4/2/14 - Now on the tail-end of their 2014 Mechanical Bull Tour, Kings of Leon have added one more opportunity to watch them live! Lollapalooza All Weekend passes start at $312, or buy a Sunday ticket to see the band for $128.
Kings of Leon will be on the road for the first time in nearly two years with their 2014 Mechanical Bull Tour
. The alternative rockers behind unforgettable tracks “Use Somebody” and “Sex on Fire” are comprised of family members Caleb Followill (vocals), his brothers Nathan (drums) and Jared (bass), and their cousin Matthew (guitar). The talented foursome first made it big in Europe before breaking out in the US with their mega-popular Only By the Night album and subsequent tour.
Now, promoting their latest studio record, Mechanical Bull, Kings of Leon will trek across North America from February to April. The first leg of the tour, through Atlanta, NY, Boston and Chicago, features Grammy-nominated guitarist Gary Clark Jr. as the opening act. But that’s not all, KoL recently added twelve more dates through Phoenix, LA, Seattle, Houston and Canada with indie rock darlings, Local Natives, in tow. Kings of Leon’s familial on-stage chemistry is hard to match, and their sets are filled with jokes, fun and best of all, the greatest alternative music around.
Mechanical Bull offers similar anthemic qualities as the Nashville-native’s previous records, but with more maturity and grandeur. KoL fans will gladly notice the boys still maintain their authentic garage-band sound, Southern rock influence and home-fried persona, whilst gaining major radio play and a worldwide audience. Score Kings of Leon tickets today and hear singles “Wait for Me” and “Supersoaker” that burst with the same energy that first propelled Kings of Leon to rock icon status!
