Dave Matthews Band 2016 Tour

The Dave Matthews Band made headlines this past month when they hit the stage in Charlotte, NC. The “Bathroom Bill” was extremely controversial in North Carolina and was passed during the time when Dave Matthews Band was playing in Charlotte. The band decided that the show must still go on, on May 27 and they also donated a portion of the proceeds to five charities that are heading up defending equality of all people. Support the long time band this summer as they tour again across the nation. Their next concert will be held in Virginia Beach, VA. Tickets are still available for grabs and start at $69 each. Get yours today before you miss your chance.

Summer is making early debut in 2016, and that’s simply because the Dave Matthews Band is heading out on tour before the season officially begins! The notorious summertime travelers will helping fans fight off whatever springtime chill might still remain starting on May 7 with a live show in Charlottesville, Virginia. The best way to experience DMB is undoubtedly in person, and there are plenty of chances for you to do just that through early September. Come check out the “Crash Into Me” singers on May 20 at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati. Fewer than 300 tickets remain, but if you act quickly you can get yours now starting at just $53.

Syracuse, New York, is home to one brand new concert venue and it looks like its first show to completely sell out will likely be none other than Dave Matthews Band! The Lakeview Amphitheatre opened just last year and will welcome the jam band this summer for one of the hottest concerts of the season. Although many sites are reporting that the June 22 show is sold out, we still have tickets left for sale! Prices for general admission seating on the lawn starts at just $66, but with fewer than 200 tickets remaining, be sure to act quickly! Make your purchase today and avoid missing out on seeing DMB in concert this summer!

Can you believe the Dave Matthews Band has been together for 25 years? It’s true! In fact, Dave and the rest of the guys will be holding a 25th anniversary concert where it all started back in 1991: Charlottesville, VA. It’s also where the band will kick off their annual summer tour on May 7. It should be a great show, because all proceeds will be donated to charitable organizations in Charlottesville. The net value is estimated to be around $1 million. Catch DMB live this summer when their 25th anniversary tour commences this May. Tickets to the opening show are currently priced as low as $64. Don’t miss it!

It may be hard to believe, but the Dave Matthew Band has been together for 25 years! This summer marks their 25th anniversary together, and they are celebrating the occasion by performing not one, but two full sets at each of their scheduled tour stops. In their two and a half decades together, DMB has sold some 38 million albums as well as DVDs. They continue to reign as one of the most popular jam bands in music. Their annual summer tour kicks off on Friday, May 13, at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, TX. Tickets are already on sale and can be purchased for prices as low as $38.

2/2/16 - It’s that time of year again! Dave Matthews and his self-named band have just released the dates for their annual summer tour. The 2016 installment will kick off on Friday, May 13 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, TX and run through Sunday, September 4 at Gorge Amphitheater in Quincy, WA. Matthews always keeps it fresh at his shows, mixing in acoustic covers and lesser-known hits alongside major favorites like “Crash.” Although the tour isn’t set to commence for several months, you can already get your tickets to most of the shows around the country. Opening night prices currently start at $38 and up for the May 13 performance.

2015 Summer Tour

8/4/15 - A little rough weather and a few delays weren’t enough to keep serious Dave Matthews Band fans away at Friday’s concert in West Palm Beach. The crowd at Perfect Vodka Amphitheater weathered heavy rain and even lightning to see their favorite folk rockers. Thunderstorms in the area delayed the group’s first set by 45 minutes, while torrential downpours pressed well into the second set of the show. Although some fans left early, Matthews and the rest of the group rewarded those who stayed. They played several improvised solos throughout their performance that included hits like “Funny The Way It Is,” “Two Step,” and “Grey Street.” Don’t miss DMB’s next show on August 28 at the Fiddlers Green Amphitheater in Englewood, CO. Tickets are on sale for as little as $6.

7/28/15 - Doing 50 concerts at any one venue is a rare accomplishment for any band, but the Dave Matthews Band gets to celebrate just that later this summer and they want to do it with you! They will be on stage at the Gorge Amphitheatre for their 50th show over the Labor Day weekend (Sept. 4-6). With a total of three shows in three nights, it is sure to be a party. Despite the fact that Dave grew up and formed the band in Charlottesville, Virginia, he is clearly fond of performing there! Tickets are available now, and with prices starting at $58-75, depending on the night you choose to attend. With the summer concert season winding down, be sure to see the DMB while you can!

7/20/15 - Not even rain and lightning could keep Dave Matthews Band and fans away from the Noblesville Amphitheater in Indiana last week. More than 18,000 people showed up for the show, and despite the storminess, the band and the audience seemed to have a great time. DMB is known for putting on great shows that make the summer season feel complete and will leave you wishing it were already next year so you can see them again. With their long improvisational jam sessions and serious skills on their instruments, they are definitely an act you need to catch. They will be at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this Friday and Saturday (July 25 and 26) and we have tickets still for sale! Purchase yours today for about $70.

