Can you believe it has been 35 years since famed heavy metal rockers Iron Maiden released their fan-favorite album, Killers? It’s true! They first debuted the iconic album way back on February 2, 1981. While the record hardly received positive reviews at the time it was released, most Maiden fans now agree that it should be a staple in every metal discography. Critics may have viewed the album as a supposed “sophomore slump,” but true fans could care less. Catch this legendary metal band when they kick off their tour on Wednesday, February 24 at BB&T Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Tickets are already available for purchase at prices starting at $13.

2/3/16 - Iron Maiden recorded their first record back in 1980, but unlike many other bands, their best work isn’t mired in the past. According to the bands drummer, Nicko McBrain, “every album we make is the best album we’ve ever made.” Their latest work, The Book of Souls, was written as the band worked together in the studio, and Iron Maiden will be playing some of those tracks live as start their next tour later this month. After playing a couple shows in the U.S., they’ll head to Canada on April 1 for a show at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Get yourself one of the few remaining tickets today for $218 and up.

1/27/16 - Did you know that the rockers behind Iron Maiden have a soft side? Front man Bruce Dickinson is proving he does have a heart, especially for animals. A loggerhead turtle had washed up on the Jersey shore after Winter Storm Jonas, and needed to be returned to her warm home in the Canary Islands. After being treated by veterinarians, Dickinson offered to fly the turtle home for a discounted price on his private jet. Thanks to public fundraising and global interest, with a little help from a heavy metal legend, Terri the turtle will be safely returned to her home. Come thank Bruce in person at his opening show in Fort Lauderdale.

1/20/16 - Most heavy metal fans know that Dec. 25 is an important day not only because of the Christmas holiday, but also because it’s the day that Iron Maiden was born. It was on that date in 1975 that Steve Harris first took the stage alongside Dave Sullivan and Terry Rance. Although the group went through several reformations to become what it is today, the three performed together for decades, making history with their sound and influencing generations of heavy metal musicians. Iron Maiden isn’t merely a relic of the past, however, as they are still at it performing live music across the world. Check them out next month with a Feb. 24 appearance at BB&T Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Tickets can be purchased starting at $80.

2015 Tour

10/20/15 - Anxious to get their eyes on their eyes and ears on their live music once again, metal fans are remembering some of the best moments in Iron Maiden history. One example happened back in 1986 when they made a mockery of the tradition of lip-synching television performances. As cameramen and producers for the German TV show P.I.T looked on helplessly, Steve Harris and the rest of the band switched instruments around, played guitar solos in the middle of verses, and even had three “playing” drums at one time as they recorded “Wasted Years” for the show. These guys aren’t afraid to have a little fun, and you can be a part of it. Purchase your tickets today!

10/15/15 - Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last several decades, you’ve probably heard of a little heavy metal band known as Iron Maiden. Now the force that brought you “Fear of the Dark” is heading back out into the limelight after several years away from the stage. Bruce Dickinson and the rest of the band have just scheduled a new tour to take place in spring of 2016. They will kick things off at BB&T Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL on Wednesday, February 24. Tickets to the opening show are currently available for purchase and start at prices as low as $19. That’s a steal to see one of the greatest metal bands of all time!
