Jimmy Buffett 2015 Tour
8/19/15 - Jimmy Buffett will be the first to tell you that he has some of the best fans in the industry, but police were not amused when they found buckets used as makeshift commodes in the tailgating area at his recent show in Mansfield, MA. Apparently, some 75 to 100 Parrotheads were told to disassemble homemade latrines. The Parrotheads are well known for their partying antics, but things have now reached a whole different level. For this reason as well as health reasons, fans can likely expect an increase in security at future concerts. You can feel free to skip the tailgating, but don’t miss Buffett’s next show this Saturday at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, WI. Tickets are currently available starting at $59.
7/7/15 - Did you ever imagine that a hockey player like Patrick Kane would celebrate winning the Stanley Cup by going to a Jimmy Buffett concert? The Chicago Blackhawks forward not only arrived at the show wearing a Hawaiian shirt like all the other Parrotheads, but even brought the infamous Stanley Cup trophy along with him! The athlete kicked back a few beers with Buffett (drinking out of the trophy itself), and also joined him on stage for a lively rendition of “Volcano.” The concert was the perfect way for Kane to celebrate winning the most important award in hockey. Jimmy will be back on stage in mid-August. The Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts, will welcome him on Saturday, Aug. 15. Purchase your tickets for that show today for $108 and up.
6/30/15 - When Jimmy Buffett comes to town, he brings along with him the tropics, no matter how landlocked the city. In Detroit last week, fans flocked to the concert with shark fins on the tops of their cars and wearing their most casual Hawaiian clothing. The party started in the parking lot, where people gathered to play limbo, eat by the light of tiki torches, and of course, have at least one or two margaritas. The concert was at the West Riverfront, a brand new venue in the area. Jimmy gave it his thumbs up, and stated that he hoped he would be welcomed back. He and the Coral Reefer Band will be back on the road on August 13 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. Tickets are on sale now and start at $51.
6/23/15 - Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band are well known for putting on fun live performances, but they are also pretty darn good at recording music. Buffett recently hinted at possibly spending some time in the studio soon, although he remained vague about whether they will do a full album or simply release a few songs for digital download. Despite the nostalgia that so often surrounds him, Jimmy does pretty well at remaining savvy in an evolving music industry. He and his band are currently on tour, and all you Parrotheads out there can get your tickets from us today! He will be in Tinley Park, Illinois this Saturday, June 27. Out ticket prices start at just $32, so get out your Hawaiian shirts, sunglasses and margarita glasses, because this is a party you don’t want to miss!
6/11/15 - It’s no secret that all kinds of people love the Pirate Man Jimmy Buffett. From blue collar to white collar and everyone in between, Buffett makes people smile wherever he goes. It turns out the “Cheeseburger in Paradise” singer also has friends in some pretty high places, as he proved at the Jurassic World premiere party on Tuesday night. Buffett took to the stage of the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood, CA to perform at the tropical-themed festivities. He had a few surprises for fans in attendance as well. At one point during the show, actor Chris Pratt jumped onstage to sing backup to “Margaritaville” with the Coral Reefer Band. The night was a huge success, and Pratt’s cameo was definitely one of the highlights.
6/2/15 - Last Thursday, the folks in Maryland Heights, Missouri wanted to enjoy not just a night of great music put on by the one and only Jimmy Buffett, but they also wanted to make a whole day out of it! Many concert-goers attended a tailgating party, where they participated in karaoke, trivia, tea sampling and a whole host of activities that the “Margaritaville” singer would undoubtedly approve of. After the day’s events were over, they took in a great show at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater. Parrotheads in Kansas City can plan some festivities of their own, as Buffett will be in town on Saturday, June 6 at the Sprint Center. Showtime is at 7:00PM and we have a limited number of tickets left for sale. Prices start at $36.
