September 12.
8/21/15 - Liam Payne of One Direction is one of the hottest singers in the world these days, but that doesn’t mean life is easy for him. After some comments at a recent concert, he was accused of being a homophobic. Now, he has taken to Twitter to defend himself, stating that what he said was simply misconstrued. He also apologized for the misunderstanding saying, “I’m sorry to those I offended.” Thankfully, none of this drama will affect the band’s touring schedule, much to the delight of the droves of 1D fans. They will perform at Rogers Arena in Toronto on Thursday (Aug. 20) and then travel to Chicago, Illinois, for a show at Soldier Field. Tickets for both shows are available for purchase now, starting at $39 and $52, respectively.
8/6/15 - Fans of One Direction have been anxiously awaiting new music for some time now, and that wish has finally been fulfilled! They have officially performed their brand new single, “Drag Me Down,” live for the first time in Central Park as a part of Good Morning America. The huge crowd sang along as Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne took turns singing lead vocals. If you live in the area of Baltimore, Maryland, you can be a part of the next screaming crowd and sing along to all of 1D’s greatest hits. They will be live on stage at the M & T Bank Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 8 and we still have some tickets available with prices starting at just $43.
7/30/15 - If losing band-mate Zayn Malik couldn’t stop them, nothing will. One Direction and their fans proved just how true that sentiment was last night at an unforgettable performance at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium. It was one of the hottest days on record for the city, but that didn’t stop tens of thousands of fans from turning out to support their favorite foursome. In anticipation of the extreme heat, concert organizers adjusted some of their usual policies to keep fans hydrated. Everyone was permitted to bring in a sealed bottle of water and medics were readily on hand to combat dehydration and heat stroke. Organizers also brought in extra misting fans to keep concertgoers cool. The guys of 1D and their fans both agreed that once the show started, however, all they could feel was positive energy.
7/23/15 - Can you believe that One Direction is already five years old? It seems like time flew by as the band took on their whirlwind adventure after auditioning for The X Factor back in 2010. Originally coming to the show separately, the judges had the insight to put the five guys together to form a group, and the rest is history! If you haven’t watched the video of them getting the news about the formation of 1D from the judges, you definitely should! It’s a heartwarming story that will remind you of just how far they’ve come and just how much passion they have for what they do. On Sunday, July 26, they will perform live at the TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota and we have your tickets for $52 and up.
7/16/15 - If you are a big One Direction fan, this may be old news to you, but rumor has it that Louis Tomlinson is expecting a baby! His relationship with Briana Jungwirth has been no secret, the two met earlier this year after his breakup with a longtime girlfriend. Although they have not yet confirmed the news via social media, it will sure be fun to watch Louis be a dad, and to watch Harry, Niall and Liam become “uncles!” This news has not affected any part of 1D’s North American tour, which is happening now. They are all set to appear on stage this Friday, July 17 at the BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, British Columbia. Tickets are on sale now, and prices start at $38.
7/9/15 - The North American leg of One Direction's tour has officially begun. After playing in San Diego, California, which is their first stop, the British band will move up the west coast, eventually playing three shows in Canada. One Direction will only be playing in each city for one night, so be sure to secure your spot at the show nearest you early. Tickets are still available for the show in Santa Clara, Seattle, and all their shows in Canada. Right now, tickets for their Santa Clara show, on July 11th, are starting at $56, but they are going fast. On July 26th, they will return to the United States in Minneapolis, Minnesota, then move down through Kansas and Indiana. Keep an eye on their tour dates to see when you can catch them live.
7/2/15 - If you feel a huge heat wave coming in from the Atlantic next week, it’s because Britain’s hottest band, One Direction, will hit American soil as they begin the next leg of the “On The Road Again” tour at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California on July 9. Harry Styles has said that the European shows have been a smashing success, and that they are excited to bring the music to the United States and Canada. He also states that they are also working hard on their next album. Although no release date has been set, he says that they are “buzzing with the new stuff” and that they already have some great songs lined up. Tickets for the San Diego show are still available, with prices starting at $57.
