Nine Inch Nails Tour News and Updates
On 9/3, Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails will release Hesitation Marks
, their first album in 5 years. The new album follows a hiatus in which Reznor focused on other projects and even won an Academy Award for his work on the score for David Fincher’s The Social Network
. “Came Back Haunted,” the first single from the upcoming album, was released on 6/5. A day later, the Tension 2013 tour
was announced. The Nine Inch Nails tour will begin on 9/28 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota and conclude on 11/22 at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington.
Reznor has described Tension 2013 as “the full-on NIN live experience realized as we never could before.” The average price for Nine Inch Nails tickets for the 31-show tour is $174. The most expensive NIN tour date is at Staples Center
in Los Angeles on 11/8, averaging $311. With an average price of $132, the 10/11 show at the TD Garden
in Boston is the least expensive. Nine Inch Nails will also play the festival circuit, headlining Lollapalooza
in Chicago on 8/2, Outside Lands
in San Francisco on 8/10, and the Budweiser Made in America Festival
in Philadelphia on 9/1. NIN fans won’t want to miss out on the Tension Tour, or they may have to wait another several years to see the band live again.