5/26/15 - Fans in attendance at tonight’s Jimmy Buffett show may get a special surprise if all goes to plan. The Pirate Man has supposedly arranged for astronaut Terry Virts to appear at tonight’s concert in Houston, TX from aboard the International Space Station. The broadcast will include a pre-recorded message from the astronaut to which Buffett will respond live at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The location was a natural choice for the appearance by Virts, as the city of Houston takes deep pride in its local NASA heroes. Following the conclusion of the show, a tape of the concert will be broadcast on the International Space Station provided by none other than Margaritaville TV. Tickets are still available to tonight’s show in Houston in extremely limited quantities.
5/19/15 - For fans of Jimmy Buffet, it’s interesting (and maybe a little bit shocking) to note that his first top-40 album, A1A, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The work, which featured hit song “A Pirate Looks at Forty,” made its debut in 1975 and Buffett has been a part of our lives and hearts since that day. His “Workin’ and Playin’” tour is an example of both how hard he works and how much fun he has, and can’t we all relate to that? May 28 will mark the next stop on the road when he will perform at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, Texas. Showtime is set for 8:00 PM and tickets are on sale now! Our prices start at $66 for general admission lawn seating.
5/13/15 - University of Miami graduates were treated to a commencement address from someone you might not expect—Jimmy Buffett! True to his personality, the singer gave the address in island clothing (under the cap and gown, of course) and wearing sunglasses, and treated the audience to a more lively address than they might have expected. Always the entertainer, Jimmy will continue on the road later in the month and throughout June, including a May 30 concert at Toyota Stadium Dallas in Frisco, TX. Parrotheads in the area should purchase tickets soon, as the show will likely sell out. Our prices start at just $59 and go up from there. Come sing along to all your favorite songs and enjoy a break from the daily grind! Buy your tickets today!
5/7/15 - Nautical jammer and island life advocate Jimmy Buffett is taking a brief hiatus from his 2015 tour for an important reason. He is set to deliver the commencement address at the University of Miami’s undergraduate ceremony on Friday afternoon along with a handful of other speakers. Buffett is a natural to make the speech, as he has called the area home for most of his life. Despite speculation, there’s no word on whether or not Buffett will sing the commencement address. His next live show is May 28 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, TX. Tickets are still available to that show and all future shows in varying prices and quantities. Don’t miss your chance to see the Pirate man himself live in concert.
5/1/15 - The infamous singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett made an impromptu stop for lunch in Washington, North Carolina at a burger joint this weekend, and surprised not only the patrons in the restaurant, but also the employees. As one of the most down-to-earth and hard-working artists in the business, it is good to see him living the nonchalant lifestyle he so often sings about. This occurred after playing a set at the New Orleans Jazz Fest on Sunday. After he finished singing, he shook up a margarita and it was auctioned off to benefit the Preservation Hall. Buffett will now take a short break from the road, but will head out again on May 28 when he will perform at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston. Pick up your tickets today for just $32 and up.
4/20/15 - Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band took hometown West Palm Beach by storm last Friday, performing at a nearly sold out Coral Sky Amphitheater. He thrilled the crowds with an all-star track list, including nostalgic hits like “Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes,” “Cheeseburger In Paradise,” “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” and of course “Margaritaville.” Buffett has said that although he hasn’t won any formal awards for his music, he couldn’t care less when he has super fans like the loyal Parrotheads. Buffett’s next tour stop is Orange Beach, AL where he will take the stage at The Wharf on Friday, April 24. Limited quantities of tickets are still available in varying prices. Don’t miss your chance to see the Pirate himself live in concert!
4/16/15 - Working and playing are two words that just about anyone can relate to on a day to day basis, and what better way to celebrate what life is all about that enjoying Jimmy Buffett live in concert! He will be in Florida this weekend, and his itinerary includes a Saturday performance in Tampa at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre. Tickets are still on sale, and our prices start at just $75 for lawn seating and $116 for upper level seats. Jimmy’s team has also booked a show in late June at the West Riverfront Park in Detroit. Tickets are not yet on sale, but the huge 20-acre space is ideal for big parties, so the setting will be just right to enjoy some “Margaritaville” and “A Cheeseburger in Paradise.”