6/25/15 - The guys of One Direction are having a big week amid their On The Road Again Tour, which is currently in its European leg. They recently had the opportunity to have a bit of fun while showing off their charisma and acting skills. The remaining foursome is set to release a new fragrance called “Between Us,” which is the fourth perfume they have released as a band. The guys created a hilariously ridiculous advertisement to promote the new fragrance, claiming it will be made of “Niall’s tears.” Meanwhile, former One Directioner Zayn Malik is taking things a bit more seriously. He and Joe Jonas were recently spotted at the Valentino show at menswear fashion week in Paris, France. The rest of 1D will kick of the North America leg of their tour in just two weeks.
6/17/15 - Although the guys of One Direction are adamant that they are doing just fine following the exit of band mate Zayn Malik, a certain industry insider seems to thinking differently. The guys’ mentor, who happens to be the notorious former American Idol judge Simon Cowell, thinks the foursome may ever recover. Cowell clarified by saying, “I don’t think they’ll ever be over it completely because they started off as a five piece, so they’re always going to miss him.” Despite the skepticism, the guys of 1D are moving forward with their massive On The Road Again Tour. They clearly still have the support of their fans, as shows continue to sell out at impressive rates. Tickets to the opening show on July 9 are still available at prices as low as $34.
6/8/15 - The members of One Direction have reached out to one young fan after she was involved in a horrible crash while riding a roller coaster. Leah Washington and several others were trapped for more than four hours after crashing into the back of an empty carriage, causing the need for doctors to amputate one of Leah’s legs. The boys from 1D were unable to visit her in the hospital, but reached out via video, inviting her to meet them backstage at an upcoming concert when she is well. These kind acts are not unique for One Direction, and is just one of the many things that makes them so special. Their tour kicks off in the United States next month and includes more than 20 stops. Show them your support by purchasing tickets in a nearby city today!
6/4/15 - Fans of boy band and super group One Direction are still reeling following Zayn Malik’s departure, and now there’s rumored to be concern over whether or not Harry Styles will follow his footsteps after the conclusion of the band’s massive On The Road Again Tour. Styles talked to reporters this week, reassuring fans everywhere that he’s staying put, at least for the moment. Styles does admit that he has “lots of goals” he feels he must achieve, but right now he and the rest of 1D are just trying to focus on what’s going on right in front of them. For now, that means the tour and working on their next album and first without Zayn, which is set to debut at the end of this year.
5/28/15 - As if One Direction fans needed any encouragement to get excited and blow up Twitter, the four guys are teasing their followers about their upcoming album. Now that Niall, Liam, Harry and Louis are a foursome, the sound will undoubtedly be different, but Niall has stated that their old school sound is still prevalent throughout the work. While they work hard in the studio, they also have to get ready for their upcoming concert tour across the United States and Canada, which starts in July and includes over 20 stops through September. 1D fans should purchase their tickets soon, as a tour like this one will undoubtedly sell out. See them on stage at the TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on July 26. Our ticket prices start at $42.
5/14/15 - Although fans are still recovering from Zayn Malik’s choice to leave One Direction, his absence hasn’t slowed the rest of the guys down at all. The four man band recently earned the high honor of being crowned number one on Billboard’s Hot Tours chart during the week of April 22, proving fans are happier than ever to support their favorite boy band. The guys are so in demand, in fact, that rumors are already flying about yet another world tour that could take place as soon as next year. Promoters of the group say that they’re “riding the crest of a wave” of popularity and want to keep the hype going. The guys are currently on tour in Europe and will head to North America in July.
