Foo Fighters 2015 BEAT THE BOTS Tour

3/10/15 - Although frontman Dave Grohl and the rest of the seasoned rockers of the Foo Fighters are still months away from kicking off the North American leg of their 2015 Beat The Bots Tour, the guys are keeping busy. In honor of Record Store Day 2015, which takes place on April 18, Grohl and the rest of the band will release Songs From the Laundry Room, a four track record. The album features early versions of “Big Me” and “Alone + Easy” as well as a previously unreleased song called “Empty Handed.” The album also features a cover of Kim Wilde’s popular single from 1981, “Kids In America.” If you can’t wait to see them in concert this summer, be sure to watch the Foo Fighters live at Record Store Day.

3/5/15 - Event planners in Walla Walla, WA have just announced a huge new music festival that will take place this August. The lineup for the event will feature the Foo Fighters, who put on a live act that is unmatched in talent and energy. You never really know what will happen at one of their shows; just last week Dave Grohl stopped in the middle of a show to give a blind man in the audience one of Taylor Hawkins’ drumsticks as a souvenir. He has even been known to top off beer glasses for audience members. You can join the fun at one of the many performances that the Foo Fighters have lined up this year. They will be in Camden, NJ at the Susquehanna Bank Center on July 6. Ticket prices start at $47.

2/24/15 - The Foo Fighters played their very first show in Seattle, WA exactly twenty years ago this week. They celebrated the anniversary by rocking out with their fans in Queensland, Australia. Dave Grohl regaled the crowd with stories about his adventures in the town, including spending a night in the city jail after being arrested for driving a moped along the coastline. This and other stories, along with the fact that Johnny Depp was in attendance, seemed to rev up the crowd for the show. After their stint Down Under, the band will take a well-deserved break from touring before picking up again. They will play at the Hangout Music Festival May 15-17 in Gulf Shores, AL. The U.S. leg also includes two shows at Fenway Park on July 18-19. Tickets can be purchased for $90.

2/17/15 - In a wave of recent generosity, the Foo Fighters are showing that kindness and charity are just important to them as their music is. They have recently announced that they will be auctioning off two full days of virtually unlimited use of their private 606 Studio to raise money for fellow musician Mike Squires, whose mom is battling cancer. Also, they announced a last minute concert that will be held in New Zealand, where the band is currently on tour. Proceeds from the surprise show will go to the New Zealand Music Foundation, a non-profit group that works in schools, hospitals, and throughout the community. The band’s founder, Dave Grohl, once stated, “If music were more a part of our daily lives, this would be a better place.” Make your world better by purchasing tickets to see the Foo Fighters in a city near you as they tour the US this summer.

2/10/15 - The Foo Fighters were featured on the Feb. 7 episode of the popular TV show, Austin City Limits. They played a nine-song set which included four songs from their most recent album, Sonic Highways, along with some older tunes such as “Best of You,” “Walk,” and “Times Like These.” They were also joined by Gary Clark Jr. and Jimmie Vaughan as they covered “Tuff Enuff,” by The Fabulous Thunderbirds. The Foo Fighters will now head to New Zealand and Australia, playing an eight-concert stretch through early March. Catch them in the United States beginning July 4 at the RFK Stadium in the nation’s capital. They will appear with other big names such as LL Cool J, Buddy Guy, and Heart. Ticket prices start at $82.

2/2/15 - Rock and roll superstar Dave Grohl proved that there aren’t many things that can slow him down. The 46-year old recently fell down on stage in Brazil as he was performing alongside the other members of the Foo Fighters, but hopped right back up and barely missed a beat of the song. He threw his hand up after it happened and later joked that he wouldn’t forget that experience any time soon. You can catch the band as they tour cities across the United States this summer. They recently added another show in New York City at Citi Field for Wednesday, July 15. You can purchase your tickets for as little as $67 for that concert. Come see them perform songs from their eight studio albums, four of which have won Grammy awards for best rock album, in a city near you.

1/28/15 - The fans in Rio de Janeiro got to rock out with the Foo Fighters this last Sunday night. The huge crowd welcomed the band warmly and got to enjoy some covers of other bands’ famous rock compositions, including Rush’s “Tom Sawyer” and Kiss’s “Detroit Rock City.” Paying homage to older rock songs has become a tradition of sorts for the group. In many of their recent shows they have spent time on stage performing some of the music that helped shape their sound. They also played many of their own songs, including “Something from Nothing,” their smash hit from their most recent album, Sonic Highways. Razorgator has your tickets for the upcoming North American leg of their tour, including a second show in Camden, NJ, which was recently added and announced for July 13, 2015.

1/20/15 - The fans in Chile started an impromptu songwriting session with the Foo Fighters last week. The band was on stage in Santiago for a concert that was part of the South American leg of their “Sonic Highways” tour. In between songs, the crowd was yelling “Ole, Ole, Ole, Chile, Chile!” Dave Grohl and his bandmates started playing along, turning the chant into a full-fledged rock and roll song. The show lasted about three hours, a feat nearly unheard of for any other band. You can catch them for one of their epic concerts, as they are on a massive tour that will put them all across North America starting in July. After their bash in the nation’s capital on Independence Day, they will travel to New Jersey’s Susquehanna Bank Center on July 6. Lawn seats are available for that concert for only $57.

1/14/15 - This is certainly an exciting time for Foo Fighters fans. The band behind hit songs such as “The Pretender,” “Everlong,” and more recently, “Something from Nothing,” just announced yet another show at the sixth annual Hangout Fest in Gulf Shores, Alabama. They will headline the May 15-17 festival with their pals, The Zac Brown Band and Beck. Between this event and their massive worldwide arena tour that kicks off in South America this week, the band will have plenty on their schedule through October. You can join front man and guitar player Dave Grohl, drummer Taylor Hawkins, and the rest of the Foo Fighters in a city near you as they take on the “Sonic Highways” tour, titled for their latest studio album. Tickets for all concerts are on sale now.

