Eagles 2015 History of the Eagles Tour

5/11/15 - Just a few short days separate true rock and roll fans from the next leg of the “History of the Eagles” tour, which will resume on Tuesday, May 19 in Austin, TX. The Erwin Center stage will undoubtedly be on fire as the band plays timeless hits such as “Heartache Tonight,” “Best of My Love” and, of course, “Hotel California” along with newer songs like “How Long” and “Busy Being Fabulous” off their 2007 record, Long Road Out of Eden. After becoming one of the most successful bands of the 1970s, winning six Grammy Awards, and being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Eagles are back in a big way. Don’t miss your chance to see them live in a city near you!

5/5/15 - Legendary rockers behind hits like “Horse With No Name” and “Hotel California” are less than two weeks away from resuming their widely successful 2015 History Of The Eagles Tour to the delight of many fans. Although he should be upset about his former band’s success following his unceremonious firing after 27 years writing and performing music together, Don Felder doesn’t hold any grudges. He recently sat down to discuss his departure from the band, saying he still has an affinity and love for them even though they’re no longer close. Felder was the one who came up with the iconic riff for “Hotel California,” saying it just came to him while he was gazing at the Pacific Ocean one day. Although Felder won’t be present, fans can still expect to hear “Hotel California” at all of the Eagles remaining shows.

4/22/15 - Have you ever wondered how the Eagles chose their name? After Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner met and performed together as session musicians for Linda Ronstadt, they decided to start a band. During an alcohol-filled evening in the desert, Leadon spoke of the Hopi tribe’s respect for the eagle and the name took. They soon recorded their debut and self-titled album, which included songs such as “Take it Easy” and “Witchy Woman.” Their current tour, titled “History of the Eagles” has been something truly special as it has included appearances from original band member Bernie Leadon. The tour includes a May 22 concert in El Paso, TX that will be held at the Don Haskins Center. We have tickets for sale starting at $130.

4/15/15 - The legendary rock group behind global hits like “Hotel California” and “Horse With No Name” is pressing ahead on their 2015 History Of The Eagles Tour, which has already been underway on and off for over two years. Band mate Joe Walsh has done some incredible collaborations in his extensive musical history, including with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Levon Helm. This week marks the third anniversary of Helm’s passing, and the Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock are hosting and open house on Sunday to commemorate the musical icon. If you can’t make it to Woodstock, be sure to catch Joe Walsh and the rest of the Eagles live in concert when their tour picks up again next month at the Erwin Center in Austin, TX.

4/6/15 - The Eagles have been on tour for the better part of two years, and with the recent announcement of additional North American dates the band is proving that they are truly worthy of their success. The shows so far have been very well attended and are full of the talent you would expect from legends such as members Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy Schmit, and Bernie Leadon, who have been together since 1971. The set lists this time around have even included rarely heard tunes such as “Those Shoes” and “Doolin-Dalton.” This North American leg begins mid-May and is scheduled to end on July 20 at the Century Link Center in Bossier City, LA. Tickets for that show will cost you $183 and up, but are limited, so act quickly!

3/30/15 - Eagles fans unite! There is cause to rejoice, as the group will embark on another leg of the “History of the Eagles” tour in late spring. The North American journey will start in Austin, TX and end in Bossier City, LA in late July. The tour, named after a 2013 documentary chronicling the careers of the band members, started in 2013 and has put them in cities all across the world. After selling more than 150 records, six Grammy Awards, and being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, this is not a show you want to miss, whether you have seen them in concert before or not. On May 20 he will be at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, OK. The show starts at 8:00PM and tickets start at $100.

3/23/15 - Formed in Los Angeles in 1971, the Eagles quickly became one of the most influential and popular rock bands of that decade. Songs such as “Peaceful Easy Feeling,” “Witchy Woman,” and “Best of My Love” quickly reached the top of the charts and had all the cool cats dancing and singing along. Fast-forward to more than 40 years later, and they are still just as relevant as they ever were. After finishing up a current stint of shows that has them on stage in Australia and New Zealand, they will prepare for the North American leg of their current tour, which is set for this spring and summer. It will begin on May 19 in Austin, TX at the Erwin Center. Our tickets are priced at $92 and up.

The band is not only expanding the record-breaking trek with more US dates this fall, but they’ll be soaring over to Australia and New Zealand early next year. Upon their return from Europe, the Eagles will open the US Aug. 25 in Tacoma, WA. By their final concert (Oct. 11 in Las Vegas) the group will have played five shows at Madison Square Garden (9/13, 9/18) and seven in the Los Angeles area (10/3). Buy Eagles tickets and be a part of the 1.1 million concert-goers to have experienced the “History of the Eagles” since this world-famous tour first launched one year ago.

2/3/14 - It’s almost time for The Eagles to fly into a city near you, on their History of the Eagles 2014 tour! The legendary rockers opened up their trek with a whopping six-night stay at the Forum in Los Angeles, making them the first band to play the venue since its remodeling. Now, the Eagles will take on the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for two nights (get-in for $95 on 2/15, or $127 on 2/16) and head through Texas, Georgia and DC, before closing in Columbus on 3/5 (get-in for $112). Singer-guitarist Glenn Frey mentioned “it could very well be [our last world tour]”—so jump on these Eagles tickets now!

11/1/13 - Following the announcement of eight California shows, the Eagles add ten arena concerts in February and early March including two in Las Vegas, a return to Dallas where the band sold out its October 11 and 12 shows at the same venue, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Raleigh, DC, Cincinnati, and Columbus. The Eagles Dallas show will be their tenth at America Airlines Arena, a record-breaking number for the venue.

Eagles 2013 History of the Eagles Tour

Early this year, the Eagles released a documentary called History of the Eagles that provides an unprecedented and intimate look into the history of the band and the legacy of its music. To support their best-selling music video, the Eagles announced a North American tour that originally included 11 tour dates. The History of the Eagles tour began July 6 in Louisville, where the band was reportedly the highest-grossing act ever at KFC Yum Center. The next evening, the Eagles sold a record-high 22,600 plus tickets at Milwaukee’s Summerfest. At that time, Eagles tickets averaged $235.

Since, the six-time GRAMMY® award winners have added additional legs to their History of the Eagles tour. The current 48-City tour includes three sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden and two at Rogers Arena and American Airlines Center in Dallas. MSG Eagles New York tickets start at $100. The Eagles Tour has been extended through November, and is one of the top concerts that month. After Don Henley mentioned that this could be the band’s last major tour (at least until 2015), Eagles tickets increased an average of $54. The climb in ticket prices also followed an official announcement by Henley that former Eagles band member, and original guitarist, Bernie Leadon would be joining the group on tour.

As the tour’s trek keeps adding more spots, one that stands out is the Eagles Los Angeles dates at The Forum. The legendary band will open the refurbished venue, one they call their favorite, with six shows in their hometown of LA. Expect Eagles Los Angeles tickets to have a similar price to NY tickets.