5/6/15 - Many of you will be staying up way past your bedtimes next week, as One Direction will make an appearance on The Late Late Show on May 14. The guys from 1D have a longstanding history of antics and camaraderie with James Corden, who is the new host of the television program. One time, Corden tattooed a picture of his face on Niall’s backside and another time he kissed Harry right on the lips in a segment they called “Kiss Cam.” What fun things will the foursome be up to next? That remains to be seen, but we do know that they will be on tour in the United States this summer. With seats selling out quickly, this isn’t a purchase you want to put off. Purchase your One Direction concert tickets from us today!
4/28/15 - As their massive On The Road Again world tour continues, Liam Payne and the rest of One Direction recently sat down to discuss their upcoming album. Although many fans are still grieving Zayn Malik’s departure from the band, Liam and the remaining members are trying to keep fans optimistic about the group’s future. Payne says that the group’s fifth album is “coming together really well,” and that fans can expect a slightly different vibe on the new release. He says the guys are trying to channel Oasis and produce a sound that will “have a longer shelf life.” The guys are currently on tour in Europe and will head to North America later this summer. Although their first show in the US is months away, some dates are already selling out.
4/23/15 - As fans anxiously await One Direction’s arrival in North America on July 9, they are no doubt keeping up with the ongoing Zayn Malik saga in the meantime. Malik break millions of hearts around the world when he left the band a few weeks ago, leaving fans to wonder what would become of the group. Malik has remained largely quiet on the subject, other than mentioning that it was a difficult decision and that he wishes the rest of the guys nothing but the best. He broke his silence this week, taking to Twitter for the first time to deny allegations that personal relationships troubles were the reasons he left the band. Come show the remaining One Direction foursome your unwavering support when they begin the North American leg of their tour in July.
4/17/15 - Getting over the loss of Zayne Malik has been difficult for the other members of One Direction, but they are doing their best to stay positive and help keep fans from being depressed for too long. They took some photographs of just the four of them, and are trying to move forward as a foursome. In a series of Tweets recently, Harry, Liam, Niall and Louis have hinted that they are back in the studio writing and recording new music with the help of some frequent writing buddies, such as Jamie Scott, who helped pen hits such as “Story of My Life” and “Midnight Memories.” You can hear for yourself the new songs as they hit the States this summer. Tickets for all scheduled shows are on sale now!
4/8/15 - The guys of One Direction recently sat down to give their first interview as a foursome following Zayn Malik’s departure two weeks ago. In the interview, the guys admitted that they are completely “gutted” over Malik’s decision to leave. They also said, however, that they are growing confident as a four-piece and are still determined to carry on as strong as ever. In fact, band member Louis Tomlinson confirmed that the four remaining singers are 100% committed to staying together and continuing on as a band. Malik also had the opportunity to talk about his departure, reassuring fans that there isn’t any bad blood between him and the rest of his former band mates and that he wishes them nothing but the best in the future.
3/31/15 - As their massive On The Road Again World Tour rolls forward, One Direction continues to march on without bandmate Zayn Malik, who broke millions of hearts last week when he announced he was leaving the band. The remaining foursome is currently in South Africa, where they played a huge show at Johannesburg’s FNB Stadium on Saturday night in front of nearly 100,000 cheering fans who came to show support. The guys were extremely grateful, stopping repeatedly throughout the set to thank fans for choosing to spend the evening with them. While no one mentioned Zayn overtly, there was a bittersweet moment during “Through the Dark” when Liam had to leave the stage with tears in his eyes. The South African leg of the tour concludes tonight in Cape Town.
3/26/15 - It’s a bittersweet day for One Direction band member Zayn Malik and his fans around the world. The band announced on their Facebook page today that Malik has officially left the group. Rumors started flying last week after he left the On The Road Again Tour, which was in the Philippines at the time, in order to decompress and spend time with his family. Malik is reportedly the most susceptible to stress from publicity, and it seems he has finally reached his limit. Malik spent five incredible years with One Direction. While he is the first to apologize to fans he has let down, he also justifies his decision by saying, “I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight.” The rest of the 1Ders will continue as a foursome on their world tour.
