Del Rey is set to delve deep into some of her moodier material on Saturday’s nearly sold out show at the Borgata Hotel and Casino Events Center in Atlantic City, NJ. Fans in attendance can expect to hear classics like “Video Games,” “Born to Die,” and “Blue Jeans” alongside newer hits like “Ultraviolence,” “West Coast,” and “Cruel World.” Del Rey is also rumored to be performing unreleased material off of her upcoming album, Honeymoon. This includes “Music To Watch Boys To,” which is scheduled to be her first single and music video off of the upcoming album.
5/27/15 - New music from your favorite artist is always good news, and fans of Lana del Rey can look forward to a brand new album sometime in September! While there is no fixed release date yet, it will certainly be worth waiting for. Lana herself has described the work as “noirish,” and has said it has a similar sound to her first record. The singer/songwriter has long been heralded for her unique sound, and was even recently nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her song, “Big Eyes.” While you wait for the new album, you can catch Lana on her current tour with opener, Grimes. This Saturday, May 30 she will perform at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Illinois. Purchase your tickets today for $26 and up!
5/19/15 - When you hear Lana del Rey sing or think about the words to her songs, you may forget that she is not yet 30 years old. The singer, whose passionate vocals and mature lyrics make her an easy fan favorite, often seems older than she really is. She has never been afraid to bring up controversial topics such as domestic violence and dating older men in her music. She is currently making stops across the country on her “Endless Summer” tour with opener Courtney Love. On Friday, May 22, she will be at the Amphitheater Northwest venue in Ridgefield, Washington. After that show, Grimes will replace Love as the opening act until the tour ends in mid-June. Tickets for all upcoming shows are available now, and pricing for Friday evening starts at just $22 for general admission lawn seating.
5/12/15 - Hip hop synth pop princess Lana del Rey was forced to cancel her show in Dallas, TX over the weekend due to allegedly bad weather in the area, although fans who were already at the venue claimed they saw nothing more than sprinkles. Del Rey apologized, saying she wished she could have told fans in person before the cancellation was announced over the loud speakers. Courtney Love, the opening act for the show, was able to perform her set albeit an hour behind schedule before the decision was made to cancel the main act. There is no word yet on whether or not the concert will be rescheduled. Del Rey’s next two shows will take place on Tuesday night at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO and Thursday night at Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix, AZ.
1/17/15 - Though she was snubbed by the Grammys this year following her 2014 nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album, Lana del Rey has continued to create memorable music with her signature blend of fatalistic romance and lounge singer sensibilities. Though overlooked by the Grammy voters, her 2014 concept album Ultraviolence was a memorable work, characterized by its psychedelic dreamscapes and sparse arrangements. Soon to be on her Endless Summer Tour with alternative legend Courtney Love, Lana del Rey is on top of her game. With her new album Honeymoon set to be released this coming August, there is no better time to catch one of the hottest young acts in pop music live in concert this spring. Razorgator has tickets available for concert dates around the country, starting with her tour opener in Houston at the Woodlands Pavilion on May 7th.
1/15/15 - Lana Del Rey has had a rough couple of weeks. After having her song, "Big Eyes", nominated for the Best Original Song award at the 72nd Golden Globe Awards ceremony, she unfortunately lost out to John Legend and Common's "Glory". Many thought Lana was the favorite pick and are convinced that "Glory" won mainly because its parent movie was nominated for Best Drama. Then, little more than a week later, fans were shocked when "Big Eyes" did not receive a nomination for the Oscar's Best Original Song category, despite numerous magazines reporting that she had an excellent shot. This sad news will not change the minds of Lana Del Rey's fans, however, as the hype for her May tour with Courtney Love only increases. Tickets are already available.
1/8/15 - As 2015 begins, so do the slew of award ceremonies. This Sunday, the much-anticipated Golden Globes will air, hosted by funny best friends Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Lana del Rey will be in attendance, hoping to win an award for writing “Big Eyes,” which debuted in the Tim Burton film by the same name. Despite the gloomy sound of most of her songs, Lana del Rey vows that she does enjoy making music. Like Tim Burton, she says sadness gives her a kind of happiness. She feels that music adds another layer to movies, and that her songs all have visual components to them. You can see Lana del Rey and all her melancholy glory in concert with Courtney Love across the country in 2015. Tickets are available through Razorgator today.
12/31/14 - Lana del Rey has carved out a distinctive space for herself in the pop music sphere. Her vintage look and style separate her from other current artists, and she is a consistently classy and put-together celebrity. Most recently, she was spotted being affectionate on a beach with her new Italian boyfriend Francesco Carrozzini for their New Year’s Eve vacation. Instead of reacting negatively to the paparazzi, the couple carried on enjoying the ocean and sand as if they were not being watched. Lana del Rey’s mysterious yet elegant persona, along with her musical talent, have earned her millions of fans that are eagerly awaiting her 2015 tour. On May 18, she will make at stop at the famous Hollywood Bowl stage. Tickets for this Los Angeles show start at $84.
12/9/14 - Singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey has made a big name for herself. In a sea of consistently peppy pop stars, Del Rey is mournful, deep, and melancholy. Her distinctive sound has earned her the attention of many movie-makers, and her songs have been featured in films such as The Great Gatsby and Maleficent. There is talk that she may soon be up for an Oscar for her latest music contributions to film for Big Eyes, a Tim Burton picture. The movie features two of her songs: Big Eyes and I Can Fly. You can see the talented young artist in concert in 2015. Her tour with Courtney Love kicks off in Houston, Texas on May 7th, and tickets start at $28. She then travels to Dallas on May 9th. Tickets for that show are only $24.
Lana del Rey, born Elizabeth Grant, is music's most buzzed about newcomer. Failing as a singer/songwriter after college, the "Summertime Sadness" crooner changed her image and burst on the scene three years ago as a doe-eyed sex kitten who lives and breathes all things Americana. Del Rey's popularity rides on her persona: self-described as "Lolita got lost in the hood" or a "gangsta Nancy Sinatra," an image heightened by her controversial lyrics, pop culture references and Old Hollywood-meets-East LA flair. With her loungey and sensuous singing voice, the songstress has crafted a unique sound that's all her own, seamlessly blending hip-hop, retro, synth-pop, cinematic and more.
This captivating singer will be on the road for only a handful of dates, so get your Lana Del Rey tickets before they go! The femme fatale will embark on a mini-tour: hitting the Coachella Music Festival in April, with three single shows in Las Vegas ($160 min.), Phoenix ($114 min.) and San Francisco ($101 min.). The only East Coast stop listed for the "Blue Jeans" singer is the Sweetlife Music Festival in Columbia.
The Lake Placid native first released a debut single, "Video Games" in 2011, and her first full-length album "Born to Die" came the following year. Since its release, the album has sold over 5 million copies, with the bulk of her success centered in Europe, charting No.1 on the Official UK Album Chart. With the release of the "Born to Die- Paradise Edition," Del Rey garnered immense fame in the US, being awarded GQ Magazine's "Woman of the Year" and a focal point on "The Great Gatsby" film soundtrack. Del Rey is rumored to be releasing new music this summer titled "UltraViolence"—we hope a supporting tour follows suit!
