Coachella Music Festival 2015 News and Updates
3/9/15 - For many fans, the Coachella Music Festival is an annual pilgrimage. For others, it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience music festival culture. Whether you’re a return fan or first timer, it’s important to be prepared for the multi-day event featuring everyone from AC/DC to Alabama Shakes. Get to the festival early for the best camping sites and seats to the show. If you’re over 21, moderate your intake of alcohol and don’t forget to eat enough food and drink plenty of water. If you plan on taking lots of pictures or videos of your favorite bands, don’t forget to bring backup power for your phone or camera. Finally, always keep a spare tube of sunscreen on hand to beat the Indio, CA sun and heat.
3/2/15 - With Coachella only a month away, music fans are preparing for the famous music and art festival. International clothing store H&M has released a Coachella-inspired collection called H&M Loves Coachella that will bring the fashion and creativity from the event to places beyond Indio, CA. The collection will be available online and in stores starting March 19 in North America and March 26th worldwide. This marks the first branded festival collaboration for the company. Another company jumping on board the Coachella bandwagon is Doppler Labs, who makes DUBS Acoustic Filter earplugs. They have partnered with Goldenvoice to provide their new product, DUBS Earplugs, to all pass holders for the 2015 event. Coachella sells out fast, but you still have a chance to get your all weekend pass (starting at $45) or select dates (starting at $29).
1/14/15 - If you have any desire to attend the 2015 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, this is probably your last chance to get tickets. The two weekend event will take place on April 10, 11, and 12 and then again on April 17, 18, and 19. The big name headliners were only announced last week and include AC/DC, Drake, and Jack White. In addition to many art installations and sculptures, the event features rock, indie, hip hop, and electronic music performances. All tickets for individual days are completely sold out, but it is still possible to purchase weekend passes. The more anticipated weekend of April 10th has costs starting at $795 to attend, but the second weekend's tickets can be attained for as little as $118.

4/8/14 - All right party people, Coachella is finally upon us! One of the biggest music festivals in the world will kick things off this Friday, April 11 for Weekend 1. Passes are still available but they'll cost you an arm and a leg: Coachella tickets for Weekend 1 start at $1295 and run up to $4979 for VIP—compare this to StubHub, whose Coachella listings start at $2164.30 for this weekend. Don't fret music lovers, reasonably priced Weekend 2 passes are still available for $434 (not too much higher than face-value), but you better grab them now because it looks like they'll only surge in cost with each passing day! For those of you lucky enough to already have your three-day passes, make sure you score an "Any Line Any Time" Shuttle Pass for just $48 this weekend and make things easier on yourself.
1/9/14 - The moment we’ve been waiting for has arrived—the Coachella 2014 line up has been announced! Headliners for Friday (April 11 & 18) are OutKast (reuniting to take the stage), Broken Bells, Zedd, Girl Talk, Chromeo, AFI and Ellie Goulding for starters. British imports Muse, Queens of the Stone Age, Skrillex, Lorde, Foster the People, Kid Cudi, Nas and Empire of the Sun take the Saturday stages (April 12 & 19). The closing shows on Sunday (April 13 & 20) include indie art rockers Arcade Fire, Beck, Lana Del Rey, Neutral Milk Hotel and Calvin Harris to name a few. This West coast cross-genre party always sells out and proves to be one of the hardest events for music lovers to get into. Don’t miss out when Coachella tickets officially go on sale this Friday and kick off the summer festival season right! We have 3-day passes for the first weekend starting at $411, or slightly cheaper the second weekend, starting at $402. Our VIP passes are cheaper on April 11-13, at $945, compared to the VIP passes for April 18-20 offered at $1040.
9/17/13 - Two weekends of Coachella 2014 dates have been announced. If you are among the 75,000 plus heading to Indio April 11-13 or April 18-20, expect a Coachella lineup announcement early next year. The three-day festival will stay in the Southern California desert until 2030; the annual event will take place at the Empire Polo Grounds next year.
In 2013, Coachella tickets for Weekend 1 sold out quickly followed by Weekend 2. On the secondary market you could find Coachella tickets to the sold-out event up until the day before with Week 2 Coachella tickets starting at $252, almost $100 below face value. The 2013 Coachella lineup included Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phoenix, Benny Benassi, and Blur.
In the year prior, it was Tupac’s hologram that made Coachella headlines. The use of the hologram made it appear as if Snoop Dogg and Tupac sang “Come With Me”, “Hail Mary”, and “Gangsta Party” live together. With around 100 acts performing that year at Coachella, there was something for all audiences to enjoy.