1/7/15 - Although they have been on the music scene for years, the Foo Fighters have never tired of pleasing and shocking their fans. This past week brought the news that Dave Grohl and his band are playing a surprise show at The Forum in Los Angeles on Saturday, Jan. 10. Proceeds for the show, called “An Evening with Foo Fighters in the Round,” will go to several music charities. This show will happen just days before the start of their ‘Sonic Highways’ tour, which kicks off in Chile. The Foo Fighters will return to the United States by early July, where they will take the stage with Buddy Guy, Heart, and LL Cool J in Washington DC. Tickets for this star-studded 4th of July concert start at $85.

12/30/14 - The Foo Fighters are one of the most iconic rock bands of this generation. They are loved by fans and critics alike, and their music has only improved as the years have passed. Frontman Dave Grohl recently shared a story about his writing process for the songs on the new album Sonic Highways, and his creative process illuminates how much of a natural artist he is. As he and his band were traveling and recording music, he took notes on his observations of the world and talked to different musicians. He then compiled his writing and transcripts and turned the ideas into songs. At the end of the week, he would record the lyrics in the studio and tell the story of the previous few days. You can see Grohl and the rest of the Foo Fighters during their 2015 tour. Excitingly, they will share the stage with other artists periodically, like Royal blood. To see these two groups together, you can buy your tickets for their July 9 performance in Toronto starting at $99.

12/24/14 - The Foo Fighters are one of the most successful rock and roll bands of all time, and that is just as true now as it ever has been. They are keeping very busy, juggling an intense touring schedule that extends well into 2015 and puts them in many cities across four different continents. In their spare time last weekend, they appeared on The Tonight Show and performed “I am a River,” the last track on their newest album, Sonic Highways. The song was written and recorded in New York City, and so it is appropriate that it was presented to Jimmy Fallon’s audience at Rockerfeller Center in the infamous city. The American leg of the Sonic Highways tour begins with a July 4th celebration in Washington DC at the RFK Stadium.

12/16/14 - It may have been a while since the Foo Fighters recorded a new album, but in the interim they certainly didn’t lose their drive to rock and rock hard. Their latest release “Sonic Highways” has arrived with gale-force winds, evident at their tour kickoff last Wednesday in Cape Town, South Africa. The Foo Fighters blew away the screaming fans with songs from the new album as well as old favorites. They will continue to tour worldwide before landing in the United States next summer. The U.S. leg begins on the 4th of July in Washington D.C., a fitting start as their album is subtitled “A Love Letter To the History of American Music.” Tickets for the summer series are on sale now starting at $67.

12/10/14 - The Foo Fighters are easily one of the world’s most celebrated rock bands. Getting their start in 1994 in Seattle, the motherland of all things grunge, they’re now celebrating 20 years in the music industry. Those 20 years have resulted in 11 total Grammys, four of them for Best Rock Album. Their latest album, Sonic Highways, is their first release since 2011 and has been much anticipated. As predicted, this current album is a knock-out, and the band is on a world tour right now. The North American leg of the tour begins in July of 2015 in Washington, D.C. and ends in Memphis, Tennessee in October of that same year. Tickets are available now on Razorgator, starting at under $100.

12/2/14 - The Foo Fighters are at the top of their game following the release of their latest album, titled Sonic Highways. It was recorded in eight different cities across the country, and lead singer and guitar player Dave Grohl described the work as “a musical map of America.” The characteristics and environment of each location are infused throughout each track, giving each song its own personality and charm. In November, the band released 2015 tour dates that will put them in cities throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Australia. On December 2nd, they announced that they had booked additional shows in several US cities. The Foo Fighters are known for playing long sets to captive audiences. Fans who purchase tickets can expect a high-energy performance that will include songs from the new record, plus many older favorites such as “The Pretender,” “DOA,” and “My Hero.”

11/18/14 – The Foo Fighters announced a massive 2015 North American tour today in support of their new album, Sonic Highways. Comprised of three legs, the group is scheduled for 27 shows including two concerts at Fenway Park in July, a gig at Wrigley Field, and a stop at The Forum in Los Angeles. Special guests Royal Blood will open July 6 – August 25 except July 18 when Mission of Burma will perform. The cheapest Foo Fighters tickets in Chicago have already gone down in price to $147 on Razorgator.

11/6/14 - Just prior to their Voodoo Music + Arts Experience performance in New Orleans, the Foo Fighters announced a World Tour. Dates have been confirmed for South Africa, South America, Australian, and Germany shows in addition to the first in the States – Wrigley Field in Chicago. Currently, the American rock band is revealing their new album one song at a time. Scheduled for release on November 10, Sonic Highways includes eight songs each recorded in a different U.S. City. Lead single “Something from Nothing” was influenced by the Chicago music scene so it is only appropriate that the group announced the Windy City’s iconic baseball stadium first of their North America shows. Foo Fighters tickets in Chicago start at $154, and with over 1100 available on Razorgator you will find what you are looking for. Sit in the 200-level behind home plate for $181 or take in the live show from the field with general admission tickets starting at $250. At an average price of $341 for the August 29 show, there is no doubt high-demand to see arguably the biggest rock band in the World today! If the tour mirrors the band’s 2011 Wasting Light tour, we’ll get to see the Foo Fighters in large arenas across the States so don’t miss your chance when the band comes to a City near you.