3/20/15 - As their massive worldwide On The Road Again Tour continues in Singapore and the Philippines, One Direction band member Zayn Malik was recently forced to take a break from the tour due to stress. His band mates have stated in the past that out of everyone, Malik struggles the most with being in the spotlight. While he’s healthy physically, Malik left the tour to decompress and spend time with his family in the United Kingdom after reaching his emotional limit on Wednesday. The rest of the 1Ders are worried about their band mate, but they still plan to go ahead with their shows in the Philippines without Malik. There is no word on whether or not Malik plans to rejoin the tour at later dates.
3/13/15 - Stemming from England and Ireland, the five members of One Direction got their start in 2010 after appearing on The X Factor. Since then, they have gained serious traction not only in the UK, but also in countries all across the world. Their popularity was in full force as they took the stage Wednesday night to a crowd of 30,000 adoring fans in Singapore. The appearance of Harry, Niall, Liam, Zayne and Louis also drew record-breaking buzz on Twitter for the country. Over 100,000 Tweets were sent out referencing the concert. North American fans will have their chance to see the guys perform live, but will have to wait until this summer to do so. Tickets for their July 11 show in Santa Clara, CA will set you back just $80.
3/6/15 - Following a series of international concerts including a sold-out show in Tokyo earlier this week, three of the members of One Direction landed at London’s Heathrow airport Tuesday afternoon. They will have a few days to rest up before heading back out overseas as their next stint begins on Wednesday in Singapore. Absent from the flight home were Harry and Liam, who presumably are doing their own thing during the break. Catch all five together as they take the stage in the United States and Canada for the North American leg of the tour this summer and early fall. Fans can expect to hear many of their favorite songs from the group’s four chart-topping albums. Come sing along with 1D on Aug. 23 at Soldier Field in Chicago for just $72.
2/25/15 - Rumors have been flying this week over whether or not Harry Styles has plans to leave his One Direction band mates in pursuit of a solo career. According to some sources, Styles hopes to make edgier music in the future, which is not something he’s poised to do with 1D. While tabloids have been having a field day over the subject, Styles insists he has no plans to leave the band anytime soon. This isn’t the first time the gang has had to deal with false media reports, as they also recently shot down rumors that band mate Zayn Malik has plans to start a solo rap career. Whether you believe the gossip or not, you can catch all five of the One Directioners live in concert in North America later this year.

This list has been coming out since 1769 and includes lists of people in 24 different fields, including music, art, sport, stage, screen, and war and peace. American fans will have to wait until July for this influential band to hit the shores for the US leg of the tour, but tickets are still available for most dates.
1/23/15 - One Direction, the British pop group singing sensation, was the top touring act of 2014 with an estimated 3.4 million ticket sales that earned well over $250 million. They will visit several continents, starting in Australia just month and finishing in their native U.K. this October. 1/15/15 - The five guys from One Direction have become so popular that they are known in every corner of the world. With their unparalleled success as a band, they have tried to pay it forward, and are also some of the most charitable musicians in the industry today. They have been especially generous in the realm of cancer research. They gave a portion of their 2014 ticket revenue to the Stand up to Cancer campaign and raised over $750,000 to fund a charity involved in researching Hodgkins lymphoma cancer in 2013. With more endeavors in the works for 2015, it remains to be seen what charities they will set their sights on next. The North American leg of their next tour will begin on July 9, 2015 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, CA.
1/9/15 - Fame and stardom inevitably lead to being a part of the rumor mill created by the media, and the five guys from One Direction are definitely not immune to this. After a recent Twitter hack, one of those rumors stated that Niall Horan was leaving the band. The other members showed their resilience to the rumors by making a joke about it. For an entire day, they acted as if the rumor was true, taking to Twitter and acting as if Niall was ousted. Lucky for 1D fans, Niall is staying in the group, and they will be on a huge worldwide tour that will put the guys in North America this summer. This is a tour that will undoubtedly sell out quickly, so fans should not wait to purchase their tickets.
