Counting Crows 2014 Tour

11/6/14 – The California-based band is heading out on a December Midwest tour in support of their album Somewhere Under Wonderland. Counting Crow tickets are averaging $119 for the 9 shows to close out 2014. Both the Fort Wayne and Detroit concerts are under $100 to watch one of the best live bands play. Don’t expect to hear the same setlist at each City or even just what’s on their latest album. The Counting Crows routinely give us extended lyrics and a variety from their music catalogue on the road. Twin Forks, who released their debut album in February, will open for the band.

5/29/14 - Feel like you've been "Hanginaround" waiting for new music from Adam Duritz and his bandmates? Well, you're in luck, because the Counting Crows have recently signed with Capitol Records to release a forthcoming seventh studio album, "Somewhere Under Wonderland." The Counting Crows' first set of new music in six years will be released in late 2014. This coincides with the release of tour dates across the band's North American summer leg, which kicks off June 11 in Tampa and concludes Aug 17 in Los Angeles. Stops include Nashville, Atlanta, Boston, Columbus, Tulsa, Las Vegas, and the band's hometown of Berkeley, CA on Aug 15.

Counting Crows took alternative rock and infused it with folk sound and lyrics of the late 60s and early 70s, making them an overnight sensation as soon as their music released. When "August and Everything After" hit the waves in the early 90s, the Counting Crows were launched into stardom by its catchy single "Mr. Jones". Across the groups successful career, somber and angsty tunes like "A Long December" and "Round Here", as well as their up-tempo songs "Accidentally In Love" and "Mr. Jones" have amassed Counting Crows both indie and Top 40 popularity.

Dread-locked lead singer Adam Duritz's talented songwriting chops and expressive vocals has heralded comparisons to Bob Dylan and Van Morrison. Fans of rock, both alternative and classic, are drawn to Counting Crows, while new generations of indie songsters incite the groups' influence. The frontman and his six band members are known for their energetic performances and song variance on stage, often infusing other artist's lyrics into their own, making for famously unique shows.

Counting Crows will embark on a huge tour across North America with fellow alt-rockers Toad the Wet Sprocket. The tour will kick off May 16 in Baltimore and will hit major markets like Detroit, New York, Austin and Portland, before closing August 15 in their hometown Berkeley, and finally August 17 in Los Angeles. Get your Counting Crows tickets today and hear the band’s first new material in seven years and songs from their expansive catalogue of hits!
