Jimmy Eat World Tour News and Updates
Jimmy Eat World started in the early 1990s as a punk trio out of Mesa, AZ, crafted by childhood friends Jim Adkins and Zach Lind. After a troublesome start with record labels and relentless touring, Jimmy Eat World fine-tuned their music to exhibit a poppier alt-rock sound and finally broke the mold upon the game changing release of 2001’s Bleed American
. The record spawned the release of numerous singles, most importantly the instantly infectious song “The Middle,” which forever cemented Jimmy Eat World’s legacy in popular music.
Jimmy Eat World followed up their immensely successful album with the release of Futures, featuring hit songs “Pain” and “Work.” Jimmy Eat World has never left the radio waves, releasing their highest-charting record Chase This Light in 2007, and Invented in 2010, all the while maintaining their indie rock identity. To celebrate the ten year anniversary of their stellar album Futures, Jimmy Eat World will hit the road to perform the record from beginning to end, starting Oct. 2 in Ventura, CA and closing Oct. 22 in Raleigh, NC. The group has a flawless stage reputation, sounding even better in person, so this once-in-a-lifetime tour is not to be missed.
