Linkin Park 2014 Carnivores Tour
Linkin Park brought the genre of nu-metal to the forefront, bringing a unique blend of electric, metal, rock and hip-hop out of the drudges and into mainstream. Linkin Park was formed in a suburb of Los Angeles by a group of high school friends (Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon), with the addition of Joe Hahn, Dave Farrell and singer Chester Bennington. The band took the aggressive rap-rock foundation laid by acts like Korn and Limp Bizkit and, with the interplay of Bennington and Shinoda's vocal layering, Linkin Park continuously captivates music lovers everywhere with innovation and unique sound.
The group released best-selling debut album "Hybrid Theory" in 2000, followed by "Meteora" and "Collision Course," a collaborative effort with rapper Jay-Z, and two additional albums. Linkin Park recently unleashed "Guilt All The Same" a new song from their forthcoming sixth studio album "The Hunting Party" (due later this year). Though the band has swung in the direction of other genres, their latest work features harder rock components and deep-cut hip-hop elements, much like their first two records.
Definitely one of the biggest tours of the year, Linkin Park is joining forces with Thirty Seconds to Mars
this summer! The bands share many fans and are trying to bring back a "visceral guitar rock" sound that is fading on the radio in favor of EDM-inclined songs. The trek is named the "Carnivores Tour" and will cover 25 dates across North America, starting August 8 in West Palm Beach and closing September 19 in Concord. Hear songs like "Numb", "Somewhere I Belong" and "Breaking the Habit" as well as newer hits "What I've Done", "Bleed It Out" "Waiting for the End"! Whether they're touring with other great bands or alone, you can't go wrong with Linkin Park tickets!
