Bruce Springsteen Rive Tour News and Updates

1/25/16 - There is some great news for Bruce Springsteen fans who are still hoping for their chance to see the legend perform live. He recently announced a brand new leg of his “The River” Tour, including 14 brand new dates as well as a makeup show at Madison Square Garden. The rescheduled stop in New York will take place March 28, due to the chaos caused by Winter Storm Jonas. The new dates include stops in: Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, Denver, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Kansas City, Greensboro, Columbus, Auburn Hills, University Park, Baltimore, and Brooklyn. If you live in one of these cities, don’t miss your chance to catch Springsteen live this spring!

1/18/16 - Bruce Springsteen is officially off and running on his latest tour, and he’s already starting things with a sentimental bang. Springsteen has met, worked with, and become friends with many stars in the music industry in his several decades in the business. Two of those stars were David Bowie and The Eagles’ Glenn Frey, who have sadly passed away in recent weeks. Springsteen has been paying homage to both of them in his opening shows, covering Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel” and The Eagles’ “Take It Easy.” Both performances have been beautiful tributes, and we can’t wait to see what he’ll do next. Tickets to the next show on Sunday start at $188.

1/11/16 - The big week is finally here! After months of anticipated, Bruce Springsteen will kick off his long-awaited tour this Saturday at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Springsteen recently took a moment to honor fellow music legend David Bowie, who sadly passed away this week, by memorializing him as a true “visionary artist” and acknowledging the late star as an “early supporter” of his music. “Always changing and ahead of the curve, he was an artist whose excellence you aspired to. He will be sorely missed,” the singer Tweeted on Monday. Catch Springsteen, a visionary in his own right, when his tour kicks off this Saturday. Tickets are $101.

1/4/16 - Most people know that Bruce Springsteen has been around for a while, but can you believe it has been over 40 years since he released his first album? It’s true! This week marks 43 years since Springsteen released his debut record, Greetings From Asbury Park, NJ, which includes the hit “Spirit in the Night.” The album, which dropped on January 5, 1973, features Gary Tallent as well as Clarence Clemons, who would go on to be the stars of the E Street Band for many years. Springsteen’s latest tour kicks off on Saturday, January 16 in Pittsburgh, PA. Tickets are currently priced at $127 and up, so grab yours soon!

12/28/15 - If you were a little unsatisfied with what Santa left you in your stocking this year, you will be happy to know that Bruce Springsteen is offering a free digital download of nearly an hour of music! The recording comes from a 1980 concert and includes 10 songs that are previously unreleased, giving you the chance to hear “Independence Day,” “Backstreets,” and “Point Blank” like you’ve never heard them before. The nostalgia-inducing music is perfect for just about any music fan—including you! You’ve been good this year, so treat yourself to both some new music and tickets to one of his upcoming shows. Springsteen and the E Street Band will be hitting the road once again starting Jan. 16.

12/23/15 - You don’t have to be born in the U.S.A. to appreciate the timeless, Americana appeal of Bruce Springsteen, but it helps if you are. Listeners across the pond seem to love Springsteen just as much, however, and he proved that on Saturday Night Live. Springsteen appeared alongside Beatles’ icon Paul McCartney to jam out to some Christmas songs together, including “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.” It was a great treat for everyone who was in the audience, and Springsteen and McCartney were the perfect pair. Although McCartney won’t be coming with him, as far as we know, you can catch Springsteen live on tour starting Saturday, January 16. Tickets are $166.

12/14/15 - The last time that Bruce Springsteen appeared on late night television, he cracked us up by performing “Governor Christie Traffic Jam,” a parody using the tune of his infamous hit, “Born to Run.” A seemingly natural at making us laugh, The Boss will be appearing once again on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show this Thursday, Dec. 17, and on Saturday Night Live on Saturday, Dec. 19. Springsteen has been out promoting The River Collection box set and his upcoming tour. With 24 shows scheduled across the United States and Canada, there are plenty of options for fans to catch him live. The tour begins in just one month, so don’t put off purchasing your tickets!

12/10/15 - Bruce Springsteen's 2016 River tour that kicks off in Pittsburgh on January 16th will feature a complete performance of his 1980 platinum-selling album The River. He last played the album start to finish at Madison Square Garden in 2009. Springteen fans across the country will get to hear the album live again from January through March 2016, including two shows each in New York and Los Angeles. The E Street Band will feature a smaller lineup for River tour dates including Jake Clemons and Soozie Tyrell. Springsteen says, "It'll be a little more of a rock band format." River tour tickets go on sales December 11th. In addition to heading out on the road next year, Springsteen announced he's working on solo project.

2014 Tour

5/21/14 - The Boss will be wrapping up his 26-month "Wrecking Ball/High Hopes" tour this week! Don't "Roll the Dice" on this one—there are only two more shows to choose from for Bruce Springsteen tickets, and both are at Soldiers and Sailors Hall in Pennsylvania. There are a limited number of Bruce Springsteen tickets available: pay $66 to get-in on May 22, and $213 to get-in on May 23. 5/13/14- To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA," the Boss is putting together a virtual online museum of his special artifacts. From a driver's license to original artwork and personally penned lyrics, the rocker will also stage a contest every six months for fans to win some of his priceless collectibles. But why just see the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer's items on your computer? Be a part of his history yourself with 2014 Bruce Springsteen tickets!

5/6/14 - Bruce Springsteen just wrapped up the New Orleans Jazz Festival with a brilliant and memorable performance featuring John Fogerty. The Boss will now travel to Houston for his final Western show of the year—and you can still get in for $28. Bruce Springsteen tickets will only be available in Pennsylvania, Connecticut and New York on the remaining six tour dates. The cheapest Bruce Springsteen tickets left are at Hershey Park for $57 on 5/14.

4/30/14 - There are just seven Bruce Springsteen concerts remaining this year—and the average price along his tour has shot up! Last week tickets averaged at $198, but now, they're up to $215. The cheapest Bruce Springsteen tickets offered are for his next show: 5/1 in Tampa for $24 (Festival Lawn Seating). The most expensive get-in price on tour is in Uncasville, CT (priciest date left) for $232 in the Upper Level.

4/25/14 – With just eight shows left on tour, Bruce Springsteen tickets are in high-demand! Averaging $198, ticket prices are most expensive at Mohegan Sun Arena-CT. The cheapest seats in Uncasville however have dropped in price; originally $249 a ticket, the minimum you’ll pay is now $168 (May 17) and $156 (May 18). Tampa Bruce Springsteen tickets are the least expensive, averaging $110 at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have announced 15 new dates in the US! On the tail-end of a successful South African and Australian tour, Springsteen will be hitting cities skipped over on his last US outing, kicking off April 8 in Cincinnati ($199 min.), with nights in Texas and Florida, before ending May 17-18 for a two-night stand in Uncasville ($249 min.). The first wave of dates primarily includes East Coast venues, but West Coasters stay tuned for a potential second leg to be announced shortly. Get Bruce Springsteen tickets now and catch this music icon on his limited-engagement US tour!

Springsteen is touring in support of his new album, High Hopes, which debuted on the Billboard Top 200 chart last month. His eighteen studio album was the musician’s eleventh No.1 album in the U.S., placing him third all-time for most number ones behind The Beatles and Jay-Z. The icon has played new tracks “The Promise” and “Terry’s Song” in Australia so expect the singles to be part of Bruce Springsteen’s U.S. setlist when the “The Boss” returns to America. With the E Street Band, also featured on the album, also assume other unreleased material from the past decade to be heard when Springsteen and his regular backing band hit the road!
