Dancing With The Stars 2015 Tour
2/10/15 - Salt Lake City fans of Dancing With The Stars really had something to cheer about when the Live! Tour came through town last Thursday, performing at the packed Maverik Center. Fans were delighted to see Utah native and Mirrorball winner Witney Carson live in action. She dazzled the cheering hometown crowds as she kicked off the show and danced alongside celebrity partner Alfonso Ribeiro. Also featured were fellow professional dancers Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Sasha Farber, Mark Ballas, and Keo Motsepe among others. The Live! Tour is quickly coming to an end, with only four shows across California left to go. Tickets are still available at varying prices for all remaining tour dates, so don’t miss your chance to see your favorite dancers from DWTS perform live!
2/2/15 - With the Dancing With The Stars live tour coming through Denver, CO, last night, regular professional dancer Keo Motsepe recently had the chance to open up about his past and passion for dance. Motsepe began dancing when he was just five years old in his native South Africa. From there, he worked his way from Broadway, to London, and finally to American television. Although he and his celebrity partner Olympic athlete Lolo Jones were the first to be eliminated last season, he still loves sharing dance with the world. According to Keo, the live tour is a “chance for the audience to get to know the dancers more,” since the tour is more about the art of dance than a celebrity spectacle. You can see Keo and many of your favorite professional dancers live until Feburary 15.
1/28/15 - Almost anything can happen during the Dancing with the Stars tour, with select audience members getting a chance to dance alongside their favorite dancer at certain parts of the show. The performances may follow a certain plan, but fans often get much more than just a scripted performance by their favorite dancers. One lucky audience member in Mississippi in early January was actually kissed by Val Chmerkovskly. Chmerkovskly stated he did it as a response to a nervous audience member who states she loved him. Alfonso Ribeiro also often rewards fans with the famous Carlton dance, and some fans at the recent stop in New York City were treated by Ribeiro's one-year-old son joining in. Tickets remain on sale for the future dates of the tour, which goes until mid February.
1/23/15 - The national sensation Dancing With The Stars continues to bring the magic inside and outside of the TV set. With live, interactive performances still scheduled for many cities in the U.S., fans will have the chance to see and even dance with their favorite stars as they foxtrot, cha-cha, and waltz across the stage. The live version of the television show stars recent winner Alfonso Ribiero of Fresh Prince of Bel Air fame as host and features several regular Dancing With The Stars dancers, including Witney Carson, Kym Johnson, Val Chmerkovskiy, Emma Slater, and Mark Ballas. With the live tour concluding on February 15, some of the professional dancers will have to report back to work just two days later for season 20 of the series’ television show.
1/14/15 - Fans of the TV show Dancing with the Stars are enjoying the live tour making its way around the country. The live show is not just a recreation of the show; it is a full spectacle that includes involvement of some of the fans. The stars select fans from the audience with which to dance in the aisles, and even bring a select few on stage to teach them some dance moves. The tour provides an opportunity for the dancers to go beyond the restrictions of the television show and try different dance numbers with different partners, giving fans an opportunity to see even more of the talent of the professional dancers, and the stars who have joined the show to take a stab at ballroom dancing. The tour continues until February 15, with tickets still on sale for most venues.
1/7/15 - Since they got their start in 2005, the crew from Dancing With The Stars has taken ballroom dancing from stuffy to spectacular. They are now taking their incredibly popular act to audiences across the country with a live tour that features many of the show’s most popular professional and celebrity dancers. The reigning champion couple, Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson, will be headlining the show. With many of these concerts already beginning to selling out, some venues are arranging to add matinee showings in order to accommodate more fans. This weekend, the DWTS crew will dance for audiences in Ucasville, CT on Friday; Bethlehem, PA for two shows on Saturday; and Red Bank, NJ on Sunday. Seats are selling out very quickly, but can still be purchased for as little as $68.
12/30/14 - With its unprecedented popularity, the hit TV show Dancing With the Stars has hit the road, touring the United States and bringing its exciting dance numbers to thrilled audiences. The tour has only just begun; the opening the 7-week tour was held in Seneca Niagara Events Center in Buffalo, New York on Saturday night. The performance kept the sold-out audience on its feet the whole time, and reporters described the dancing as “flawless” and “pristine”. The crew will be ringing in the New Year in Atlanta, GA with a concert at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center. After that they will head to Florida for additional shows on Jan. 2-4, 2015. Seating is very limited, so act fast so that you don’t miss your chance to see the Dancing With the Stars crew live!
12/23/14 - A few years ago, ballroom dance seemed like an art form that only previous generations appreciated. However, the last decade has seen a tremendous increase in the popularity of ballroom, largely due to the television show “Dancing With The Stars.” Families nationwide gathered around their TVs and learned about the Tango, the Foxtrot, the Cha Cha, and the work that it takes to choreograph and perform these dance routines. Now the star-studded phenomenon is moving from the silver screen to stages across the country. The 2014 leg of the tour wraps up in New York, and the dancing stars will visit Florida and Tennessee in early 2015. Tickets for “Dancing With The Stars” live performances are still available, but will not be for long. Get yours today.