7/13/15 - The Dave Matthews Band is not only popular because of their high-selling album rates, but they are an incredible band to see live. The band is known for putting together long summer tours annually, that always include the United States and Europe. The band is currently on tour in North America until September 13 and then they head overseas. Many concerts of Dave Matthews Band consist of different renditions of their greatest hits, which are often accompanied by elaborate light shows and some video. Seeing them play live is like something you have never seen before. See them in Chicago one weekend and Boston the next and you will hear a completely different show. Up next, the band plays in Noblesville, IN on July 17-18. Tickets are still available and start at $47 a piece.

7/6/15 - Paying homage to one of the most epic improvisational jam bands ever, the Dave Matthews Band covered the Grateful Dead’s “Friend of the Devil” at a concert in Saratoga Springs, New York last weekend. Fellow musician and friend Bela Fleck, who opened the show, joined DMB at the concert and for the cover. Dave has often performed cover songs, but this time it was no doubt in part to the fact that the Grateful Dead recently performed their final shows together. DMB will be continuing their summer tour in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on Wednesday, July 8. They will continue to Charlotte, North Carolina on Friday, July 10 and in Virginia Beach, Virginia on Saturday, July 11. Tickets are available for all three shows with prices starting at just over $50.

6/30/15 - Lots of bands have diehard fans, but few have inspired as much dedication as the Dave Matthews Band. Known for their summer tours, they are on of those bands that put on such unique performances that you could literally see them dozens of times and never get bored. Their extensive discography combined with their musical talent make for a great night of music, no matter if you dig the more relaxed, acoustic vibe or the fuller set with the whole band. While they of course they mix in their most well known hits into the set list, no show on a given tour is ever the same, and that is rare in music these days. Come join the DMB for the Independence Day holiday in Saratoga Springs, New York this Friday and Saturday!

6/23/15 - The Dave Matthews Band has finally found a group worthy of being its opening act: themselves! On their current tour, the DMB has been playing two sets per night in order to accommodate the tastes and schedules of their fans. As such a hugely popular live act, this format has been a successful one in years past for the group, and die-hard fans sure love it. The first set often includes a softer, more acoustic performance, and the second features the rock and roll sound with the full band. Both are special in their own way, and make for a truly unique night of music. The band is coming to the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey on Friday and Saturday (June 26 and 27)! Purchase tickets today with prices starting at $50.

6/15/15 - The Dave Matthews Band has an extensive discography, which makes for long concerts full of their greatest hits, but it is also extra special to hear them debut new music live. At a concert in Hartford this week they debuted not one, but two new songs, titled “Virginia in the Rain” and “Death on the High Seas.” They join “Be Yourself” and “Black and Bluebird,” which were premiered by the band since the tour began. Their tour is just getting going, so it will be exciting to see what new music they will perform next! Purchase lawn tickets to the Friday, June 26 concert at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ for $51. If you’d rather sit in designated seating, prices start at $77.

6/8/15 - The Dave Matthews Band took fans by surprise on Saturday night at the First Niagara Pavilion in Pittsburgh, PA. In lieu of an opening act, Dave Matthews and the rest of his self-titled ensemble took the stage to perform a stripped down set of original material as well as cover tracks. Although the venue was only half filled, Matthews gave a heartfelt, distinctive acoustic performance with an energy that rivaled the electric set to follow. Some of the most notable songs played during the opening acoustic set included “Butterfly” as well as “Take Me To Tomorrow” by John Denver. You never know what Dave Matthews will do at his shows, so don’t miss his next performance at the Xfinity Theater in Hartford, CT on Friday.

6/2/15 - Being a Dave Matthews Band has some unexpected fringe benefits: getting pulled over in your car by Dave Matthews himself! The singer/songwriter was in the Atlanta area for a concert when he spotted a fire dancer bumper sticker on a nearby car. In the midst of stopped traffic, he tapped on her window and, once she realized it was actually him, screamed “holy s***! Dave Matthews’ face is in my car window!” After snapping a photo, Dave asked the fan where he could grab a drink and went on his way. This Friday night, the entire DMB will be in the Cincinnati, Ohio area for a concert at the Riverbend Music Center. Tickets are on sale now for that show, and prices start at $38 for general admission lawn seats.

5/26/15 - Dave Matthews recently took a break from his current tour to talk to news outlets about the band’s goals for this summer. He summarized his hopes for the tour by stating simply, “We’re trying not to suck.” He says so with good reason. The Dave Matthews Band has toured every summer since 1992, never missing a beat. This year, Matthews says that a mixture of fear and excitement are powering the tour. They’re doing something different by performing with a smaller, acoustic set, which Matthews says is an exciting prospect. It’s also somewhat scary, because performing with an acoustic ensemble completely changes the personality of the set, and Matthews just hopes that people like it. Come catch DMB at their next concert in Atlanta this Saturday, May 30.

