Alicia Keys Tour - 2013 Set the World on Fire Tour
When Alicia Keys burst on to the music scene in 2001 with her debut album, Songs in A Minor, there was little doubt that she would be a major player in the music business for years to come. Over 10 years have passed and during that time she has continued to be one of the top album sellers. Alicia Keys lyrics from songs off her latest album, like "New Day" and "Brand New Me," indicate that Keys has changed since the last we heard from her. This is also evidenced by the first lyrics from Girl on Fire which Keys first performed live at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.
In support of her 5th Studio Album, Alicia Keys is set to kick off her 2013 Set the World on Fire Tour in North America on March 7 in Seattle, Washington at
WaMu Theater. Alicia Keys will be joined by up-and-coming R&B star Miguel on the 24-city tour including top venues like
Staples Center in Los Angeles on March 12,
Barclays Center in Brooklyn on April 15th, and
Madison Square Garden on April 11th. Cheap Alicia Keys concert tickets are available; Set the World on Fire tour tickets are averaging between $137 and $241.
Since her last studio release, The Element of Freedom, Keys married super-producer Swiss Beatz and they had their first child together. More recently, Alicia Keys joined Blackberry as Global Creative Director, performed at President Obama's inaugural celebration, sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, and is slated to perform at this year's Grammy Awards.
