Offspring Tour News and Updates
2014 Summer Nationals Tour
The Offspring was spawned out of Huntington Beach in the mid-80s. The group is recognized for bringing punk rock music back to the masses, along with Rancid, Bad Religion, Pennywise, Green Day and other Cali-bred acts. Upon the fading years of grunge, The Offspring took punk to astounding heights and reintroduced it to mainstream with the release of Smash (1994)—the best-selling album ever released on an indie label (Epitaph).
Offspring features Dexter Holland (vocals), Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman (guitar), Greg Kriesel (bass) and Ross Welty (drums). Their original ska, grunge, alt, punk mash music gives them a wide range of fans and appeal. They are mainstays on the radio with legacy hits "Self Esteem," "Come Out and Play (Keep 'Em Separated)," "The Kids Aren't Alright," "Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)," "Original Prankster" and many more. The Offspring's latest release was Days Go By in 2012, but the group is said to start work on a tenth studio album following this year's massive summer tour.
Now, in Smash's 20th anniversary year, The Offspring tickets are selling faster than ever before. The rock innovators have joined forces with other perennial punks, Bad Religion and Pennywise, on the "Summer Nationals" Tour. Kicking off 7/29 in Pittsburgh, the three legendary bands will tour through the end of summer, wrapping up 9/11 in Council Bluffs, IA. Offspring will perform "Smash" in its entirety—plus favorite classics and new hits. Get your 2014 Offspring tickets today and be a part of the Punk Rock Summer Nationals Tour!