5/21/15 - The Dave Matthews Band continued their summer tour this week, visiting Rogers, AR on Tuesday night and Southaven, MS on Wednesday night. Matthews and the rest of his self-titled jam band thrilled fans in attendance at Tuesday night’s show at the packed Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion. The evening included an opening set by special guest The Lovely Ladies, who also returned later in the show during the second set to join the main act on stage. The Ladies contributed their voices to hits “You & Me,” “Save Me,” “Drunken Soldier,” and “Stay (Wasting Time).” You never know who will show up at a DMB concert, so come see who’s next to join them on stage when they take the stage of the Walnut Creek Amphitheater this Friday, May 22 in Raleigh, NC.

5/11/15 - The Dave Matthews Band was in New York City last night to perform one last time on The Late Show with outgoing host, David Letterman. The band has a long history performing on the show; their first appearance was in 1995 when they performed “What Would You Say.” Over twenty years later, they played an extended set in which they debuted a new song, “Black and Bluebird.” The performance was an unofficial kickoff of sorts for their summer tour, which began Wednesday night in Austin, Texas. The Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas will welcome the band next. The Friday night show begins at 7:00 and lawn seats will cost you just $37 and upper level seating starts at $52. Purchase your tickets from us today!

5/4/15 - The Dave Matthews Band announced last week that a special guest will be joining them at four summer shows along their 2015 tour. Matthews and the rest of his self-titled ensemble confirmed that they are excited for legendary banjoist Bela Fleck to join them on July 3 and 4 in Saratoga Springs, NY as well as August 28 and 29 in Englewood, CO. Fleck has joined forces with Matthews many times before, playing some 66 shows and 253 songs together since 1996. In fact, Fleck was a part of the memorable 32 minute-long performance of “#41,” the longest jam session ever achieved by DMB. Tickets to all four shows are still available in varying prices and quantities, so don’t miss your chance to see this incredible collaboration live.

4/30/15 - When going to see a huge act such as the Dave Matthews Band in concert, you often have to play the waiting game as openers take the stage for an hour or two before the real fun begins. For their upcoming summer tour, the DMB has invited some of their favorite acts to open for them, which means you can expect an extra helping of great music! Bela Fleck will open the stage July 3 and 4 in Saratoga Springs, New York and on Aug. 28 and 29 in Englewood, Colorado. Fleck is perhaps the most proficient banjo player in the world, and has a long history collaborating with DMB. To see these two great acts perform, purchase your tickets today! Lawn seats for the shows at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center start at just $44.

4/22/15 - If you weren’t already excited enough to see them live, the Dave Matthews Band has released their “Summer Tour Warmup Series” to get you even more amped up for the rapidly approaching kickoff of their summer tour. The first video is of a live 2013 performance of “So Right” at the Austin360 Amphitheater in Austin, TX. That show had to be postponed 24 hours due to weather, but DMB more than made up for it with a legendary performance that included rarely played songs such as “Help Myself” and “Say Goodbye.” To say these guys put on a good show is an understatement, and you have plenty of chances to see them this summer. Those in the Saratoga Springs, NY area can celebrate the July 4 holiday at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center with this iconic, all-American jam band. Ticket prices start at $44.

4/15/15 - It looks like Dave Matthews and the rest of his self-titled band will have to make one important stop ahead of their tour kickoff on May 13 in Austin, TX. The Dave Matthews Band just announced that they will play on the Late Show With Dave Letterman on May 8 as a part of the “Legends of Letterman” concert series, along with a select list of other musicians. The group’s performance will take place on one of the final editions of the Late Show. The occasion is particularly sentimental for Matthews and the rest of the group, as they made their national television debut on the Late Show on the February 24, 1995 installment. They have appeared on the legendary show 12 times over the last 20 years.

4/6/15 - The first date of the 2015 Dave Matthews Band summer tour is just over a month away, and tickets are still available! Opening night kicks off in Austin, followed by two more dates in Texas before continuing on through the south before the group works their way up the East Coast. Although the band has made the announcement that they plan to continue their trend of playing two distinct sets, similar to their 2014 tour, there has not yet been clarification on the particular styles they plan to incorporate. Last year’s shows opened with acoustic renditions followed by a longer set of electric songs—what will they pull from their bag of tricks this year? Tickets for opening night start at just $52, grab yours while you can!