4/7/15 - Parrotheads are just two days away from catching Jimmy Buffett live in concert, when his Workin’ n’ Playin’ 2015 Tour kicks off in West Palm Beach this Thursday. Buffett has always been an inspiration to fans, and how that inspiration has carried over to the first ever Buffett-themed bar aboard a cruise ship. The Norwegian Cruise Line opened the first 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar on the Norwegian Star. Although Buffett has already inspired several similar bars on land, this is the first endeavor at sea. The cruise ship bar will serve up Buffett’s signature margaritas as well as a bevy of other boat appropriate beverages. The bar will also feature nightly live music. Come catch the Margaritaville Man live in concert at a venue near you this spring and summer.
4/3/15 - Jimmy Buffett must be gearing up for his much awaited Workin’ n’ Playin’ 2015 Tour, because he just played a free, private concert in Key West on Wednesday. It was a particularly exciting occasion for the hundreds of fans who got to see Buffett perform, because they had to earn their attendance by submitting a “dream set list” of songs by Buffett. The singer played 27 of the most requested songs at the concert, which took place at the historic San Carlos Institute. The venue also happens to be one of Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band’s favorites from the 1970s. The occasion was also available via live streaming for fans who couldn’t be at the concert in person. Jimmy Buffett’s Workin’ n’ Playin’ Tour kicks off on April 9.
3/24/15 - Iconic singer and songwriter Jimmy Buffett is just over two weeks away from kicking off his long awaited Workin’ n’ Playin’ 2015 Tour, but he’ll have one more commitment before it all starts at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, FL on April 9. Buffet recently announced that he will play an acoustic show at the Old Florida Capitol on April 7 in honor of the third annual Everglades Action Day. He will also appear at the “Save Florida’s Drinking Water” rally, which is designed to bring awareness to the vulnerable Everglades ecosystem at the 8 million Floridians who depend on it for drinking water. Fellow musicians Robert Greenidge and Mac McAnally will join Buffett at the rally. This is Buffett’s second stop in Tallahassee within the last year.
3/16/15 - When you hear songs by Jimmy Buffett, it is easy to assume that he spends most of his time relaxing on a beach with a cold drink in hand. The truth, however, is that he is actually quite a busy man. Between his music, being an author, and owning two restaurants, his life has been pretty hectic since he got his start in the late 1960s. Since then, he has toured over 40 times, and his fans, also known as Parrotheads, love that he remains so active in bringing his music around the world. This time around, the “Workin’ n’ Playin’ Tour” will put him in nearly 20 cities across the United States, including a June 2 show in Atlanta at the Arena at Gwinnett Center venue. We have your tickets starting at just $85.
3/10/15 - The classic crooner behind hits like “Margaritaville” and “Little Miss Magic” continues to prove that he still knows how to captivate an audience after all these years. His highly anticipated Working’ ‘n’ Playin’ Tour is already selling out across the country. Buffett’s April 24 show at The Wharf in Orlando, FL, for example, reportedly sold out in less than 90 minutes. Although tickets are selling quickly for Buffett’s tour stops around the country, fans of the laid back singer don’t need to worry. We still have still limited quantities of tickets available to the April 24 show as well as the remaining scheduled performances in a wide range of prices. Time to bust out your lost shaker of salt and experience legendary Jimmy Buffett live.
3/3/15 - The immensely popular Jimmy Buffett kicks off his 2015 tour, the Workin' N' Playin' Tour, on April 1 in Key West, Florida. Currently, he is set to come to 18 US locations but more dates are being added regularly. This week, he added dates in Orange Beach, AL; Duluth, GA; Wantagh, NY; two shows in Paris, France; Santa Barbara, CA; and Los Angeles, CA.