3/9/15 - Frontman Dave Matthews and the rest of his self-titled band have lots of surprises in store for their 2015 Summer Tour, which kicks off at the Austin360 Amphitheater in Austin, TX on May 13. Dave Matthews Band bassist Stefan Lessard recently promises that each stop along the tour will include a completely unique set list, meaning fans all over the world will experience a slightly different show each time. Lessard mentioned that Matthews likes to revisit the set lists the band has played at a specific venue over the last five years so as to avoid repeating the same songs. He also likes to check his set lists at nearby venues so he can make each one distinct in the event that fans are able to attend multiple shows.

3/2/15 - The man behind self-titled Dave Matthews Band disagrees with some fellow musicians, including Neil Young, who claim the recent resurgence of vinyl records is nothing more than a fashion statement. While some think new vinyl sounds nothing different from a digital version, Dave Matthews and other musicians aren’t convinced. Matthews and company recently released their 1994 album Under The Table And Dreaming on vinyl for the first time, believing that was simply the way it was meant to be heard. Vinyl gives listeners access to the imperfections inherent in the recording process, much like listening to the band live. Fortunately, that is exactly the way the Dave Matthews Band likes things. Catch them live on tour this summer starting on May 13 in Austin, TX.

2/23/15 - Want to hear something fresh and new from Dave Matthews Band? They recently announced what will be on their annual Warehouse fan club package this year. The disc will feature recordings of live performances that have never been released. The oldest track is “Let You Down,” and comes from a 1997 tour performance. The compilation also includes never before heard live recordings of “Baby Blue” and “Dive In,” which are timeless fan favorites. The disc will give you a glimpse of what you can expect to see and hear in person as DMB has scheduled another extensive tour for this year. You can celebrate Independence Day with two performances on July 3 and 4 at the Saratoga Performing Arts Street in Saratoga Springs, NY. Tickets will cost you right around $60.

2/19/15 - The Dave Matthews Band has sold over 30 million albums, had six consecutive albums debut at the number-one spot on the charts, is the biggest ticket seller worldwide in the last ten years, and is a household name in nations across the world. Despite their whirlwind success over the span of their careers, the guys are showing no signs of stopping or even slowing down anytime soon. They are preparing for yet another tour, and this time around they are doing two full sets per night. Essentially, this means that DMB is opening for themselves, an amazing feat for any band and really great news for their fans! Catch them May 20 in Southaven, MS as they take the stage at the Snowden Grove Amphitheatre for $64.

2/10/15 - Formed in 1991, the Dave Matthews Band has become one of the most popular and powerful musical forces of a generation. Known for their impressive talent and impeccable musicianship, their concerts feature long improvisational versions of their songs and an elaborate stage full of lighting and video effects. They are a true jam band, and never perform the same show twice. Come enjoy some great rock music that is infused with jazz, bluegrass, and funk rock sounds as they tackle another summer tour. They will begin with ten concerts in the South, appearing in states such as Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and North Carolina. They will be at the Walmart Amphitheater in Rogers, AR on May 19. Tickets for that show can be purchased from Razorgator for $63.

2/5/15 - Following the recent announcement that the Dave Matthews Band would embark on another tour this year, some fans were upset that they hadn’t included any European dates in the schedule. It seems the group heard those voices and responded in kind, as a recent announcement from the group’s website states that they have added concerts in Abu Dhabi, Mexico City, and Europe, giving fans all over the world a chance to see them in concert. This marks their first time in Europe since 2010, and their first time ever playing in the United Arab Emirates. The international leg will kick off this fall, but United States fans across the country can see DMB this summer. Lawn seats for the Saturday, May 16 show in Houston can be purchased now for $67.

1/28/15 - The members of the Dave Matthews Band are no doubt spending time preparing for their upcoming tour, but the group’s front man and namesake, Dave Matthews, is taking some time to celebrate this year’s Super Bowl with the other members of his hometown. He has been invited to raise the 12th man flag for the Seattle Seahawks, who will play in football’s biggest game this year. The entire band will hit the road together this year, beginning with three stops in three different Texas cities in mid-May. Concertgoers can expect to hear all of their favorite DMB hits, including “Crash Into Me,” “Dancing Nancies,” “Ants Marching,” and “American Baby.” Get your tickets for just $62 for the May 15 show in Dallas at the Gexa Energy Pavillion.

1/19/15 - Are you a fan of the Dave Matthews Band? If you are, here is some exciting news! They are gearing up for yet another summer tour, so check the schedule, mark your calendars and get your tickets now! Upon announcing their tour dates, they also announced that they would be playing two full sets each night, an impressive undertaking that will give fans plenty of chances to see them perform live. They will be in nearly 40 cities across the United States and Canada, starting their North American journey in Austin, TX at the Austin360 Amphitheater on May 13. Razorgator has your lawn tickets for only $63 or your seats starting at $118. Come jam with DMB as they perform songs from their eight studio albums.
